Klaus reunites with an old friend, the formidable Blood Sabre Vampire King, Akutaq, who saved him and others in the past. Akutaq, revealed to be even stronger than the Paragon during the Primordial Era, expresses his disgust for his son, the Celestial Supreme, who conspired with Axarax. As Klaus recounts past betrayals and current threats, Gorr's cocoon cracks, releasing a colorless aura and revealing a demon wielding the Necrosword.

A brilliant light flashed across the sky, carrying a deadly intent with it. Wherever this light passed, the colour drained away, turning everything into a grey hue.

Thousands of heads, both human and beast, flew into the air.

All around, thousands continued to die. The defenders of the Primus Universe fought to save their home, while the invaders, led by the Seven Void Generals, did everything in their power to dominate the universe at all costs.

Taking a deep breath, a demon with green horns and red eyes brandished his weapon, a sword devoid of colour.

He looked into the distance, where a redhead with the cultivation base of a Demigod stood against a Pseudo-Primordial, his back straight and determination etched across his face.

It takes a lot of courage and abnormality for a Demigod to even stand against a god, so for this person to be contending against a Pseudo-Primordial who had already sustained grave injuries, it had to be said that he was indeed an anomaly.

For a moment, the green-horned demon allowed himself to smile. "Big Brother Paragon always raises the bar so high."

He looked at his sword, whose blade flowed with liquid metal. Just looking at the nano-like particles coursing across it, he smiled and said,

"Too bad you still haven’t accepted me as your master, Necrosword. But that is also nice. Being able to fight even when I have no talent whatsoever is good enough for me."

He looked ahead and saw a few others also holding back the other Pseudo-Primordials. Suddenly, one of the Pseudo-Primordials broke free and lunged at the Paragon.

The green-horned demon narrowed his eyes, then lunged forward. In that instant, the sword spoke to him in a straightforward, unfiltered tone.

"You are not his match... You will die."

The green-horned demon smiled. "I know. But I will take him down with me," he laughed, and then clashed with the Pseudo-Primordial.

The sword spoke again.

"You are reckless, Gordon."

"I know, but that was why I got to wield you first. Someone with a calm and composed mind cannot wield a calamity like you."

Gordon could have sworn he heard a chuckle from the sword, but a spear made of bone struck his chest, sending waves of pain through his body, so he didn’t dwell on it.

"Too bad you have no Spiritual Vein, Gordon. You and I would have been a great match."

Gordon spat out a mouthful of blood and replied, "It is indeed unfortunate. But we can at least kill this bastard before I perish. Maybe one day, we will meet again, and hopefully, I will meet your requirements, Necrosword."

"Perhaps."

The demonic man Gordon faced was one of the Void Generals sent by the true mastermind behind this invasion to kill the Paragon. He pointed his bony arm at Gordon and threatened,

"Bug, you dare block me, the mighty Void General Sauron. Are you courting death?"

Gordon smiled. "Death is but a moment of rest, so what if I am? Are you saying you are afraid of me?" He smiled and pointed the Necrosword at the Void General. "I don’t have much time, so why don’t we get this over with? My sword needs your soul, you see."

They clashed, and ten minutes later, Gordon lay broken and battered on the ground, a bloody smile on his face.

"Ahh, what a chaotic day to die," he said before coughing.

Not far from him, the Void General lay dead, the Necrosword sticking out of his head.

Gordon turned slightly and, using the corner of his eye, looked at his sword as it absorbed the soul of the Void General.

"See you in a minute, buddy."

Klaus looked at Gorr hanging from chains, and scenes of seeing Gordon lying dead on the ground during the Grim Void War flashed through his mind.

His eyes turned red, then a deadly scythe materialised before him. He grabbed it, and boom, waves of blood intent exploded from his body.

He pointed his scythe at the demon holding the sword. This demon was, of course, Sauron, the Void General whom the Necrosword had absorbed during the Primordial Era.

"I hate it when weapon spirits rebel," Klaus said coldly, his emotions running wild.

"It is you, the Paragon," Sauron said, looking coldly at Klaus as well. "I was meant to kill you during the Primordial Era but failed because of this sword. Now, I will fulfil that."

"Is that so?" Klaus took one step forward, shattering the ground beneath his feet. The space around him started to resonate with the Dao of Blood and Fire.

Now that one part of him had become a god and awakened a Dao, he could also wield it, albeit not as proficiently as Rhazor could.

But that was enough to handle this bastard.

"We shall see if you have the means to kill me."

Klaus moved with deadly speed, and for ten minutes, a fierce battle raged, leaving Klaus injured in several places.

However, while he still stood, Sauron was on his knees, shock riddling his face.

"Next time you want to kill me, don’t do it inside a sword I created. That said, you are now going to die and become a weapon spirit, so I guess this is where your journey ends."

"This is not over, Paragon. You may have won against me, but there are more like me, and even more terrifying ones are coming. When they get here, you will finally see what despair is."

Klaus smiled. "But you won’t be here to aid them. Rather, you will become the weapon spirit that empowers the sword of the God Butcher, aiding in the slaughter of your own kind."

A chuckle escaped Klaus’s lips. "You will kill your own people, so die knowing you are the biggest traitor of the Void Race."

Sauron turned pale, his face filled with extreme anger.

However, before he could say anything, the scythe moved, and Sauron lost his head.

Just then, the chains binding Gorr shattered, and he dropped from the air, landing on the ground. He rose to his feet and looked at Klaus.

"So it had been you all along, huh, Gordon," Klaus said, looking happily at the colourless man before him.

"I also only recently recalled my memories. But it is good to see you again, Big Brother. I couldn’t say my goodbyes back then due to how chaotic the battle was."

Klaus smirked and patted him on the shoulder. "Glad to see you again, Gorr. For now, complete your awakening. We will catch up afterwards."

Klaus extended his hand, and the Necrosword flew toward him. He grabbed it by the hilt and examined it. Then he turned and handed it over to Gorr.

"I guess you two were always meant to be together, so take it and complete the awakening."

Gorr received the sword, and Klaus felt a pull.

A few seconds later, he was back in the royal garden, startling his friends.

Yasmi quickly approached him and cast a healing spell on him. She is one of the best healers to come from Earth, so the wounds on Klaus’s body quickly started to heal.

Just then, the cocoon cracked, and Gorr, holding the Necrosword, was revealed.

Seeing one of his friends finish his awakening, Klaus smiled.
