Graham's fury ignited a coordinated assault on Rein, with the divine creature Donok unleashing its "Web Grasp" and Kexi’er firing an invisible ultrasonic wave through Stuttgart's body. Rein transformed into a massive dark silver giant dragon, his expanded form shattering the web and countering the soundwave with a deafening roar that amplified the destruction, collapsing nearby buildings and scattering wizards. Graham's plague beam proved futile against Rein's resilient dragon claw, while Donok charged with rapid strikes, clashing fiercely against the unyielding dragon; Graham then cast Shadow Binding to encumber Rein's movements.

"Hehe! Even with the Dragon Vein Transformation, you're destined to perish right here!" Graham felt a surge of glee in his heart as the Shadow Binding successfully took hold.

Next to him, the "Unlistenable" Kexi’er smoothly unleashed the next assault, abruptly releasing a murky green fog that swelled while swiftly closing in on Rein.

This poison cloud carried tremendous erosive force.

Yet right when the poison cloud neared its target,

in the instant that followed, the massive dark silver dragon, stretching more than sixty meters, abruptly disappeared before all eyes, catching even Graham off guard for a moment.

All of a sudden!

The dark silver dragon materialized behind the distant "Unlistenable" Kexi’er, and prior to any response from the foe, a razor-sharp, enormous dragon claw stabbed into its spinal column from behind.

The second dragon claw gripped its armored skull, much like basketball legend O’Neal grasping an ordinary water bottle.

Since the enemy's frame was just a few meters tall against Rein’s ancient dragon shape, it seemed ridiculously tiny.

"Snap!"

The enemy's skull exploded right on impact!

Still, Rein’s onslaught continued unabated.

"Fiery Breath!"

A blazing red conical blast rapidly widened, swallowing the headless remains of "Unlistenable" Kexi’er entirely.

...

"Space... Space Witchcraft!"

"That's impossible!" Graham cried out in horror, his words tumbling out in a stutter!

Without space witchcraft, how could Rein’s enormous dragon form just vanish like that?

This puzzle overshadowed even the shock of "Unlistenable" Kexi’er’s swift demise!

Theoretically, being a shard of Nael Breccan, it should resist standard physical strikes or witchcraft harm effectively, needing a High Rank Wizard to bombard it relentlessly with spells to eliminate "Unlistenable" Kexi’er.

In his original scheme, while the colossal dragon Rein became boasted strong defenses, stacking negative witchcraft effects would gradually sap its strength until they overpowered it.

Then, the final element for Nael Breccan’s descent would fall into place, pure and potent.

However, Rein’s bizarre vanishing and sudden return wrecked his entire strategy!

...

"Hiss~ Space Witchcraft!"

A wizard from the Isodre School who survived drew in a sharp breath, refusing to accept the sight.

"Vanished for ages, and now Space Witchcraft returns!"

Yet another wizard with gray locks reacted with near-mad shock!

The rest of the Isodre School wizards stood there, mouths agape at the spectacle, struggling to process it for quite some time.

At the same time, following "Unlistenable" Kexi’er’s fall, numerous civilians in Nirheim City began returning to their senses, as spider traits faded away, extra limbs shifted back to hands, and eerie markings on their flesh dissolved.

The only downside remained the inner injuries that couldn’t be avoided.

Plenty slumped over in exhaustion for a bit, yet that beat morphing into spider hybrids by a mile.

...

On Rein’s end, he promptly allocated an attribute point to restore his nearly exhausted stamina to its maximum; while ’Shadow Shifting’ proves incredibly handy, it ties to body mass, where bigger sizes complicate the shift.

That’s precisely why he refrained from employing this special power recklessly.

As he executed ’Shadow Shifting’, he also triggered ’Dragon Soul Strike’, the core ability of his sole legendary profession so far, which inflicts true damage and excels against godly manifestations and shards.

Thanks to their joint impact, despite the heavy toll, the outcome proved decisive; one swift combo took out "Unlistenable" Kexi’er, a fragment of the Evil God Nael Breccan!

Right then, the system notification popped up as expected:

[Ding! Detected an unknown high-quality energy enhancing spiritual power’s qualitative level, absorb? (Note: System absorption excludes impurities.)]

Rein’s gaze lit up at once, and he selected "Yes" without hesitation!

He’d foreseen this development from the start.

In a flash, a tremendous, untainted surge of power flowed from Kexi’er’s burned corpse via his dragon claw, straight into his consciousness.

Within his mind, the spiritual power core, once the size of a plum, grew noticeably larger!

Once the absorption finished, Rein shook off his dragon claw casually, tossing Kexi’er’s scorched husk aside like worn-out footwear, before fixing his draconic stare on Graham and "Unseeable" Donok.

A deep chill gripped both of them from deep within.

It felt exactly like facing the gaze of an apex hunter.

"Retreat...(mumbled chaos)" Donok rasped, stepping back twice.

"Whoosh!"

Donok, whose form spanned dozens of meters, flicked its rosy compound eyes and dove into the earth; its eight massive legs clawed at the soil with blinding velocity, vanishing underground in a blink.

Witnessing this, Graham broke into a cold sweat!

With Donok, whose prowess outstripped his, fleeing, he had no intention of sticking around.

Yet pursuing Donok’s route risked Rein snagging him midway.

So Graham bolted into a separate tunnel instead.

Rein found himself hesitating briefly!

For starters, he hadn’t anticipated the Evil God’s fighting spirit crumbling so fast.

More importantly, he debated which to pursue first?

Realistically, he could only claim one.

After a quick deliberation, he barreled after Donok.

The logic was straightforward—Donok being another piece of Nael Breccan meant slaying it would yield absorbable divine essence.

"Boom!"

The dark silver dragon crashed into the tunnel Donok had dug, its hefty claws gleaming with dense dark silver sheen as they smashed the earth!

Waves of dark silver metallic energy rippled downward.

A barrage of metal spikes sealed off the deeper burrows, drastically hindering Donok’s excavation pace.

The dragon hunkered down and yanked free a lengthy chunk of limb, one of Donok’s four elongated legs.

"Roar!!"

With a furious bellow, Rein’s dark silver dragon frame tensed, scales rippling over bulging muscles, as Donok sensed an overwhelming force dragging that leg upward.

"Crack!"

Spotting the danger, Donok severed the limb just in time, trying to retreat further into the depths.

As fast as it happened!

Rein’s spare dragon claw slammed into the dirt and skewered Donok’s flesh!

"Hiss!!"

In agony, Donok thrashed wildly, chomping savagely at the invading claw.

At the same instant, Rein unleashed ’Dragon Soul Strike’, channeling fiery breath into the burrow to sear Donok into a blackened arachnid.

The system alert chimed once more:

[Ding! Detected an unknown high-quality energy enhancing spiritual power’s qualitative level, absorb? (Note: System absorption excludes impurities.)]

...

Moments after the absorption wrapped up, Rein shifted back from his elder dragon state to human form.

That said, Rein observed that the gash on his left arm failed to mend itself, and upon inspection, a dull gray-black bite scar marred his triceps, neither worsening nor mending, locked in stalemate.

For someone like Rein, with his superior poison tolerance and vitality, this marked his initial brush with such potent venom.

Rein eyed the system interface’s description, his brow furrowing faintly.

"Donok’s Poison..."
