"Sixth Form!"
Just as the distance for melee combat closed, Rein’s frame expanded once more, reverting into his ancient dragon form!
"Roar!!!"
Jorgandman, consumed by agony and rage, had only finished half a cry when Rein, in his ancient dragon form, executed a sudden spin. He narrowly evaded the Leviathan Giant Whale, flashing past like a shadow. His freezing, luminous Dragon Claws tore a deep gash, half a meter into the adversary’s incredibly resilient hide!
"Sss!!!"
Even though Rein’s length was nearly sixty meters, a massive size disparity remained compared to the two-hundred-meter-long "Leviathan Giant Whale" Jorgandman. However, Rein did not intend to match him in raw power. Crucially, the opponent’s primary fin had been shredded, severely crippling its maneuverability.
Consequently, Rein, armed with his Dragon Claws, resembled a nimble weasel hunting a rabbit many times its bulk.
The agile and sturdy Dark Silver Dragon lunged and snapped around the "Leviathan Giant Whale," rapidly leaving Jorgandman riddled with injuries!
Elsewhere, the "Frostfire Flame" of Menia collided with the black water barrier of Nether Sea Goddess Hela, creating a breathtaking display.
Crimson, azure, and obsidian hues merged instantly, followed by a colossal surge of energy erupting vertically from the impact site, sending out circular shockwaves. For a moment, because the two energies were so highly concentrated, they did not detonate but instead pushed against one another.
In the sky, a beam of intertwined red and blue clashed violently with a curtain of black water!
Observing that the moment was right, the wounded Red Dragon Tasa beat his wings and hurried toward an opening in the blockade.
From the distance, Reginald’s eyes gleamed. His dragon partner, Ted, charged toward Red Dragon Tasa without needing a command, intending to intercept the pursuing Flying Fish Knight and Manta Knight.
"Oh? You think you can flee? Can you really?" Nether Sea Goddess Hela, while locked in combat with Menia, offered a faint smile and gestured toward the retreating Red Dragon Tasa.
Dozens of black water whirlpools materialized out of thin air, pursuing Tasa like homing projectiles from various trajectories.
"This is disastrous!"
Red Queen Menia had not anticipated that Nether Sea Goddess Hela could still effortlessly command Ancient Witchcraft against Tasa while under such pressure. Though Menia desperately wanted to intervene, she could not break away.
In the following heartbeat, seven or eight black water whirlpools slammed into the already critically wounded Tasa.
"Ang!!!"
As Tasa let out a scream of pure agony, the once-radiant red body was engulfed by black water. Large sections of his flesh began to rot and blacken, falling away in clumps.
"It appears I shall soon have a Nether Dragon serving me."
Taking in the sight, Nether Sea Goddess Hela blocked Menia’s rescue attempt and mocked her.
At this moment, the Sea God Sect’s Flying Fish Knight and Manta Knight, along with the high-rank Evil Sorcerer following Reginald, all grinned and lunged at the broken Red Dragon Tasa.
"Menia, see to it that my scales are forged into your staff, so my fire may burn your foes for eternity."
As Tasa spoke, a single red reverse scale fell toward Menia like a plunging star.
"No! Tasa!" Menia’s complexion drained of color, her composure shattering as she cried out in horror.
The next instant!
A second sun suddenly ignited over the ocean, its radiance instantly becoming a hundred times more blinding than the actual sun above.
Those closing in on Red Dragon Tasa to claim the spoils—the high-rank Sea God Sect Evil Sorcerer, the Flying Fish Knight, and the Manta Knight—raised their arms to protect their vision. Many turned pale with dread, attempting a frantic retreat.
But their efforts were futile.
The blast from Red Dragon Tasa’s self-destruction did more than just carve a massive crater into the sea; it disintegrated all the clustered enemies in the air into fine dust!
"Boom!!!"
As the powerful shockwave began to radiate outward, Rein, who was relentlessly battering the "Leviathan Giant Whale" Jorgandman, could not help but look up.
"Tasa self-destructed?" With a single look, the recognizable aura and Menia’s scream told Rein exactly what had occurred.
The Red Dragon Tasa, who had once gifted him a Dragon Scale, was gone forever.
Turning back, Rein glared at Jorgandman. His eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire.
For some reason, Jorgandman felt his heart tremble as he met Rein’s stoic gaze, as if sensing an impending catastrophe.
Indeed, Rein in his ancient dragon form darted toward Jorgandman’s wounded flank and dove straight inside!
"No! Stop!"
"Get out of there, Rein, move!"
The 'Leviathan Giant Whale' Jorgandman was paralyzed with fear. He could not comprehend why Rein would ignore the highly acidic secretions; was he truly prepared to die just to kill him?
Furthermore, why was his incredibly durable body being pierced so easily by his rival?
Doubts swirled in his mind.
Jorgandman felt as though a spinning blade was rampaging within him, tearing through his vitals!
In the face of such an assault, no amount of vitality could sustain him.
"No, this is bad! He is aiming for my head!"
As the agonizing pain drew closer to his forehead, Jorgandman’s fear took over, and he began to plead:
"I beg of you, Rein, if you come out now, I will depart immediately!"
"No! I was manipulated into fighting you, please forgive me..."
But before the plea could be finished, the Leviathan Giant Whale’s features froze. His face twisted into a very human expression of terror, defiance, and deep regret!
"Pfft!"
A dark silver dragon with a tarnished, almost rusty surface, erupted from the forehead of the 'Leviathan Giant Whale'!
Though Rein was protected by steel armor and dragon scales, his form was still scarred and pitted by the corrosive fluids inside the Leviathan Giant Whale.
Yet, Rein’s expression remained stoic, as if the damage to his body was of no consequence.
The massive Leviathan Giant Whale, stretching over two hundred meters, began to roll over slowly. Its pale gray underbelly was exposed, contrasting sharply with its dark blue skin.
Silently chanting a spell, Rein watched as the corrosive burns on his body began to heal rapidly. Damaged scales fell away, replaced by new ones that grew in to perfect his form.
A moment later!
He leaped from the water, turning his gaze toward the battle between Nether Sea Goddess Hela and Menia.
...
Simultaneously.
Miles behind the conflict, many Federation fishing vessels and merchant ships had noticed the violent upheaval in the ocean!
After all, the water pillars rising hundreds of meters high, the Whale Spring Spurt reaching across kilometers, and the clash of titans were visible even from a hundred miles away.
The ripples of energy traveled even further.
"This is bad! The Empire Delegation’s airship fleet is fighting a giant beast!"
A Federation Navy sailboat on coastal patrol passed nearby, and the lookout atop the mast cried out in panic.
As part of the Federation’s official forces, they were aware of the Empire Delegation’s arrival. Seeing the Imperial airships being downed one by one, he knew this was a crisis!
"What?!"
Hearing the lookout, a Federation Navy colonel in the bridge grabbed a brass telescope to see for himself.
Within his view were several Imperial airships, their designs a sharp contrast to Federation models. The dragon head emblems on their massive envelopes confirmed their origin.
"Send word to Zetaya’s Second Fleet Headquarters immediately. Report the situation, now!"
"Captain, isn't it a good thing if the Empire kills the beast for us?" the adjutant asked, confused.
"You idiot! If the Imperial fleet was winning, it wouldn't matter. But look at them falling—they are clearly losing!"
"I heard this delegation includes two Dragon Knights and an Epic-level warrior, led by the 'Red Queen' Menia herself. If even they are being crushed, imagine the power of their foe!"
"Besides, if the entire Empire Delegation is wiped out here, it will be a diplomatic nightmare!"
