Luo Yan and Shen Ji Yun finally consummate their relationship after a period of intense anticipation. Despite initial pain and discomfort, they navigate their first intimate experience together, finding pleasure and release. The chapter ends with them exhausted but content, sharing a moment of intimacy and humor.

LUO YAN woke up slowly. The first thing he noticed was the ache in his lower back, a deep, dull soreness that made him want to keep lying there. His thighs felt heavy and his hips stiff when he shifted slightly. There was a tender, raw feeling between his legs, not painful exactly, but sensitive enough to remind him of everything that had happened.

His muscles felt loose and tired, like they had been pushed past their usual limit. He let out a slow breath and opened his eyes. Sunlight was pushing through the curtains, and the room was bright. He turned his head. The space beside him was empty. Shen Ji Yun must be up already. Knowing him, he was probably making breakfast. He sat up slowly, wincing a little at the pull in his lower back.

He glanced down. He was wearing soft pajamas, and his skin felt clean. No sticky residue, no lingering mess. He felt refreshed, in a way, despite the soreness in his body. The sheets beneath him were also clean, the faint scent of detergent replacing the smell from the night before. Shen Ji Yun must have cleaned him up and changed the bedding while he slept.

He honestly couldn’t remember when Shen Ji Yun had done all that. After round two, everything became a blur. They had gone at it again, and again, moving from the bed to the floor, then against the wall, then back to the bed. If it weren’t so cold outside, they probably would have ended up on the balcony too. His memory was hazy. All he knew was that, right now, he was clean, dressed, and sore in ways he had never been before.

But at the memory of it all, Luo Yan’s face quickly heated up. Seriously, were they a pair of rabbits in heat? He was glad the villas here were spaced far apart, or their neighbors might have heard them. And to think last night had been both their first times. He buried his face in his hands for a moment, then let out a breath and stood up. Or at least he tried to.

The moment he tried to swing one leg out of the bed, a sharp ache shot through his lower back and down his thighs. He paused, teeth clenching. The muscles in his hips protested as he shifted his weight. He took a deep breath, then another, and slowly stretched one leg out, then the other. Once both feet were flat on the floor, he pushed up slowly, using his hands to steady himself on the edge of the bed. His legs wobbled for a second, and his back gave a dull throb. But he stayed upright, took another breath, and straightened himself as much as he could.

He was about to take a step when Shen Ji Yun walked in, carrying a tray of food. Their eyes met, and both of them went red. Whatever Luo Yan was thinking about, Shen Ji Yun was probably thinking the same thing. They stood there for a moment, neither of them knowing what to say, both of them too embarrassed to look away.

Shen Ji Yun walked over quickly and set the tray down on the bed. "Ah, Yan Yan, sit down. Are you feeling alright?"

Shen Ji Yun reached out and gently guided Luo Yan back to the bed, his movements careful, like he was afraid Luo Yan might break. Luo Yan saw the panic flickering in his eyes and smiled, letting himself be led back down without a word. He leaned back against the headboard, and Shen Ji Yun carefully tucked a pillow behind him, adjusting it until Luo Yan seemed satisfied.

Shen Ji Yun lifted the tray and placed it carefully on Luo Yan’s lap. "I made congee with shredded chicken and ginger," he said, his eyes dropping to the tray instead of meeting Luo Yan’s. "It’s supposed to be good for you. And there’s also a plate of pickled radish and some steamed greens." He gestured vaguely at the small plates. "I, uh, also boiled some herbs in the tea."

Luo Yan looked down at the tray. A clay pot of congee sat in the center, the broth thick and white with shredded chicken and ginger. Beside it, a small plate held pickled radish and another held steamed greens. A cup of tea sat off to the side. He looked up and found Shen Ji Yun watching him, waiting for his reaction. His cheeks were still pink.

"They look delicious," Luo Yan said with a smile. "Thank you, Brother Ji Yun."

Shen Ji Yun blinked and looked down. "I thought you were going to call me Ji Yun from now on..."

Even though Shen Ji Yun had only mumbled it, Luo Yan heard him. He chuckled and reached out, lifting Shen Ji Yun’s chin so he could meet his eyes. "Calling you Ji Yun is reserved for when we’re in the middle of certain... activities."

The moment Shen Ji Yun understood what Luo Yan meant, his entire face went red. The memories of last night came flooding back. He could feel the heat spreading up his neck, and if that wasn’t enough, his body started to react too. He felt himself growing hard against his will. He squeezed his eyes shut. What a horny bastard.

He stood up quickly before Luo Yan could notice the bulge in his pajama pants. "I-I’ll go get my breakfast, so we can eat together."

Luo Yan laughed as he watched Shen Ji Yun hurry out of the room. It was funny how he could still get that embarrassed when, just hours ago, he had nearly devoured Luo Yan whole. Part of him found it amusing. Another part found it endearing. How cute.

Shen Ji Yun came back quickly with another tray. He sat down across from Luo Yan. His tray had a simple sandwich and a glass of orange juice. Shen Ji Yun’s heart was still pounding. But he knew he had to say something before they started eating. He set his tray down and cleared his throat.

"Yan Yan, I’m sorry if I went too far last night. I should have been more careful with you. It was your first time, and I just... I couldn’t help myself and I just completely lost control."
