Luca successfully negotiated a settlement of 100 billion Star Coins with D-29, much to Xavier's amusement. This payment was partly compensation for a crime against dungeons, stemming from the discovery of a shard belonging to a dungeon core among the pirates. The group questions how this is possible and what the pirates intended to do with it, as they encounter more dungeon-related phenomena. The chapter ends with a system warning of unauthorized entry and hostile activity.
