The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1760: Fury Of The Foreign Race
Previously on The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse...
From the start of this battle, many shocking things happened.
From Asmodeus shamelessly unleashing 12 Pseudo-Primordials, each stronger than any of the Nine Deadly Omens and using them to beat up just two Pseudo-Primordials, to Kay sniping a target from 10 km away, to Matthew, Akutaq and Yaxche showing that a battle can be fought with only one side enduring all the beatings.
They all showed something shocking.
But that wasn’t all.
The scene changed to Kilian proving he could calculate everything from start to finish, even sacrificing one arm to win.
Asura also shocked people by demonstrating that his understanding of the Dao was far deeper than that of even a Pseudo-Primordial.
However, the most shocking part of today’s battle was the sight of the Omen of Despair surrendering to a mere God.
Klaus and his teammates had just killed 8 Pseudo-Primordials from the Foreign Race, which meant that from where everyone stood, it was a win for the universe.
However, to them, their biggest win was the sight of the Omen of Despair surrendering.
The Foreign Race had bullied, butchered and spat on their dead bodies for thousands of years. Through it all, they had endured and kept fighting with the hope that one day, they would win.
Yet as the years passed, they just kept getting pushed back, with the recent betrayal of the Celestial Supreme adding to their injuries.
Many left the Ancient Battlefield because of that betrayal.
However, in an unexpected turn of events, the Paragon and his small team of capable warriors had turned the tables and proved to everyone that the universe was still strong.
Many who had lost friends and loved ones to the blades of the Nine Deadly Omens had tears running down their faces, thankful to the Paragon and his team for avenging their loved ones.
Rhazor was even taken aback, but he recovered and smiled...
"Unlike your kind, who don’t accept surrender, my people and I have integrity, so I will not kill you. But after today, you will become a subordinate of the Undead Sovereign."
Rhazor waved his hand, and the gateway to the Undead Space opened. "Walk in and be grateful you have met us rather than somebody else."
The Omen of Despair nodded, and with a look of unwillingness and shame, she walked into the portal, and it closed behind her.
The live stream cut, bringing an end to the battle nobody thought the Paragon and his teammates would be able to walk away from.
Yet the winner in this ordeal was the Paragon, and that showed just what kind of monsters he and his team were.
Gpako, the Everlasting Blade Master, sighed, and then he tapped a button on his communicator. "Release the video to the rest of the universe. Show everyone that the Foreign Race is not unstoppable, as they have been led to believe."
Eshun, the Scarlet Fan Maiden, looked at her husband and nodded... "We may have misjudged him too harshly in the past. Seeing what he can do now, if he wanted us dead, it wouldn’t take an hour."
"Indeed. Good thing he and Ember are friends now. If not..." Gpako sighed, wiping an invisible sweat off his forehead.
Back on the battlefield, Rhazor scanned the battlefield, and then he took a deep breath.
"I suppose that is the last of them, huh?" Rhazor turned to Asura and asked.
"Yes, and that also brings an end to my stay here. I have to go become a king," Asura puffed out his chest, saying that.
Since the ladies were closing in on Chaos Cave, the place where the entrance to the miniature universe was located, it won’t be long before the Asura race returns to this universe.
The moment they returned, the Asura King was supposed to assume his role as their ruler, since they would need one.
"Whatever." Rhazor turned to Asmodeus. "How long before you can turn the remaining members of the Nine Deadly Omens into your undead?"
"Give me an hour."
"Good, hurry so we can leave this place. We have to go on more missions and kill more powerhouses to build your strength."
Asmodeus nodded and vanished into his undead space to ensure the seven other Omens were turned into his undead and ready to fight for him in their next mission.
Rhazor then walked to Kilian, Jason and Daniel, who were recuperating. Kilian had already reattached his severed arm, and he was healing the wounds on his skin.
Daniel, on the other hand, had also managed to heal his bones and could now move his limb, while Jason had healed the large cut on his chest.
"Great job, guys. After healing your injuries, replay the battle over and over again, spot the mistakes you made, and come up with what you could have done differently to achieve the best possible result.
In the next battle, only two of you will fight a Pseudo-Primordial if one appears, and before you become Celestials, as we have discussed, you each must face a Pseudo-Primordial alone and kill it."
Daniel wanted to say, "We are not you, Klaus," but then, knowing this was for their own good, he smiled and nodded. "We will rise to the occasion, Klaus."
"You better, or else don’t blame me when I send you into an ancient ruin, never to be heard from again."
He laughed and teleported away, leaving the three friends to sigh.
"I don’t know which is more dangerous, facing horrors in battle or being friends with the Paragon."
They laughed, happy to have the chance to grow stronger alongside a legend...
But while they were happy, all over the camps of the Foreign Race, every last one of them was pissed, thousands already on their way to hunt down the Paragon and his team at all costs.
The defeat this time was brutal, too brutal and humiliating for them not to want the ones responsible to pay.
Even the higher-ups, the true overlords of the Foreign Race, were all pissed, each willing to give anything to kill the Paragon and his team.
Unfortunately for them, the universe was still fighting back, and so sending out Primordials wasn’t possible, or was extremely difficult. The only way they could get to the Paragon was if he were to come closer to their territory.
Unfortunately for them, Klaus had no plans to come to them just yet. He wanted to push them back to the point where the lands they had claimed would once again become part of the universe.
But that didn’t mean they would ignore him and let him have his way.
If nine failed to kill him, they would send 18 and keep sending until he died.
