Rein unleashed a spinning dark silver disc, a rare Metal Series Dawn Killing Move, that sliced through the Isodre School's defenses with effortless precision. Despite Malcolm's shields and Stuttgart's formidable Shield of Rock, the disc bisected the deputy sect leader and then arced to decapitate another Crystalization Peak elder, leaving the wizards in stunned horror. Stuttgart, recognizing the attack's devastating power, acknowledged Rein's underestimated strength while the ground beneath them trembled, swelling as the school's ancient heritage stirred to life.

"Oh? Judging by your expression, do you have a backup plan?"

Amid the tremendous uproar that shook the ground, Rein stayed composed and spoke in a detached tone.

All at once, a pair of enormous arms erupted from the soil, looking like human-like limbs stretching at least thirty to forty meters in length and measuring four to five meters thick.

Then, a hideous head surfaced from below the surface.

The head loomed as big as a building, its mouth stretched in a grin reaching the edges of its cheeks to the utmost, as though one more inch would split it open all the way to the rear of its skull. Yet the most eye-catching feature was the huge single eye of a cyclops right in the middle of its forehead, positioned above the mouth.

The eye's whites held a vast swath of blood-red hue, and its pupil gleamed in a yellowish-brown shade, radiating vibes of ferocity, savage hunger for blood, and utter disdain for every living thing!

As the full form emerged, covered in dense flesh that mimicked the texture of marble, the onlookers grasped that this being towered to an incredible height, like an ape scaled up by tens of times!

"Gorlon... (Ancient Common Language)"

A deep, rumbling growl that dragged slowly poured from its gore-drenched maw, akin to a thousand hide drums pounded at once, echoing wildly through the wilderness!

This sight terrified numerous First Level Fogging Stage Wizards of the Isodre School, prompting them to retreat on instinct out of terror.

"What... what kind of monster is this?!"

"Looks like the Gorlon Giant believed to have gone extinct!" A Second Level Liquidization Wizard exclaimed in astonishment, as though a memory struck him, and he let it slip out.

"The Gorlon Giant? Legend has it their grown forms hit Epic Late or even Epic Peak power, capable of ripping apart massive dragons with nothing but their hands?"

"But how could a live Gorlon Giant exist beneath the school's foundation?"

"Doesn't matter! Right now, our school's foe is this Rein. With a Gorlon Giant on our side, the enemy will have to run away defeated!"

....

In that instant, the Wizards from the Isodre School buzzed with heated chatter!

"The Gorlon Giant has come back to life?!"

Differing from the ordinary school Wizards, the pair of Crystalization Peak stage wizard elders traded glances filled with shock, then waves of grave worry and bewilderment.

As the 'fossil' veterans of the Isodre School, they of course knew the backstory behind the Gorlon Giant standing there now.

It all stemmed from a school expedition into an ancient ruin some five or six centuries back, during which the school's Wizards discovered a Gorlon Giant corpse that had perished long ago but remained remarkably intact!

Indeed, a corpse!

Thanks to the Gorlon Giants' natural knack for controlling soil and stone, even in death, the body would draw in earth element energy particles on its own, offering huge potential for study among Earth Wizards.

Therefore, it stayed hidden away, tucked deep in the school's subterranean chamber for centuries.

This served both for research by advanced wizards.

And to boost the concentration of mysterious particles at the base, amplifying the potency of the witch array.

"But how did it revive?? Our school doesn't deal in undead..."

Suddenly, the two wizard elders trembled, remembering Rein's previous statement, and grasping the truth in a flash.

They both subtly shifted back a bit, distancing themselves from their sect leader Stuart.

"The Gorlon Giant! Quite the unexpected gift." Rein commented while watching, revealing his insight.

"Yet I detect a heavy odor of rot, which makes me grasp why Stuart and the Tutkash School have gotten along so 'smoothly'."

Drawing on the sharp spiritual sense from his Dawn Late Stage, Rein quickly sensed that the Gorlon Giant's once pristine and thick earth element energy waves now clashed oddly with abundant undead energy, plus a concealed, malevolent, and majestic presence.

"Shut up!" Stuart snapped, a brief red tint of shame crossing his face, his voice laced with fury and annoyance.

Evidently, the Gorlon Giant had been dead for ages. Despite endless efforts from successive high rank wizards in Isodre, they had managed only this level of use from it.

Yet Stuart refused to accept that.

In particular, since his own power had lingered at the Dawn Early Peak barrier for so long, he turned his thoughts to undead sorcery.

For if the Gorlon Giant could be brought back successfully, even without regaining Epic Peak might, merely reaching Epic Late would propel him into the Empire's elite ranks!

Maybe it would even help him break through effortlessly to Dawn Middle Stage!

Thus, over time, he started reaching out to the Tutkash School, and in the end, permitted their complete operations across the Shirendil Plateau.

Naturally, he imposed boundaries on the Tutkash School's moves, and earlier visits by Empire Guardians to the Shirendil Plateau overlooked any tie between those strange spider lairs and the Tutkash School, dismissing it all as just an incursion by foreign creatures.

However, Rein had now exposed the ties of those deeds and dug up the hidden pact between him and the Tutkash School.

This forced Stuart to conclude that Rein had to die right here. Even resorting to awakening the Gorlon Giant, which hadn't completely turned undead, Rein absolutely had to perish on the spot.

Failing that, if Rein slipped away to the Imperial City, Stuart would have nowhere to hide in the entire empire.

"It's not flawless, but slaying you should be more than enough!" Stuart declared in a grave voice.

The Gorlon Giant hadn't become fully undead, but it possessed Middle Stage Peak power. Combined with the school's grand witch array, the 'Quicksand Trap,' it would cause severe trouble even for top-tier wizards at Dawn Late Stage.
