The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2386 The limit of the Third Realm

The cosmic death in the form of a purple cannon plummeted from above—only for it to disappear right into the left eye of the Scarlet King.
A hush fell over the shadowy metropolis.
The surviving pair of Curse Eaters remained rooted in place, stunned beyond belief. Reason insisted their strike couldn't just disappear that way, yet what they witnessed was undeniable truth.
A faint pop resounded amid the wreckage as Cain's left eye burst open in a gush of crimson, with the right following suit mere moments after. This abrupt ruin filled their thoughts with a dark wave of triumph.
Yet prior to any celebration from them, a broad grin stretched over the gore-drenched visage of the Scarlet King.
Victory was his.
Bako's gaze bulged wide when the force he'd released surged back right before his torso. That redirected might detonated with savage fury, unleashing a colossal surge of pure destruction that swallowed his body whole and bathed the gloomy city in blinding brilliance.
In sheer dread, Sozing gaped at the man-made star.
The instant after, a spectral shape burst forth from the blast.
It hurtled directly into Sozing's frame.
A torrent of strength coursed into him. His physique got brutally enhanced, a sharp edge materializing on his right arm while luminous violet veins extended over his whole form. The Immortal Knight from the Tenth Empyrean World faltered, grief and agony contorting his features.
Yet another fragment of his essence was lost.
For Sozing, grief would have to wait.
The gravity hold binding Cain at last crumbled, allowing the Scarlet King to ascend gradually from the earth. His eyes stayed shut, rivulets of blood trickling over his countenance, but the Eye of Gluttony persisted in operation, its consuming stare fixed entirely on Sozing.
This vision struck pure terror.
Disregarding the crimson staining his face, Cain advanced steadily, one foot after the other, as the fabricated sun blazed on high over the devastated urban sprawl.
"So when one of you offers their life," Cain stated evenly, "they can provide you with a short-lived surge in strength—even right on the brink of oblivion. That's crucial information."
No compassion or leniency colored his tone toward the Immortal Knight.
Hostility defined the bond between the Tenth Empyrean World and the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Without a second thought, Cain would slay any intruder from there, and given the chance, he'd raze everything to cinders.
Sozing drew in a steadying breath and balled his hands. The radiant purple veins throbbed with vigor as he met the gaze of the nearing Scarlet King.
Bolts of lightning crackled through the obscured city while their presences clashed repeatedly, intensifying further with each passing moment.
Suddenly, both auras faded away.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
As their knuckles met, the whole metropolis quaked fiercely. Structures toppled in cascades, crumbling under the immense might released by the warring duo. Limbs blurred at astonishing velocities, shock ripples and rending flashes erupting everywhere around.
A profound slash ripped open Sozing's torso.
Ignoring the agony, he thrust his hand into Cain's midsection, unleashing a ruinous pulse. Scarlet King's mouth sprayed blood as his innards quivered from the impact, yet he stayed upright, jaws set tight while retaliating with a savage blow targeted at Sozing's visage.
In the final moment, the Curse Eater intercepted the fist using his flat hand.
Its inner force got fully countered.
Coldness filled Sozing's stare as he hoisted the Scarlet King skyward and smashed him down with ruthless might. Right away, he delivered a mighty boot that propelled the Scarlet King smashing past shattered edifices, tearing through multiple ruins until coming to a scraping stop.
Cain ground his teeth sensing fractures forming inside him.
"Damn it," he mused. "After that recent merging, his might and versatility have skyrocketed. His force and quickness surpass my own."
Though Cain had kept a composed front during the fight, the Curse Eater's prowess was genuinely astounding—matching his mixed lineage's peak output in the Crimson World.
No chance to ponder lingered.
Sozing materialized right overhead, his splayed hand pointing down while firing a repelling surge of boundless potency. The ground dipped profoundly around them, with Cain in the midst, carving out a vast depression that could cradle a plummeting star.
Determination blazed in Sozing's eyes.
He tilted his edged limb toward the pit and plunged in the next beat, bearing impetus fierce enough to rend an entire realm.
Right when the Immortal Knight poised for the fatal strike, two words rang out.
"Fifteen Gear."
At once, the Scarlet King disappeared.
Before Sozing finished his plunge, a hit rammed his rear with power that threatened to snap his backbone. This marked just the start.
Ere he could steady himself, a fresh strike flung him aloft. Then, as he approached the dome's edge, another force hurled him back down.
The violet veins on Sozing's form throbbed wildly, pushing his evolving traits to the brink as they fought to grasp the chaos. Tossed wildly about, he couldn't find balance.
At length, his vision adjusted.
Cain came into view.
The Scarlet King's frame quivered at a horrifying rhythm, his outline flickering as if his very particles strained against the velocity. The atmosphere wailed nearby, igniting in flames, warped by velocity and pressure.
"This move drives his physique to the utmost boundary of the Third Realm," Sozing noted with foreboding. "A state he can't sustain indefinitely."
Sozing gritted his teeth, striving to fight back.
Then Cain seized him from the rear.
Employing cataclysmic velocity and drive, the Scarlet King plunged Sozing headlong into the soil. The Immortal Knight thrashed to escape, to no avail.
They slammed earthward with such colossal force it appeared ready to bore straight through the heart of the dark city.
