The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2346 New race, new abilities

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
The Scarlet King and the Crimson Exarch stood exhausted before the Eternity Gate, facing a final ultimatum of surrender or death from the Ancient One. In a shocking maneuver, the Crimson Exarch appeared to betray Cain by piercing his heart with a golden horn, only to trigger a cataclysmic evolution fueled by the Matrix of Origin Island. This sacrifice shattered Cain’s previous limits, dissolving his Neo-Demon Core to reforge him into a new, obsidian-armored entity of immense power. Now possessing strength that rivals the laws of the universe, Cain has launched a devastating counterattack, engaging the Ancient One in a final, desperate struggle for supremacy.

"BOOOOOOMMMM!"

The heavens shook from a thunderous blast as the Scarlet King and the Ancient One traded blows. A chaotic display of scarlet-obsidian and white lightning erupted around them, fueled by their immense overgod power.

As Cain clashed directly with the Ancient One, a violent tremor ran through his skeletal structure. The force was so staggering that it felt as though his arms might shatter into fragments at any moment.

The Ancient One’s physical might remained undeniably monstrous. Nevertheless, Cain held his ground. He gritted his teeth against the pressure, a defiant grin appearing on his face despite the strain.

Although his racial evolution and the emergence of the dodecahedron hadn't increased his Cultivation level, they had sparked a profound transcendental shift in his soul and physical essence. His combat strength had surged to a level where he could withstand the terrifying power of one of the universe's most formidable beings.

While Cain smiled, his opponent’s features were distorted by a mixture of fury and irritation.

The Ancient One struggled to process the reality of the situation.

Every time he reached for his ultimate goal, an obstacle appeared to shove him back. For billions of years, he had meticulously crafted his plans to be perfect. He had prepared contingency after contingency to ensure his passage through the Eternity Gate would be unopposed.

Yet, everything was unraveling because of a mere youth who hadn't even reached a millennium in age.

The indignity was impossible to stomach.

"Why don't you just die!?"

With a roar, the Ancient One swung a vicious hook toward Cain's temple. Narrowly avoiding the strike by twisting his frame, Cain countered with a punishing uppercut. The fist connected perfectly with the ancient monster's jaw, launching him higher into the firmament.

"He's still weakened," Cain noted internally, his grin widening.

Cain knew that even with his recent evolution, facing the Ancient One at his peak would be a gamble. However, while the enemy's physical form was mostly restored, his soul and primordial authority remained fractured. That specific vulnerability was the opening Cain needed, and he was determined to press the advantage.

His wings expanded as he shot upward, his veins burning with power as the fundamental laws of the cosmos integrated with his very cells.

The Ancient One regained his composure just in time. His expression went blank as he suppressed his rage, hatred, and frustration, forcing his mind into a state of absolute combat clarity. The weight of billions of years of war experience came to the forefront.

He evaded Cain's following strike with surgical precision, delivering a heavy blow to the chest that sent the Scarlet King spiraling through the air.

Blood trickled from Cain's lips, but he responded with laughter. Though the Ancient One's hits caused significant damage, they weren't enough to break him. This resilience allowed him to focus entirely on his offensive. Driven by a surging killing intent, he threw himself back into the conflict.

Down below, the inhabitants of Origin Island were paralyzed. The Ancient One’s shadow sphere held them captive—either consuming them as essence or pinning them down with the crushing weight of the Matrix. Neither the Demon King, Meylin, nor the surviving fighters could move; they could only watch the spectacle above.

High in the sky, obsidian-scarlet wings clashed repeatedly against white plasma wings. The resulting shockwaves were so potent that the fabric of reality flickered between beauty and terror. The observers could do nothing but pray for Cain’s success, or at least hope he could stall until the island’s gates closed.

Cain’s gaze glowed with a fierce scarlet light as the Power of Chaos and the Flow reached unprecedented levels. Dodging a swipe, he spun mid-air and launched a brutal spinning kick aimed at the Ancient One’s head.

Just before the strike landed, the Ancient One’s eye flashed with light.

The kick was frozen in place by a sudden force of Negation.

Blood began to leak from that eye, a sign of the heavy price paid for invoking such power. Ignoring the backlash, the Ancient One thrust his palm forward, hitting Cain’s chest with a repulsive wave that threw him backward.

Cain was propelled through the clouds, coughing up blood. Before he could even register the agony, the Ancient One was already closing the distance.

Cain’s focus sharpened.

Drawing a deep breath, he opened his hand wide.

In an instant, his internal energy merged with the ambient power of the world, condensing into a dark sphere of plasma within his palm. He triggered the attack the moment the Ancient One arrived.

A beam of pure annihilation roared forth, causing the heavens to tremble. The explosion swallowed the Ancient One whole, blasting him far into the horizon.

A hint of surprise finally flickered in the Ancient One’s cold eyes.

The obsidian beam possessed a terrifying property. It seemed to bypass all standard energy barriers and cosmic defenses, leaving his body badly scorched.

Cain himself was stunned by the result.

"It feels like I'm merging the destructive core of the Neo-Demon True Doomsday Body with the inherent entropy of the universe," he mused. "It's evolving into something entirely new."

It was evident that his new racial form possessed depths he had yet to map out. However, the heat of battle left no room for contemplation.

"Let instinct take over."

With that resolve, Cain charged. He extended both hands, firing a rapid succession of obsidian plasma bolts.

The Ancient One attempted to brush them aside with Negation, but the projectiles tore right through his defense. He was forced to use every ounce of his concentration just to weave through the barrage.

The Ancient One successfully avoided the volley, but the effort cost him his focus.

That brief lapse was the only window Cain required.

Suddenly, Cain was right in front of him.

Pressing his palms together, he manifested an obsidian sphere far more concentrated and volatile than the last. It was a dense mass of overwhelming power.

Cain detonated it at point-blank range.

"BOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!"

A dark explosion lit up the firmament, followed by a pillar of energy that drove the Ancient One straight into the earth. The collision carved a gargantuan canyon across the surface of Origin Island, as the ground buckled and tore apart under the incredible impact.
