The six patriarchs were being held captive, and their only hope was for a Primordial to free them. However, an unexpected intervention by Kay, Danny, and Daniel turned the tables, forcing the Primordial into a desperate battle against these Supremes. Klaus offered a powerful incentive for them to succeed: an upgrade to Peak Celestial Supreme if they could defeat the Primordial. With their combined might and a strategic plan, the seven friends of Paragon advanced to face their formidable foe.

"Something isn’t right," Paragon muttered, frowning a bit.

The first Primordial is being handled by the Burning Angel. The second is being taken on by Old Man Zorvian, and the third is locked in deadly combat with Matthew.

Now, his seven male friends from Earth have also taken on the 4th Primordial and are determined to end her life using everything they have.

Though there is no guarantee they will succeed, Klaus knew they would be able to hold her back for a few more minutes.

He never expected these Primordials to appear, since in his books, only the six patriarchs would be here. Primordials are existences that the universe doesn’t allow to roam around just anyhow.

So, for four to appear, Klaus knew something was terribly wrong.

The only issue is that he doesn’t know where this nagging feeling keeps coming from.

Anytime he feels this way, something bad happens. Today, this feeling keeps coming, and he hates every last bit of it.

Turning slowly, he regarded the six patriarchs who were still holding on to their resolve while watching their men get slaughtered.

"Seriously, are you really just going to stand there and watch your men get slaughtered?" Paragon asked, clearly missing something concrete since it appeared these people were just too cold for his liking.

Aetherion opened his mouth and spoke, "Compared to what we are planning to stop, their deaths are meaningless. So don’t try to persuade us. One way or the other, we will stop you today."

Paragon frowned deeply, but then his gaze became cold.

"Then allow me to make something clear. If, for some reason, you losers break free and dare touch a single hair on the head of my people, then trust me, what you fear the most will come to pass."

Paragon looked toward Asura, who was almost 70% done with his Supreme Ascension. Every minute, he draws closer to his goal, and that is already enough to show the kind of power he will soon be unleashing.

Suddenly, a thought came to mind, and Paragon smiled.

He turned back to the patriarchs and said, "Oh, before I forget, you should know I know a part of my legacy is coming."

And there, the reaction Paragon was looking for appeared on their faces. This caused him to laugh out loud, which immediately reached thousands.

The six patriarchs frowned even more, but before they could say anything, Paragon added, "Try your best not to offend me, or else, trust me, you all will understand how deep my wrath goes."

Paragon laughed again, but his expression soon turned grim when the crack suddenly widened, and three people appeared.

He recognised one of them, but the other two, who were Primordials, were a mystery to him.

"Axarax, you bastard, so this was what you were doing all along," Paragon cursed at Axarax, or at least one of his many bodies. Just like him, Axarax also has many bodies. It was just that he would forever lose a body if he were to die in that body.

However, he makes up for his lack of resurrection by holding so much power that other Pseudo-Primordials wouldn’t dare boast about.

This was why his appearance immediately made Klaus wary. He immediately issued some commands while looking back at Axarax as if he were his mortal enemy.

Actually, he is indeed his mortal enemy.

"Paragon, do you really think I will let you off that easily?" he laughed, causing many to feel a chill run down their spines.

Paragon narrowed his eyes at him and asked, "Tell me something, Axarax, did the heavens come to you, or did you go to them?"

Axarax grinned but didn’t provide an answer. Instead, he looked toward Asura...

"I am here for a different mission, Paragon. I am here to prevent you from becoming a Supreme. I couldn’t care less about your Asura race." His gaze then shifted toward the Three Fates, and he added...

"However, if killing them will make you furious, then why not?"

"Get them," Axarax said to the two Primordials, and, like the wind, they vanished. The next time they appeared, they were only 200 meters from Queenie and the Three Fates.

One of them exploded forward, his sword stabbing toward Aster, while the second went for Kalynda.

"Not on my watch."

The power of death exploded, and an icy coldness instantly washed over everyone. Dark mist rose, and the Primordial who had lunged at Aster was swallowed by it.

CLANG

The sound of swords clashing against each other reverberated across the space.

FLUTTER

Then six pairs of wings opened from the mist, and that was when Lady Elysia, Klaus’s mother, was revealed.

She pushed back, and the Primordial was driven 300 meters away, shocking even Klaus, who never expected his mother to take on a Primordial.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the second Primordial came close to piercing Kalynda’s neck with his pointed spear.

However, before he could, a scythe came from nowhere and blocked his path.

"How shameless of you, sneaking up on your opponent." A man clad in crimson-and-green exo-metallic armour, his crimson hair billowing behind him, appeared out of thin air and grabbed the scythe.

Then he pushed back, and the Primordial was sent flying away, slamming into mountains far in the distance.

"Sorry I was late," Khthon, Asmodeus’s first-ever Primordial Undead, said, bowing toward Klaus. He had been away, adventuring in the Cosmic Sea for some time now.

However, since help was needed, he was pulled back to come to their aid in this unholy quest of battle, revenge, and reunion.

"Right on time, Khthon. Now, kindly handle that Primordial for us, please."

"But of course." Khthon vanished, and the next second, a deadly battle that seemed to further weaken the fabric of the universe began.

"You have some connections, Paragon, but is it enough to stop me?" Axarax said, and then he snapped his fingers, causing the crack to widen.

From within, more chaos beasts poured out. But along with them came seven more of his bodies.

Axarax laughed even more and turned to the six patriarchs. "I can free you, but in return, I want you to help me kill those women over there."

Axarax pointed at Klaus’s wives, and Klaus immediately frowned.
