Klaus and his companions entered a flame garden where Ember revealed her flame element had reached the Extreme stage. Klaus learned of the grave threats facing the universe, including the Void Race and the Foreign Race. Ember pledged her Genesis Warriors' allegiance to Klaus and playfully offered her daughters' hands in marriage. Klaus then revealed Nyrela's past life as a Starlight who died tragically, a loss that profoundly affected him and sparked the Blood War.

In all nine lives he had lived, Klaus never once succeeded in saving any of the Starlights. They all died, some right before his eyes, while others he never even got to meet.

Hanna died during the Renegade Era by exploding her core to buy time for him and his mother to escape. In the end, his mother had to do the same. Luckily, he escaped successfully.

However, during the Blood Era, he met her, and they even conversed a few times. He had no idea who she was, just as she had no idea who Klaus was back then.

It was only then that he realized he had lost someone extremely important to him. She was the key to accessing one of the Paragon Stars, yet she died before he could get to know her.

That left a deep scar, leading him to go berserk during the Blood War.

The Heavens Court even regretted coming after him. But by then, it was already too late. He had killed close to a million warriors, sending the rest running with their tails tucked between their legs.

Naturally, it was after that battle that the Heavens Court finally came to the realization of just how dangerous the Paragon was. Never in their wildest dreams did they expect a single person to be that monstrous.

What they didn’t know was that their only victory was killing Nyrela before she could grant Klaus access to the Paragon Star to attempt apotheosis.

By killing her, they prevented Klaus from becoming a god. Now, he had reunited with her. All that was left was awakening her nature as a Paragon Starlight.

Very ironic that Klaus would have to awaken her so she, too, could awaken him. The moment she awakened, Asura could also enter the God Ascension Trial and become a god.

After hugging and consoling her for a few minutes, Nyrela finally managed to calm down. With her memories returned, the shyness she had felt was gone, replaced by the need to please her one true Asura God.

"Looks like you have become a decent warrior now, Nyrela," Klaus said, cupping her cheeks.

Seeing this, Ember replied, "It was all thanks to me. I made sure she didn’t slack off and actually focused on her training. So be sure to reward me accordingly once you are done with her."

Klaus laughed and nodded.

Many thought the Asura race was made up entirely of warriors. While 95% of them were warriors, they also included pacifists, and Nyrela was one of them.

She detests killing, but as an Asura, she never shies away from blood, unlike most pacifists.

Safe to say, when her life was threatened, she tasted blood, and for a moment, she regretted not training alongside her brother, who rose to become a Blood General.

If she had been strong, even a little bit, perhaps she wouldnt have died back then.

"I guess I learned my lesson from my past life. If I had been a bit stronger and more experienced, maybe I wouldn’t have died back then," she smiled, then asked, "Talking about death, you mentioned the Asura race still lives. were you tall the truth, or were you merely trying to scare the Heavens Court?"

"I was serious. The Asura race still lives, and very soon, they will return to the universe."

"Really? But how is that possible? The Heavens Court claimed they had completely eradicated the Asura race. Were they lying?" Nyrela asked, a bit confused.

Klaus just shook his head with amusement as he replied to her:

"To them, they had indeed eradicated the Asura race. However, the Asura Queen and I had already made provisions long before the attack came. We had already carried the life force of the Asura race to a pocket universe I found back then.

So while they died in this universe, their souls didn’t travel to the Underworld. Rather, they were taken there, where they created new physical bodies and have been living there ever since. The Asura Queen is still alive, and she is close to freeing them."

Nyrela clenched her fist, and for a moment, she hesitated to ask. But then she did, since she wanted to know, "How about big brother? Is he also part of the people who were transported to the pocket universe?"

She asked this because before she died, she saw her brother struck down. He was one of the few who came to save her from the Dark Order back then...

So there was a chance he died long before the Blood War.

However, Klaus smiled and answered, "Your brother is still alive. He fought in the Blood War and died with honor. Aside from that, he also avenged you by killing the bastards who killed you."

Nyrela let out a long sigh, one that showed just how happy she was to hear that her brother was still alive. Her parents died before she grew up, so it was her brother who raised her. Learning he was still alive was everything she wanted to hear.

"Relax, Nyrela. I am sure he will be happy to see you again. That said, you have to awaken, and since you are now a great warrior, I am sure you will become even more deadly once you awaken your Asura bloodline.

I will even raise your cultivation to the rank of a Supreme, so be prepared to become one of the deadliest Supremes in the universe."

"I am ready then," she said, jumping to her feet.

"Look at you, all happy to become an Asura. Aren’t you worried your grandparents would become mad at you?" Ember said, a teasing smile on her face.

She had no problem with having an Asura as her daughter, but her parents were still old-school, so they might take offense. Of course, she wasn’t worried about what they would do. After all, she was with the Paragon now.

But the relationship between them might sour, and knowing how much Nyrela loved her grandparents made her ask.

"Rest assured, Mom, Grandpa, and Grandma will come around when they meet my brother. Let me tell you, big brother is the strongest person in the entire universe... well, second strongest after Lord Asura. But he is my favorite Asura. Grandpa would probably not make a fuss, or else big brother will kick his butt," Nyrela laughed.

"Oh, now you want your brother to beat your grandpa. What an unruly granddaughter you are, Nyrela," Ember laughed, looking at her daughter, who seemed very happy.

Klaus smirked, knowing Ember was merely messing with Nyrela. He had plans to have a sit-down with those two old bags of bones and talk some sense into their heads.

So he knew they would come around soon.

"Just messing with you, Nyrela. I can tell you are happy, so go ahead. I will always be your mother, even if you become a demon."

Nyrela nodded and hugged her. "I love you, Mom."

"Love you too, kiddo. Now, I want to see you as a redhead. Hurry up and become an Asura already."

Nyrela laughed and nodded. Klaus waved his hand, and a golden drop of blood appeared.

"Just swallow this, and the process will start. It will take a couple of days to complete."

Nyrela nodded, then swallowed the blood. A few seconds later, her body released a wave of Blood Qi. Then a crimson mist stirred, and her body was soon cocooned.

It happened so fast that before Ember could panic, it was over.

"See you soon, Nyrela," Klaus said, slumping back into his chair.

Ember looked at the cocoon for a few seconds, then she also sat down, sliding back into Klaus’s arms.
