Klaus reunites with Nyrela, who he failed to save in all his past lives. He explains that the Asura race, believed to be eradicated, was secretly transported to a pocket universe by him and the Asura Queen. Nyrela learns her brother is alive and avenged her. Klaus then gives Nyrela a drop of his blood to begin her awakening process, cocooning her and starting her transformation into a powerful Asura.

Missing Klaus, despite there being no connection in the past, was a bit weird. But love at first sight is a thing, and Ember had most certainly been infected by it.

Her inner obsession with the Paragon had, in the past, left her disturbed for a very long time.

So now that Klaus was right by her side, she didn’t want to regret anything again. Even if he were to leave a few days from now and never return, she wanted to be able to say she was okay, for she had managed to spend some quality time with him.

But she knew that would never happen. Klaus would never leave her side, not when her daughter turned out to be someone very close to him and, from his own words, extremely important.

So she planned to spend all her time with him.

Seeing her cuddled in his arms, Klaus could only smile and shake his head.

He had found himself surrounded on all sides by powerful women, many of whom were his wives. Of course, while he hadn’t done it yet, he knew the ladies of the Caelmir Royal Family would soon join his harem.

But while that was meant to be, he also knew his harem would only continue to expand. After all, flames from past lives would eventually return to him, and all of them would want to be with him again.

So Ember wasn’t a shock to him. If anything, he was used to this kind of life.

Nyrela would become his woman, for despite their brief life together in the past, he knew that as his Starlight, they would share a much deeper connection, one that would bring them closer than ever.

So he would be around Ember more often. Helping her come to terms with her years of longing wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Of course, even if he felt this was wrong, considering she was Nyrela’s mother, Klaus wouldn’t deny having such a sinful body in his arms. Ember was gorgeous beyond measure.

Be it her figure from the back or the front, everything about her screamed attraction. Klaus might have seen women more beautiful than her, but in his heart, she was one of the most beautiful women he had met in this life.

So relaxing in a burning garden, having such a body pressed against his, surely was the dream any man would love to have...

"I wonder what your other daughters would say when they find out you were chummy with the Paragon," Klaus joked, using the moment to get to know more about Nyrela’s sisters.

From what he knew, they were powerful Celestials. But that was all he could learn about them, even with Icon’s assistance.

Ember smiled and raised her head, looking Klaus in the eye. "They don’t have time for themselves. I doubt they would have time to think about my personal life. But even if they did, so what? It isn’t like I am cheating on anyone by sleeping in your arms."

Klaus just chuckled, but he had to agree with her.

In this era, some cultures might still frown upon her being so chummy with someone after having three daughters, but in her view, she wasn’t doing anything wrong.

She had never married, so kids or not, she wasn’t cheating on anyone in a way that would warrant moral condemnation.

"I suppose you can do as you please then. Just don’t get too comfortable. I have a habit of making ladies lose themselves before they know it."

Ember smiled and lay her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

Klaus relaxed and, using the moment, checked a few things he still had left to do.

’After I leave here, I will go see Gorr’s daughter. Since her assistant is one of the Starlights, I had better awaken her before the Heavens Court gets their hands on her.’

He thought, but then another thought occurred to him.

’Though now that Axarax is here, I doubt his hold on the universe will be as strong as before. But to be on the safe side, I will get her, then travel to the Demon Universe for the other two living there. Within the next five years, I should reunite with all of them.’

He did some calculations and knew that if he moved fast enough, he would reunite with all his Starlights. Once that happened, all his incarnations could become gods, making it possible for him to become one as well.

’I should also go see that lady. It is about time she returns what she owes me. I just hope she doenst pester me to give her a child.’ Klaus’s thoughts soon started to wander.

However, he was snapped back to reality when Ember jumped to her feet, causing her breasts to bounce.

"I want to take you swimming in my hot spring. It contains Celestial Qi and the Elemental Laws, so I am sure you will love it."

Before Klaus could find an excuse, he found himself moving at a terrifying speed.

By the time he could come to terms with the speed at which he was traveling, he found himself standing before a small pond filled with reddish-gold water, exuding warm vapor.

The moment Klaus’s gaze fell on the pond, he sensed all kinds of Laws emanating from it. It was as if the water inside the pond had been formed from the Laws themselves.

Turning slightly, he saw Ember smiling back at him.

"This is my hot spring. It is a treasure I found on the last floor of a dungeon I cleared several years ago. It gathers the Laws around it and imbues them into the water.

Those privileged enough to swim inside can comprehend the Laws much faster and more easily."

Klaus was shaken for a moment, but when Ember unhooked her gown, causing it to slide off her body, his thoughts moved away from the hot spring and onto the breasts staring at him.

Ember was now wearing only a thin pair of pants, with no bra. Before Klaus could stare too much, she jumped into the hot spring and started bathing.

"Don’t just stand there. Get in and have some fun while you still have the chance."

Klaus, who knew this was his chance to comprehend the Ice Law, wasted no time undressing before jumping into the pool of warm water.

The moment his skin touched the water, the first message appeared.

[Your understanding of the Elemental Laws has improved slightly.]

Klaus sank to the bottom, and when he surfaced, he saw the second message.

[Your understanding of the Elemental Laws has improved slightly.]

’Looks like comprehending them all at the same time will take time. In that case, I will focus only on the Ice Law for now.’

He gave the command to Icon, who blocked the other elemental Laws, allowing only the Ice Law to absorb the energy.

As expected, his progress picked up.

[Your understanding of the Ice Law has improved greatly.]

"So, what do you think?" Ember’s voice reached Klaus from behind, causing him to turn and look at her. When his gaze landed on her firm breasts pressed against the surface of the water, his heart skipped a beat.

But he controlled himself and answered, "Better than I had hoped. But I am afraid I might just exhaust your hot spring if I continue cultivating here."

"I don’t mind, as long as you are willing to compensate me." Ember moved closer and placed her hands on his shoulders, causing her breasts to press against Klaus’s chest...

"Swim with me, Klaus. I want to spend some time with you."
