Empress Korvaxa faces the infuriating news that the Renegade Hunter, Klaus, has charged into the Sylvaris Planetary System alone. Despite her anger and concern for her people, Klaus unleashes his power, summoning thousands of spirit weapons and a terrifying blood-red domain. He effortlessly slaughters his enemies, including powerful demons, while his weapon spirit, Bloodwork, revels in the carnage. Even a devastating arrow attack is blocked by the weapon Seraya, who then eliminates the attackers, leaving the Ebon Sovereign terrified and awaiting Klaus, now known as the Blood Sovereign.

Klaus’s relentless assault had reached its peak when, all over the battlefield, blood started to flow like a river. Bloodwork was only absorbing the purest form of it, so the rest had already started to run freely across the landscape, painting it in its crimson radiance.

Aside from that, Klaus, who knew his life would soon become thanks to the summoning from the Celestial Supreme, decided to use today to show the universe what he was capable of.

So, he unleashed over 100,000 spirit weapons, which isn’t even his limit, creating a domain of weapons around himself and the demons. The entire sky was covered in weapons of all shapes and sizes.

Along the way, some demons tried to run, but they were met with deadly weapons that not even the demigods could escape from. He wasn’t holding back his Spirit Master class at all.

Thousands of demons had died, and the remaining ones had already lost the will to live. But to save face, they continued to fight, knowing what awaited them was death.

All over the universe, those watching could only sigh in their hearts, knowing that if Klaus were allowed to grow, the universe would, in no time, welcome a powerful protector.

Many are happy to have someone like him on the righteous faction.

Of course, his enemies were also plotting in the background to have him killed since they believed he would become a threat to them one day.

Regardless, they could only watch for now.

The Celestial Supreme, who had been informed of Klaus’s decision when he summoned him, could only watch with an amused expression.

Initially, when he was told that Klaus had a mission and planned to complete it before coming, he was pissed. However, knowing that Klaus would soon become a vessel for his master, he let himself be happy.

In his eyes, all that Klaus was showing would soon become his master’s power to command.

"Have all the fun you want, Renegade Hunter. Soon, you will be no more, and my master will take all that you have won and make it his," he laughed, thoroughly amused.

Seeing Klaus kill a demigod-level demon and kick another flying back, he became even happier. "This universe had been too peaceful.

If I hadn’t aided my master in opening the door for the foreign race to invade us, I am sure none of these people would have even taken the Heavens Court seriously.

However, with a threat hanging over their heads now, they can only rely on me. Once my master arrives and unleashes his attack on the foreign race, they will finally accept him, which will give us what we want—loyalty that will make everyone listen to what we say."

He grinned. "Paragon, you have tried every era to save this universe from us, but failed. This time around, it won’t only be your loved ones who pay for your stupidity; your existence will end in this era. It is my time for me to shine brighter than I am even now."

The Celestial Supreme laughed, unaware that one of the 13,423 spider drawings on the wall had been replaced by a sentient bot, one that had been capturing all his private conversations for the past year.

In fact, if he had paid more attention to his own clothing, he would have seen that some of the buttons were much looser than they were supposed to be.

But then again, the wicked always fail to notice when their lives are in danger.

The Celestial Supreme believed that he and Axarax, the mysterious man in the void, were destined to rule side by side. To him, the foreign race was merely a stepping stone for his master to gain the trust of the entire universe.

Clearly, the Parasite had deceived him, just as he had deceived many in the past. But even if he learned that he had been deceived, the Celestial Supreme wouldn’t mind. To him, as long as he gained power, he wouldn’t care what happened to the rest of the universe.

So, he was working to make Axarax’s dreams come true and, in a way, his own as well.

"Have your fun, Renegade Hunter. It will be over soon."

Klaus, who had just cut down a demon, felt a chill run down his spine. However, a few seconds later, he recovered and continued to kill his way across the battlefield.

In no time, only 400 demons remained, all of them demigods.

Klaus paused and looked at them before smiling. "Well, I didn’t know demons had gotten this soft. I wonder why the righteous faction still failed to eradicate you, bastards."

Klaus hated demons, but not all of them. He only hated the demon faction that believed they could rule the universe in their own way. They believed they were better than everyone else, so they deserved to have it all.

"I expected a good challenge, but it appears I have nothing to worry about now," he laughed.

After fixing all his flaws and cultivating the fourth form of the Heaven-Defying Body, his true power had already surged beyond what he could measure.

Of course, with his overflowing strength now, the crazy side of him decided to use this battle to see if he was truly the man he believed himself to be, or die trying.

Well, to be honest, he knew he wouldn’t die even if he wanted to.

Killing him wouldn’t be the end of him. Even if a threat far deadlier appeared, he only needed to slip into the void for a moment to establish a link with his wives or legion before vanishing.

Seraya was also around, so he had a Supreme on his side.

"Please don’t kill us," one of the demigods pleaded, but he was met with a kick from the Ebon Sovereign.

"Bastard, do you want to rebel against the demon race? Do you dare rebel against Lord Mordrika?"

The demigod tried to speak, but no words came out. Seeing this, Klaus grinned and spoke to the Ebon Sovereign.

"You know, I initially wanted to keep you alive because I believe your domain is a good one. However, I suppose killing you now would be doing the universe a favor." Klaus extended his hand and pointed his scythe at the bastard.

"Your death would be fun, don’t you think?"

To Klaus’s surprise, the Ebon Sovereign laughed before putting on a smug expression on his face.

"Easy for you to say, I suppose. But can the same be said for the defenseless long ears who are now at the mercy of 1,000 of my men?"

He laughed out loud, making it clear that even if he died, the people Klaus had come to rescue would perish with him. The majority of them were miners, so fighting wasn’t something they did.

The warriors and guards had already been killed, so by the time Klaus finished them off and reached the miners, many would already have perished.

He had that much leverage over Klaus’s head.

"You have just one choice here, human. You either let us go, or we will kill them, and we will die knowing the elves you came to save died with us." The Ebon Sovereign grinned.

"So what do you think, Renegade Hunter? Are you going to be the hunter who chooses his ego over the lives of the innocent, or the one who chooses the path that preserves life, as you humans used to say?"

Everyone watching held their breath, knowing this was the moment that would determine the kind of person Klaus really was.

If he let the demons go to save the people, many would admire him. But if he killed the demons and the people died, he would be hated by all.

Either way, it was a win-win situation for the demons and himself, depending on the choice he made.

A grin formed at the corner of Klaus’ face, then he smiled, "But who said the people are in danger?"
