Old Man Zorvian revealed himself to the six Patriarchs, not to help them escape, but to taunt them about their families' potential annihilation. He then informed Asura that the heavens intended to open the Chaos Rift and unleash Chaos Beasts upon the universe. Asura revealed that this was a foreseen event tied to his Asura race legacy. With the six Patriarchs trapped for an hour, Asura planned to use the brief window before their release and the Chaos Rift's opening to his advantage. He then began a live stream, announcing the return of the Chaos Beasts and falsely claiming the six Ancient Families were allied with him to defend the universe.

Now, the entire universe is watching, and they know the Seven Ancient Families have come to help them against the invasion of the Chaos Beasts.

Asura made sure they all became aware that, in truth, it was the most dangerous and perhaps daring thing a person could do. If he hadn’t done that, the Ancient Families would still hold the assumption that they controlled their own destinies.

But now that they are here and Asura has made sure their destiny leads somewhere else, they are left with the choice to either accept or reject.

If they accept, they would have no choice but to fight for Asura. But if they reject, the entire universe will hate them. Their image will be ruined, and that is not something they want.

Asura looked at them and grinned.

He knew what he had done, and even Old Man Zorvian hadn’t seen this coming. But now that they are here, they can only grit their teeth and endure.

"The ball is in your court. As to what you do with it, it depends entirely on you. Just know that the entire universe is watching, and while you may beat your chest and say you are the Ancient Families, know that having the entire universe hate you is the last thing you need.

This is coming from someone like me who has endured their hate for nine lifetimes. You do not want that for yourselves, your grandchildren, and their grandchildren."

CRACK

Just then, a third crack appeared in the sky, and the thickness of the Chaos Qi in the air also increased, causing everyone to tighten their hold on their weapons.

Asura looked at Queenie and the three Asura Keys, and he could tell they had already started opening the gateway by first opening their own nature as Asura Fates.

He gave them a slightly longer stare, then he focused his gaze away from them.

He looked at Miriam. "You will lead your sisters in this battle."

Miriam nodded. She is a War Goddess, so this battle falls right within her circle... "I will do my best."

Asura focused on Nadia and Asha next. "You two have no choice now but to unleash your true power. We are going to need all the help we can get."

Up in the sky, a fourth crack appeared.

Away from that, the warriors from the Zorvian Ancient Family started to appear. Unlike the other six families, who brought a little over 100,000 warriors each, Old Man Zorvian pulled out all his entire legion, numbering a little over 600,000.

He understood the assignment, and so he had no plans to mess around.

"Nadia, you also have to be extra careful since this is your first-ever battle where you will be fighting on the offensive," Asura warned, and Nadia, who had already drawn her bow, nodded.

With all her puppets now possessing demon spirits, all she needed was a mental command to control them. But that wouldn’t even be necessary since each puppet is an experienced warrior.

So rather than wasting her time on that, she had decided to fight with the bow and arrow.

"Rest assured, Lord Asura, Vlad and I will protect her," Faye said, and Asura nodded. He knew that with two Pseudo-Primordials protecting Nadia, she would indeed be fine.

After he made sure the rest of his wives were also fine and ready, Asura summoned the rest of his friends from the Ancient Battlefield.

Asmodeus appeared with a renewed spirit. Their first mission on the Ancient Battlefield was a success, and he had benefited greatly from it. Now, he wants to use those gains to win some more in this battle, too.

Klaus wants him here to build his strength, for with him, their numbers will only rise, not fall. The more they kill, the more he can temporarily awaken to fight back.

Kilian, Danny, Daniel, and the rest had also shown up.

When the six Ancient Family heads saw Akutaq and Yaxche, their eyes widened. Why? Because there used to be an 8th Ancient Family: the Blood Vampire Clan.

However, their numbers dwindled during the first major battle of the Primordial Era. It was against some people from outside this universe. Had it not been for them, perhaps the universe would have long fallen.

The few who survived fell during the Void War.

Akutaq, known as the Blood Sabre Vampire King, and Yaxche, the Blood Dagger Prince, were the most fearsome warriors of that era, and many knew them.

Never in their wildest dreams did they expect these two to still be alive.

Suddenly, a few more figures appeared.

Klaus, who had asked Love to protect Tasha, who was cultivating inside the Inheritance Tower, decided to personally come and oversee this battle.

Along with him, his other incarnations, except for Fruity, had shown up. Fruity is on his way to a remote planet somewhere in the Demon Universe to find the 5th Star Light.

So only Paragon (1st), Knox (2nd), Asura (3rd), Rhazor (5th), Orion (6th), Magnus (7th), and Klaus himself showed up.

Kaden is in the Elemental Garden, and Efad is undergoing the God Ascension Ceremony to become a god.

He had been in there for weeks now, so maybe he might just show up soon.

This is a major battle, and so he needs all the help he can get.

The fifth crack formed, and Klaus smiled, looking at his incarnations...

"Well then, let’s all put our game faces on and prepare to die."

Paragon smirked and turned away from him, directing his gaze at the six Ancient Family heads...

"What should we do with them?" Knox asked.

"Very simple, really. They have only one chance: to stay put. When the danger arrives, and their people start dying, they will have no choice but to form a Blood Oath with us. Then we will free them to save their lives.

Right now, the universe is watching, but they have no idea the six of them are in a cage," Paragon grinned, and the other incarnations smiled evilly.

The six patriarchs trembled in sheer fear, anger, and true fury.

"Come around, guys," Klaus said, calling his incarnations. He completely took his attention away from the six patriarchs

This time, they didn’t protest, which, in fact, showed real character development. In the past, Asura would have snorted and said something like, ’You don’t tell me what to do.’

However, today, perhaps understanding that things aren’t as simple as they look, he didn’t even make a sound. Naturally, Klaus was impressed by the level of understanding he had reached.

Perhaps the hivemind is working to make sure he doesn’t lose himself to his own ego.

"So here is the battle plan," Klaus began, assigning roles to his incarnations. "Asura, Rhazor, Magnus, and I will take the lead. Asura will fly solo since I think we both know he doesn’t need help."

Asura smirked and flicked his red hair, causing the rest of his incarnations to roll their eyes in contempt.

"Rhazor, you will lead the Calamity Legion with aid from your Calamity Beast Guards." Klaus snapped his finger, and six terrifying Celestials walked forward.

Amaru, the Forbidden Lava Dragon; Lyrius, the Grim Wolf Monarch; Thaneon, the Genesis Calamity Naga Emperor; Kaelor, the Deadly Blade Calamity Slayer Beetle; Zhilak, the Domain Devouring Calamity Ant Empress; and finally, Korvina, the Fourteen-Legged Calamity Ancient Demon Spider.

They were the six beasts Rhazor met when he went to the Dead World. For the past month, they had been with Orion, who, with Atomic and Icon aiding him, had turned them into powerful Celestials.

Rhazor nodded and waved at his pals, who also waved back.

Klaus then turned to his next incarnation. "Magnus, you will lead the Earth Beast Legion. They number only 14,000, so that should be simple for you, right?"

Magnus could only stare at Klaus and be like, "Bruh, we are the same person. What you can do, I can do better."

He just smirked and spun his spear, looking at the cracks in the sky.

Klaus said nothing aside from a smile that had appeared at the corner of his lips... "I, on the other hand, will be leading the Cavalry of Defiance."

As he said that, another portal opened, and the human warriors from Earth started walking out. They had been training on the moon with the Earth Beast Legion since after the Planet Awakening.

They’ve also received a boost, so the majority of them are Supremes, with a few Gods.

With them here, Klaus can finally breathe. It was after their breakthrough to the God Stage that he saw the majority of them were members of the original Cavalry of Defiance.

If the warriors he knew from the Divine Era are still in there somewhere, then this battle will finally show the universe what kind of warriors had once walked the path of death with the Divine Archer.

"As for the rest of you, just do what you think will push us to win. But Knox, stay close to Nadia."

The Divine Archer nodded and turned to look at the cracks in the sky. By now, the entire legion from the Zorvian Ancient Family had gathered and was ready to fight.

Just then, one of the cracks widened, and the large head of a lizard poked out.

From the side, Nari unleashed an arrow that went clean through. It slid through the crack and fell out, thudding on the ground.

The impact shook the entire forest.

However, it also told them one thing...

The Chaos Beasts are killable, and Nari had just proven that.
