Rein launched a devastating ambush from the shadows of the Magma Lake, using a formidable metal disc to slice the Ancient Sea Beast Glasers in half. This sudden intervention allowed the Ancient Red Dragon Fermo to regain the upper hand, brutally finishing off the beast and unleashing a fiery assault on the invading Sea God Sect. As Pope Egil attempted a desperate retreat with his remaining followers, Rein intercepted him within the narrow tunnels, severing the Pope's arm and forcing him to flee. While Egil escaped using a dark secret technique, Rein remained behind to claim a mysterious Divine Power Crystal left among the wreckage of the battle.

After a brief moment of deliberation, Rein abandoned the chase. Instead, he leaned down and retrieved the black crystal embedded in the severed limb.

As expected, the system's notification rang out immediately:

[Ding! A Divine Power Crystal has been detected. It possesses the capability to refine the quality of spiritual power. Would you like to initiate accelerated absorption? (Note: System-assisted absorption removes all impurities and allows for instantaneous integration.)]

Rein gave his consent without a second thought: "Yes!"

He instantly felt a massive, sinister, and overwhelming wave of energy erupt from the black crystal. However, once the system refined it, the energy was transformed into a pure stream that surged up his arm and directly into his mind.

Inside his consciousness, the particles of his spiritual power began to expand rapidly!

Moments later, Rein pulled up his attribute interface to check his progress:

Spirit: 282 (Quality 70%)

The growth in his total spiritual power was a result of the points accumulated during his recent conflicts, combined with the bonuses from his transition into a legendary Goblin Engineer.

"A 9% increase in quality—not bad at all!"

While the percentage might seem modest, Rein felt no disappointment, as the result aligned perfectly with his calculations.

This wasn't the first time he had handled a Divine Power Crystal.

In the earlier stages of liquification or crystallization, such a crystal could easily provide a twenty to thirty percent boost. However, for a Fourth Level Dawn Wizard of his caliber, the returns were naturally diminished.

Unless he managed to acquire a massive fragment of the crystal, significant jumps were unlikely.

Nevertheless, the gain was substantial. Relying solely on Advanced Meditation Methods would have taken Rein several years to achieve the same result, while other Dawn Wizards might have labored for a decade or more.

Returning to the chamber within the Molten Lava Lake, Rein spotted Menia engaged in conversation with the Red Dragon, Fermo. It was clear she had stepped out of hiding on her own initiative.

Menia had likely been concerned that Rein might do something reckless.

"Fair human woman, I detect a scent of that ancient, singular aura upon you. Do you carry the Dragon Blood lineage?"

"Honorable Lord Fermo, Menia Dragon offers you her most sincere greetings!" Menia said, bowing respectfully to the venerable dragon standing before her.

"Oh? You appear to be gravely wounded. Is this... the aftermath of a Dragon Blood Sacrifice?" Fermo’s massive eyes flickered with astonishment.

The dragon looked between Menia and Rein, remarking, "Young and potent human Wizard, you are truly fortunate to have a companion willing to offer a Dragon Blood Sacrifice on your behalf."

"And you, young lady—your partner possesses the strength to actually halt a Dragon Blood Sacrifice. Such power is a rare sight among your kind."

Rein found himself momentarily speechless at Fermo’s polite observations.

To Rein's surprise, the dragon took it upon himself to offer a solution: "The Blood Essence of the 'Smoldering Electric Eel' possesses a unique property for mending bloodline injuries, far exceeding that of standard Dragon Blood Essence."

"If you are both agreeable, I shall assist the lady in her recovery free of charge, as a gesture of my thanks."

After glancing at Rein, Menia smiled and gave a slight bow to the Ancient Red Dragon. "We would be honored. Thank you, Lord Fermo."

Fermo nodded and seized the two halves of Glasers’ remains. He began to chant in the rhythmic Dragon Language.

In short order, a vibrant purple Blood Essence began to leak from the eel's carcass, gathering into a floating sphere of blood in the air.

As the essence was drained, the once-lustrous remains of Glasers shriveled at a visible rate, and the purple markings along the back faded into dullness.

"Roar!!"

Once the extraction was nearly complete, Fermo unleashed a searing, conical blast of Dragon Breath upon the floating purple cluster!

The intense heat burned away the impurities, causing the sphere to shrink from the size of a carriage down to the size of a millstone as it underwent a deep refinement.

Soon, the sphere reached its final state: a dazzling, purplish-red orb that glowed like a gemstone and emitted a mouth-watering aroma.

"Beautiful lady, prepare yourself for meditation!"

The refined blood cluster drifted toward Menia. As she entered a state of deep meditation, threads of the Blood Essence began to seep into her body.

Rein could feel Menia’s presence growing stronger—or rather, returning to its peak. This sight greatly lifted his spirits.

When Menia had fully integrated the Bloodline Essence of the Smoldering Electric Eel, the Ancient Red Dragon let out a long breath. He leaned toward Rein and lowered his voice:

"Lord Rein, the devotion you two show for one another is truly moving. However, it is quite obvious that this lady has not yet shared that final intimacy with you."

"The Blood Essence of predatory species like these eels carries a potent aphrodisiac effect. This is as much as I can help you for now."

"Your lady is waking up; I believe it is time for me to depart. I shall take this chance to see what has become of the world outside!"

Rein’s eyes went wide as he processed Fermo's words, finally understanding what the dragon meant by 'stimulating power' and 'spontaneous' moments.

"Ang!!!"

With a final cry, the somewhat mischievous Red Dragon Fermo lunged out of the magma, beat his gargantuan wings, and ascended through the opening above.

As the dragon disappeared, Rein turned his attention back to Menia, whose condition was stabilizing.

Watching her, he noticed two faint clouds of red spreading across her cheeks. It highlighted her noble features, making her look even more radiant and captivating than usual.
