As the confrontation escalated, a colossal Gorlon Giant burst from the earth beneath the Isodre School, its massive form towering like an ancient ape, with a single bloodthirsty eye glaring from its grotesque head. Wizards of the school gasped in shock and excitement, recognizing the long-extinct beast—preserved as a corpse for centuries and now unnaturally revived, its earth energy tainted with undead corruption. Rein, sensing the sinister aura tied to Stuart's secret alliance with the Tutkash School, faced the imperfect resurrection calmly, while Stuart, humiliated, unleashed the giant and the school's Quicksand Trap to ensure Rein's demise.

"Do you believe a lone undead Gorlon giant will secure your victory?"

Rein uttered those words while his aura climbed without pause!

Starting from the Dawn early-stage vibes he had shown moments ago, it skyrocketed straight to the Dawn middle-stage pinnacle, causing Stuart's eyelids to flicker and sweat to bead across his brow.

"You've concealed your true power?!... Yet you're barely out of your youth—how could you possibly reach the Dawn middle-stage?"

"No way! I've toiled for more than three centuries, pushing forward with effort, but still haven't entered the Dawn middle-stage, while you..."

"The Evil God must possess you!"

"Gorlon giant! Take him down!" Stuart bellowed, his feelings spiraling out of control.

This inner turmoil had plagued him forever; he'd lingered in the Dawn early-stage far too long!

Witnessing Rein, so youthful, effortlessly advancing to the Dawn middle-stage turned all of Stuart's efforts into a farce.

"Boom!!!"

Obeying the command, the Gorlon giant hoisted an arm thicker than the temple's columns and smashed toward Rein with overwhelming force, like the sky crumbling and the ground crumbling beneath it. Just the rushing wind alone forced the nearby Isodre School Wizards to struggle for air, fleeing every which way to escape the blow!

....

Right then.

Nirheim's whole city shook from the quakes of the Gorlon giant's descent, with residents staring in terror toward the urban heart where a colossal form had abruptly appeared.

At Nirheim's gates, the Brighton caravan folk, who had been settling the toll to pass inside, froze in shock while eyeing the Gorlon giant.

The Plateau Oxen hauling the wagons lowed in wild panic, and only the frantic grip of the Brighton Warriors kept them from bolting everywhere.

"W-What monster is that?!" the young woman Ayana cried out in alarm.

"That's the Isodre School headquarters. Might it connect to Lord Rein, who visited there recently?" the Brighton lad Antaruka also inhaled sharply.

"Stay out of the city for now—caravan, conceal yourselves outside at once!" the Brighton Elder yelled.

Simultaneously, he stared at the far-off Gorlon giant, mind flashing to the ancient Shirendil Plateau legends shared in the clan, whispering:

"Is this the fabled Gorlon giant known for ripping the land asunder...?"

...

At the same time.

Beneath a tunnel system close to Nirheim.

Graham from the Tutkash School trudged through cramped passages, encircled by hordes of bizarre spiders, including some eerily huge ones rivaling calf size.

It formed a massive alien spider lair, boasting spider varieties and quantities that dwarfed the one Rein had confronted earlier.

All of a sudden, Graham stopped short and turned toward Nirheim.

"Hmm? That energy—Stuart called forth the Gorlon giant?"

"Seems Rein is indeed present."

"Perfect moment; all pieces align!" Graham grinned, scanning the vast spider lair.

In an instant, his form disappeared from sight.

...

Around the Isodre School outpost plaza.

The Gorlon giant's massive fist had just descended, and the hanging haze of dirt hadn't cleared completely.

Yet a shadowy silver disk burst from the cloud at lightning speed, tracing a wide curve straight for the giant's glaring lone eye.

Still, despite its bulky clumsiness, the Gorlon giant moved nimbly. Its bulky skull pulled back, and a sturdy, rock-hard arm rose a bit, halting the dark silver disk with its stone-smooth bicep.

"Sizzle!"

A brilliant yellow glow lit the Gorlon giant's arm, combined with its tough, stony flesh, enduring almost two meters of slicing harm but stubbornly stopping Rein's Dawn Killing Move 'Blade-toothed Disc.'

For the first time, Rein's 'Blade-toothed Disc' met a foe that could shrug off its striking force.

Even as the Blade-toothed Disc sliced into the Gorlon giant's stone-like flesh, against the limb's four-to-five-meter girth, the two-meter gash counted as minor damage.

"Heh heh, the Gorlon giant boasts innate supreme defenses, drawing in earth element particles on its own to bolster protection. Without that, how could it possibly shred a giant dragon?"

Observing this, Stuttgart let out a laugh.

"Your strike packs serious punch, but its impact zone is too narrow. It might work on lesser beings, yet against the Gorlon giant, it's pointless."

"Gravity Field!" Stuttgart swiftly directed the Gorlon giant into a retaliation.

A wildly warped gravitational pull, radiating from the Gorlon giant, swiftly covered the area.

"You evaded the Quicksand Trap, but this Gravity Field—you can't escape it at all."

"Get ready to perish, Rein!"

"Gorlon giant, smash him flat!" Stuttgart hollered from behind the Gorlon giant's skull.

...

"Oh? You truly believe this Gorlon giant is beyond my handling?" Rein sensed the altering gravity weighing on him, smirking as he eyed Stuttgart.

"Disregarding the safety of Nirheim City's common folk, wildly bringing back and controlling the Gorlon giant..."

"Stuttgart, you've let me down terribly!"

At those words, Rein's aura exploded onward, astonishingly surpassing the Dawn Wizard middle-stage crest and leaping right into the Dawn late-stage!

Earlier, Rein had seen nearby dwellings, roadside stalls, lordly manors, and such starting to crumble... should the Gorlon giant keep raging, Nirheim City could lie in total ruin, no matter if he slew Stuttgart.
