Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1542 - 530: Two Strikes to Slay Gorlon (Part 3)
Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
"What!"
"Dawn Late Stage!" As he stared at Rein, Stuttgart's eyes bulged wide with utter disbelief.
"Rein, the Evil God must have taken over you—you... you're nothing but a freak!"
Once again, Rein lifted his right hand, summoning a dark silver disc that dwarfed the previous one in width right above his palm, where it floated and whirled at breakneck speed.
This round, Rein poured everything into it, firing off his ultimate Dawn Killing Move, 'Blade-toothed Disc', at maximum power.
Differing from the last attempt, the disc now spanned over five meters across!
Although this witchcraft killing move targeted just one foe with its power tightly focused, the surrounding air started to warp and bend in eerie ways...
"Swish!"
Rein whipped his right hand forward, sending the dark silver metal disc hurtling toward Gorlon Giant's skull at blinding velocity.
"Shield of Rock!"
"Iron Arm Defense!"
Stuttgart yelled out in growing alarm, all the while unleashing his strongest Earth Defense Witchcraft and directing Gorlon Giant's protective measures.
Gorlon Giant's enormous arms, tough as boulders, swiftly crossed over his face to guard his head, as a massive, see-through vortex of Earth Element Energy surged up from the earth, enveloping the giant's torso entirely.
"Screech!"
The Blade-toothed Disc tore through Stuttgart's 'Shield of Rock', yet it only skimmed Gorlon Giant's limbs and cranium before zipping past!
"Missed?"
Stuttgart froze for a split second in surprise, then a manic grin spread across his features!
"Hahaha, Rein, pulling off back-to-back Dawn Killing Moves—even as a Dawn Late Stage Wizard—must be taking a real toll on you."
"Is that so?" A subtle smirk played on Rein's lips as he regarded Stuttgart.
All at once, an odd terror gripped Stuttgart, prompting him to lunge sideways on pure instinct.
The instant after!
A streak of dark silver radiance burst from the space behind him, clipping his Wizard Robe before plunging deep into the rear of Gorlon Giant's head!
"Damn it!"
"This cursed thing can actually come back..."
Shaken to his core yet grateful for dodging disaster by a hair, Stuttgart halted mid-breath, unable to voice his full sigh of relief.
Reflected in his bulging eyes, half of Gorlon Giant's head began to slip away, exposing a neat, mirror-like slice, after which the towering form—like a tiny peak—toppled down with a thunderous roar!
"Boom!!"
The earth trembled fiercely; brutal gusts whipped through, kicking up clouds of dirt and grit that billowed outward!
Observed from a distance, it resembled a sudden mushroom cloud blooming over the Isodre School Station.
"Stuttgart, surrender now and confess your deeds to the Empire honestly, and I'll let you live," Rein stated evenly, his gaze steady on Stuttgart.
"Rein, you really believe victory is yours?"
"Wrong—it's you! You've dragged Nirheim and the whole Shirendil Plateau down into ruin!" Stuttgart jerked his head up, his expression twisting into frenzy as he jabbed a finger at Rein.
The Sect Leader's outburst sowed uncertainty among the Isodre School wizards!
After all, against the might of a Dawn Late Stage Wizard, their school's loss appeared unavoidable, but Rein's offer suggested he sought no deeper vengeance—just for the Sect Leader to own up to the Empire.
In their eyes, such mercy was beyond generous!
Yet, what was behind their Sect Leader's latest outburst?
What did he intend by dooming Nirheim and Shirendil Plateau to the abyss?
"Graham, I sense you're here! How long will you keep spectating? Show yourself at once!" Stuttgart bellowed, his eyes blazing with fury, his voice laced with wild excitement.
