The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1639: Killing The Endless Vine Forest

Rhazor’s grudge against the Endless Vine Forest clearly ran deep. He had suffered there for quite some time, and now he planned to make sure it was completely destroyed before leaving.

Thankfully, he was now a god with overwhelmingly powerful abilities. Aside from that, he had six Universal Gods with powerful bloodlines serving as his guards.

On top of that, he had four Primordial Flame Spirits by his side and the Primordial Lotus of Destruction as one of his greatest trump cards.

Basically, he was an entirely different existence now, and he intended to make sure the forest that had tormented him was reduced to nothing before he left to face the people waiting for him outside the planet.

It took them just a little over four hours to arrive within one kilometer of the Endless Vine Forest.

The moment they appeared, Rhazor saw that thousands of Gods and Demigods, each with hollow expressions, had blocked their path.

"So it knew we were coming, huh?" Rhazor smirked before turning to his six guards. "Handle these insects. I will head inside and take care of the main threat."

They nodded before charging straight into battle. Every one of the Six Calamity Guards was strong enough to contend with even True Supremes, so against a mere army of Gods and Demigods, it was no different from a leisurely slaughter.

Rhazor moved, and in no time, he was deep within the forest, his expression calm as he advanced through the thousands of vines that lashed out at him from every direction.

This time, instead of dodging, Rhazor merely created a translucent red shield around his body. Every vine that touched it was instantly reduced to ash, so, almost like he lacked a sense of direction, he simply continued moving at an astonishing speed that left the entire forest trembling.

Along the way, many vine humanoids like those from before launched attacks against him, but with nothing more than a casual flick of his finger, Rhazor either blasted them away or incinerated them on the spot.

Perhaps realizing that the annoying human who had once destroyed a large portion of the forest had returned, the Endless Vine Forest decided to go all out and make sure he died this time around.

However, thirty minutes later, the entire forest trembled violently when Rhazor landed heavily on the ground.

"It would be in your best judgment to better come out and face me, or else I will burn this forest to the ground, killing you and everything within it."

Of course, that had been his plan from the very beginning, but Rhazor wanted to see if he could force his opponent to reveal herself.

In the end, he failed.

So he took a deep breath before extending his hand and summoning the Primordial Lotus of Destruction.

The moment the lotus appeared, the entire forest was overwhelmed by a sickening sense of dread as an ocean of flames engulfed the two-hundred-meter radius around Rhazor.

Deep within the forest, the woman who had sent the attackers after Rhazor trembled violently before rising to her feet.

However, she was already too late to act, for Rhazor had made his move.

With a wave of his hand, all the petals carrying the perfect harmony version of his four forbidden flames detached themselves from the lotus and shot toward four different directions.

A few seconds later, four devastating explosions erupted across the forest, causing a painful scream to echo from its deepest regions.

"So you do know how to scream, huh?"

He extended his other hand, and a sphere of flames formed from the perfect fusion of all four forbidden elements.

Before throwing it, Rhazor compressed it repeatedly with his mind until it became no larger than a marble. Then, with nothing more than a flick of his finger, he launched it, causing it to vanish into the distance.

BOOOOOOM!

The explosion was so violent that the shockwave it produced spread across the entire planet, sending chills down the spines of everyone who felt it.

"Maybe I should add a bit of Dao Essence," he muttered.

However, before Rhazor could make his next move, he saw a pale figure appear in the air before him and shoot forward, her hand transforming into a spear.

"DIE, INSECT!"

"Oh?" Rhazor raised a brow, and just as the spear reached him, he lifted his index and middle fingers, catching the tip of the spear between them.

"Not impressed."

He smirked before flicking his hand, sending the woman flying several kilometers backward, where she landed heavily on the ground.

She was back in the air the next second, this time transforming part of her body into a bow. Then thousands of arrows were unleashed, and Rhazor found himself facing a deadly barrage.

However, instead of panicking, he merely raised his hand and snapped his fingers, erecting a dome of fire around his body.

The moment the arrows struck it, they were reduced to ash, leaving the humanoid form of the Endless Vine Forest in shock.

"You’ll have to put some effort into your attacks if you want me to take you seriously," Rhazor said before stomping on the ground, causing countless cracks to spread across the earth.

The moment the cracks formed, an overwhelming heat surged upward, and the next instant, the entire ground exploded open, exposing a vast sea of lava.

"Lava Pool Uprising."

The forest trembled violently, and from the molten earth, thousands of weapons forged from lava erupted into the sky, reducing the already burning forest to little more than a wasteland.

Seeing this, the Endless Vine Forest screamed and tapped into her Supreme Qi. However, even after channeling thousands of years’ worth of Supreme Qi, her attacks were all blocked by the flame dome.

She continued attacking relentlessly, making sure each strike was stronger than the last. However, after exhausting herself without managing to kill Rhazor, she dropped to her knees and began gasping for breath.

"It is truly a pity. If you were a true Dao Tree, I wouldn’t dare kill you even though you had wronged me. However, you are an abomination, and allowing you to attain Celestialhood or awaken your Dao would be the most dangerous mistake I could ever make.

"So die, knowing that somewhere out there, the true Endless Vine Forest still lives."

Rhazor summoned his sword, and with a single swing, he unleashed a thin black arc that severed the Endless Vine Forest in half before continuing onward, splitting the entire forest into two.

The arc traveled far beyond the Endless Vine Forest, causing everyone who witnessed it to wonder which terrifying expert had unleashed such an attack.

Rhazor simply sheathed his sword and, with a casual gesture, drew over the core that had emerged from the dead Endless Vine Forest before storing it inside his space ring.

A few seconds later, he appeared beside his six guards, who had already completed their tasks. They stared silently at the burning, withering forest for a few moments before Rhazor crushed the teleportation token.

A few minutes later, he was teleported away, appearing on the moon, where thousands of experts instantly locked their eyes onto him.
