Levi establishes a new base in Jasmine's territory, which gains a mysterious reputation. He races against time to free the Omnithar Genie, struggling with emotional detachment. Finding a potential solution, Levi decides to use his Sun Soul to communicate with the Genie, despite the risks of corruption.
Even the typically stoic Omnithar Genie couldn't suppress a flicker of surprise at Levi’s dramatic transformation. It recognized the authenticity of Levi's change; a Radian's commanding presence was not something that could be mimicked, only inherited. As Levi was inherently a half-Radian, his current haughty demeanor seemed as natural as his original one. Nevertheless, the Omnithar Genie proceeded with the arrangement. Faced with the prospect of liberation, the Genie cared little if Levi carried the bloodline of its captors. It attuned itself to Levi's melodies, employing the Valence Cipher to meticulously control its emotional responses. Sending a cascading series of mixed emotional signals like coded messages, it achieved perfect modulation. Since Levi was in his Sun Form, the intensity of these signals did not burden him. Instead, he observed the fluctuating wavelengths on his display, translating them into code with an unchanging expression. Initially, a prolonged, wavering wave of Nostalgia emerged, immediately followed by an intense surge of Zeal. When combined with three additional emotions, the complete message became clear. 'The Wish...' Levi mentally noted. With a slight inclination of his head, the Genie transmitted a peculiar blend of Awe and Dread, which represented a blueprint for a physical alteration. "You intend to alter your physical form?" Levi inquired for confirmation, utilizing his ability to communicate conventionally. The Genie conveyed its assent through a long, steady wave of Serenity, capped by a rapid pulse of Panic. After ten more distinct signals, three words materialized in Levi's consciousness. the coded message stated. Levi furrowed his brow in perplexity, struggling to grasp the Genie's logical progression. It had first alluded to a wish, then a transformation linked to Iithorien Inscriptions. It felt more like a complex cipher. Yet, Levi understood that he had yet to reveal the crucial element concerning this entire predicament... "How does this pertain to the Lantern?" he demanded sternly. The Genie promptly transmitted a confluence of emotional wavelengths, culminating in the phrase: Merge... Become the Technique. 'Become the Technique?' Levi pondered for a moment before an epiphany struck him. The pieces clicked into place simultaneously. He finally grasped that the Genie desired him to use the wish to transmute itself into abstract Iithorien inscriptions capable of integration with the Lantern's own inscriptions!!! "This... is incredible," Ash’Kral remarked, raising an eyebrow in astonishment. "It actually has a viable plan!" "What do you mean?" The Titan pondered, as this situation lay outside his area of expertise. Even Levi maintained his silence, too proud to betray his lack of understanding. While he might have deciphered the Genie’s request, the precise mechanics of its execution remained elusive. "If the Genie transforms into these inscriptions and merges with the Lantern, it will become an integral part of the technique itself... I recall hearing that, according to universal laws, no one can perceive the contents of the Unburdened Warden’s Lantern except its owner," Ash’Kral explained. "If our hypothesis regarding your Lantern is accurate, then those same laws would apply. In simpler terms... should the wish succeed, the Genie would effectively become invisible to the system, Nocturn’s Administration, and even the Higher Authorities!" Levi modulated his tune, falling silent as his golden tattoos pulsed with light. Despite the pride of his Sun Soul, he had to concede the plan’s brilliance, assuming the Genie’s word was truthful. 'Is such a wish even feasible?' he pondered. 'Assuming it works, won't the system immediately identify me as the perpetrator behind its disappearance?' Levi considered making such a wish a monumental risk. He lacked precise knowledge of the system's inner workings, as that information was not publicly available, but logically, it should monitor all Genie wishes across every platform. Meanwhile, the Genie concluded its message with a profound sense of Resignation, followed by a faint, hopeful pulse of Desperation. When interwoven with other emotions, the decoded message read: Upon receiving this assurance, Levi could not claim complete satisfaction. He could sense the Genie was not deceiving him, as it stood to gain nothing by orchestrating a scenario that would lead to them both facing severe repercussions. After all, if Levi were apprehended, the Omnithar Genie would not escape consequence... he could only conjecture the severity of the impending punishment. He understood that the system would likely make an example of it, thereby crushing any lingering hope of freedom among the other Genies. Nevertheless... Levi harbored no intention of gambling his existence on the Genie’s assurances. The sole entity capable of corroborating the Genie’s claim was Ash’Kral. 'What is your assessment?' Ash’Kral stroked his chin thoughtfully, delving into his extensive repository of memories to find any information supporting the Genie’s assertion. After a brief pause, Ash’Kral’s eyebrows rose in surprise. 'The Omnithar is relying on the system's automated processes for the plan's successful execution,' Ash’Kral revealed, his expression grave. 'Explain?' the Titan inquired. 'In what manner?'

'In the nascent stages of the CRS Platform's establishment, manual operations were the norm for Nocturn’s Administration... everything was new and chaotic, riddled with countless flaws and emerging issues with every passing second.'

Levi and the Titan exchanged understanding nods... commencing either the Nocturnal Ring or the CRS Platform in their infancy must have been an arduous task.

With no prior knowledge, the establishment of these two platforms was driven by the intent of structuring an eternal conflict, signifying their permanence. This reality compelled universal adaptation and acceptance, transforming them into ingrained cultural norms.

'As time progressed and clarity emerged... Nocturn’s System materialized,' Ash’Kral stated placidly. 'Envision it as a dimensional automaton, birthed from a comprehensive rule library designed to govern both platforms. It adheres to Nocturn’s directives and oversees even the Four Murinori Clans should they transgress the laws set by their creator... once activated, both Platforms adopted a systematic structure, governed by a strict set of regulations that ensured efficiency and order: encompassing network operations, dimensional gates, disciplinary actions, rewards, the assimilation of new games, streaming rights, Genie protocols, your dimensional profiles, rooms, AI, and more... all fall under the purview of this dimensional entity, which is operated by the Murinori and the Administration within defined authority limits.'

Ash’Kral paused briefly.

'Without it, the platforms' success would have been significantly diminished, even with the tireless efforts of Nocturn’s Administration.'

'I comprehend...'

Levi mused, stroking his chin. He possessed some familiarity with Nocturn’s System but had never conceived of it as a living entity.

After all, its designation was simply 'the System'! Yet, given Nocturn’s peculiar nature, it seemed fitting.

'However, this exceptionally capable and knowledgeable being harbors a critical vulnerability,' Ash’Kral revealed with a sly grin. 'It responds solely to pre-established rules and documented loopholes... it does not act autonomously.'

Upon hearing this, the brilliance of Levi’s tattoos momentarily flickered before intensifying once more... a sensation akin to a heart palpitation for Radians.

He instantly grasped the Genie’s implication: the system would remain oblivious to its disappearance if their plan proceeded... this was because no one had ever conceived of a Genie transforming into Iithorien inscriptions and integrating with a technique safeguarded by universal law!

For, outside of them and... Levi! No one in the universe possessed the genuine Unburdened Warden Lanterns!

This unprecedented circumstance was precisely the catalyst for the Omnithar to attempt an escape from its constraints, recognizing this as a truly once-in-a-trillion-years opportunity.

'Given the system's unfailing reliability over eons, the Nocturn’s Administration would never detect any anomaly... with one exception,' Ash’Kral declared, 'Nocturn itself.'
