The ancient Red Dragon Fermo has awakened within its undersea volcanic lair, immediately clashing with the invading Sea God Sect and their terrifying sea beast, the Smoldering Electric Eel Glasers. While Pope Egil and his high-level Evil Sorcerers struggle against the dragon’s magma-infused fury, Rein observes the chaotic battle from the sidelines with Menia. Identifying the sea beast as the enemy's primary strength, Rein prepares to intervene using his newly mastered Dawn Killing Move, the Blade-toothed Disc. As the Red Dragon forces Glasers deep into the lava, Rein seizes the opening to launch a lethal underwater strike against the distracted beast.

The massive vertical pupils of Glasers scanned the area frantically. Despite the thick sulfurous fumes drifting across the Magma Lake, the creature could detect no threat other than the Red Dragon.

Suddenly, it sensed something!

A flicker of movement had occurred deep within the molten magma!

Before it could process the sight, a sharp, agonizing pain tore through the center of its torso.

Glasers looked down, and horror instantly seized its mind.

To its absolute shock, it realized its powerful body had been sliced clean in half!

"It’s Rein!!"

Watching this sudden catastrophe unfold, Pope Egil of the Sea God Sect was consumed by an uncontrollable fury!

He still couldn't pinpoint Rein's exact location, but the devastating power of the metal disc that had just manifested left no doubt as to who had struck the blow.

From the concealment of the shadows, the opponent had delivered a lethal strike, instantly executing the Ancient Sea Beast, the 'Smoldering Electric Eel' Glasers!

Glasers was meant to be the Sea God Sect's primary trump card for this entire operation!

The remaining high-rank Evil Sorcerers of the Sea God Sect were paralyzed with terror, their eyes wide with panic as they stood frozen.

How could they possibly continue the struggle now that Glasers, their strongest combatant, had been slain?

Without Glasers, they lacked the strength to even face the Red Dragon standing before them!

In a single moment, the morale of the Sea God Sect collapsed, and their spirits were utterly broken!

At that time, Fermo, the Ancient Red Dragon, turned his gaze toward Rein. A flicker of astonishment crossed his eyes, followed quickly by a grateful nod.

"Strange and powerful human Wizard, you have my thanks for your aid!"

"As for you vermin who dared to trespass upon my domain—perish!"

Fermo, the Ancient Red Dragon, beat his massive leathery wings and lunged forward. He clamped his jaws around the twitching upper torso of the 'Smoldering Electric Eel' Glasers, 'crunching' down with enough force to shatter the creature's pointed skull!

But the dragon was far from finished!

Fermo harbored a deep resentment toward Pope Egil and the ten-plus high-rank Evil Sorcerers who had assaulted him. He unleashed a torrent of Fiery Breath at them, while a sweep of his giant red wings sent two swirling magma whirlwinds in their direction!

"Retreat!!!"

Pope Egil of the Sea God Sect bellowed the order, turning to flee immediately.

It was obvious that continuing the battle was no longer an option.

Even ignoring Rein, the sheer power of the Ancient Red Dragon alone put them at a fatal disadvantage.

"Vile invaders, do you truly believe escape is possible?"

Dragons are notoriously vengeful beings.

Fermo the Red Dragon gave chase without mercy. Although his massive frame could not fit into the narrow tunnels the Sea God Sect had used to infiltrate, he opened his predatory maw and blasted his Fiery Breath directly into the passage!

A cone of brilliant scarlet flames flooded the tunnel, followed immediately by a chorus of agonizing screams!

The Dragon’s Breath of an Extremely Old Dragon possessed terrifying power. It caused Pope Egil’s Defensive Witchcraft to flicker violently and nearly obliterated his lower-ranked subordinates at the Third Level Crystalization.

As the fire died down, Egil felt a brief moment of relief, but a glance around revealed that only two elite members of the Sea God Sect remained. Everyone else had been incinerated by the Heart of Blazing Breath.

Egil’s heart sank to his stomach, and he nearly coughed up blood from sheer rage!

Not only had he failed the divine mission given by their Goddess, but he had also lost more than half of the Sea God Sect's core elite.

He suddenly remembered the Divine Power Crystal the Goddess had granted him.

If he threw the crystal into the magma, the resulting explosion and volcanic eruption might not kill Rein or the Red Dragon, but it would be better than fleeing like a beaten dog—it would at least leave them severely wounded.

A look of pure malice crossed Egil’s face as he pulled out the crystal, which pulsed with a Black Radiance.

In the next heartbeat, a flash of dark silver light zipped before his eyes.

Egil’s heart hammered against his ribs in sheer terror as realization struck!

He knew exactly what that light was—it was the same force that had sliced Glasers in two!

Rein had caught up to them!

Egil tried desperately to dodge, but the suddenness of the attack combined with the narrow stone tunnel made a full evasion impossible.

'Shh!' His innate Defensive Witchcraft popped like a bubble. A line of blood instantly appeared across his right shoulder blade, nearly cleaving his body in two from the center.

"Ah!!!"

Egil screamed in agony as his right arm, still clutching the black crystal, fell to the floor.

Rein’s silhouette flickered into view nearby. Forced to abandon his severed limb and the Divine Power Crystal, Egil immediately activated a secret technique, transforming into a mass of black smoke that shot toward the cave exit like a severed octopus tentacle.

Rein prepared to give chase, but his eyes caught sight of the black crystal still held firmly by the severed hand. He let out a soft exclamation:

"Huh? Could this be... the Divine Power Crystal?"

Rein was filled with sudden delight at the find.

However, that brief moment of distraction allowed Pope Egil of the Sea God Sect to vanish without a trace.
