Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1488 - 511: Ambush and Fury (Part 2)

Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
Panic strikes the Empire’s flagship as a massive whirlpool forms in the ocean below, signaling an ambush by the thought-to-be-extinct Leviathan Giant Whale. The ancient beast launches devastating high-pressure water columns from the sea, obliterating airships and forcing the fleet to desperately scramble for altitude. While Menia and Reginald engage the creature and its accompanying Sea God Sect knights atop their dragons, Rein remains on the flagship, sensing that this coordinated assault is far from over.

The Red Dragon Tasa, who had been soaring through the firmament and cutting down the Sea God Sect's flying knights, was suddenly ensnared by a surge of black water. This abrupt interference caused its flight speed to plummet.

Surfaced from the depths of the ocean, an old man wielding a black crystal wand appeared, flanked by several formidable evil sorcerers of the Sea God Sect.

This newcomer was none other than Egil, the Pope of the Sea God Sect!

"Your Highness, Red Queen Menia, though we meet for the first time, your reputation has long preceded you. Regrettably, this encounter may very well be our final one." The old man gave Menia a cunning look and remarked with a slight smile.

"Hmm? Where is that youth named Rein?" Egil scanned the sky and fixed his gaze upon Reginald, quickly realizing it wasn't Rein before questioning his whereabouts.

Then, as if realization had struck, he shifted his eyes toward the flagship of the Imperial airship hovering in the clouds.

"This is bad!"

Sensing the expression of a successful conspirator on Egil’s face, Rein immediately felt a premonition of disaster.

Without a moment's delay, he threw himself from the airship. In mid-air, he shifted into his fifth form—a massive dark silver dragon possessing a metallic sheen—and began a rapid descent.

At the same time, the conflict below shifted once more.

Upon seeing the Sea God Sect Pope arrive, Reginald directed his dragon partner, Ted, to move and assist Menia.

However, in an instant, a black beam the size of a fist erupted from the sea. Moving at nearly the speed of light, it tore through the Red Dragon Tasa’s protective ring of fire, pierced its belly, and exited through its back. The beam soared into the sky, passing less than a meter from Menia!

"Your Highness Menia!" Reginald shouted in alarm.

His dragon partner, Ted, pushed even harder to reach Menia’s side.

But the high-ranking wizards and evil sorcerers of the Sea God Sect, commanded by Pope Egil, unleashed a barrage of potent witchcraft and evil magic, forcing Reginald and Ted to retreat.

"What!" The elites aboard the Imperial airship cried out as they watched the scene unfold.

It was the very first time they had witnessed the Red Queen Menia suffer such a heavy blow.

"Ang!!!"

The Red Dragon Tasa let out a cry of agony. Had it not endured the pain to shift its body at the last second, that horrific black beam would have likely killed Menia as it passed through the dragon.

"Tsk tsk, how truly pathetic, you impolite Dragon offspring. Consider this a gift for your previous sneak attack on my avatar." At that moment, a seductive and beautiful figure rose slowly from the waves—it was the Nether Sea Goddess Hela.

The fact that a divine being would resort to an ambush left everyone in shock.

However, from her words, it appeared that the 'Red Queen' Menia had also ambushed her in the past.

Reginald, still commanding Ted, weathered several strikes from the Sea God Sect’s high-level evil sorcerers as he tried to reach Menia and Tasa.

But in the next heartbeat, Nether Sea Goddess Hela raised her pale hand. Dozens of black water vortices erupted like a tidal wave toward Reginald, forcing him to veer away once again.

Meanwhile, the 'Leviathan Giant Whale' Jorgandman lunged toward the injured Red Dragon Tasa, widening its blood-red maw to swallow them whole!

In a flash, 'Red Queen' Menia found herself in a lethal pincer movement between the Nether Sea Goddess Hela, the 'Leviathan Giant Whale' Jorgandman, and the Sea God Sect Pope!

Yet, even in the face of such despair, Menia made a decisive move. She fired a highly concentrated spiral beam of flame directly at the head of the lunging Leviathan.

It was the Dawn Killing Move—'Blazing Light Wave Cone'!

"Pfft!"

The piercing spiral flame beam shot through the Leviathan Giant Whale’s open mouth. It was a direct hit, but the beast only seemed momentarily dazed before resuming its charge toward Menia.

But Menia had already seized the brief moment she needed.

Her solemn, delicate face tightened as her slender body underwent a violent change. In the blink of an eye, a massive fiery red dragon, even larger than Tasa, appeared before the crowd.

"Oh? You are indeed a Dragon offspring, but to be forced into Dragon Vein Transformation so quickly suggests you have run out of tricks."

Unlike the stunned spectators, the Nether Sea Goddess Hela was not surprised. Instead, she let out a relaxed, mocking laugh.

Now in her dragon form, Menia gripped the faltering Tasa with her claws and beat her wings powerfully, narrowly escaping the Leviathan Giant Whale’s closing jaws!

But the Nether Sea Goddess Hela had been waiting for this exact moment.

Another black beam shot from Hela’s pale fingers, aimed directly at the transformed Menia.

The casting was nearly instantaneous and the timing was flawless, striking just as Menia’s initial momentum failed and before her new strength could gather.

Such is the dread of a divine incarnation; when power levels are comparable, once they seize the advantage, there is no room to turn the tide.

"Sigh!"

Suddenly!

A giant dark silver shadow plummeted from the heavens like a bolt of lightning. It appeared instantly in front of Menia and Tasa, intercepting the black beam with a dragon claw that pulsed with dark silver light.
