The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2330 Devouring a Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod

As Zanko slammed into the earth, crimson blazes consumed the nearby energy before spiraling into his frame. A colossal detonation erupted, hammering the Neo-Angel even further into the soil. The potency of the Imperium Dream had surged remarkably following the advancement of Cain's soul force and True Name, granting its raw power and destructive potential a much more lethal edge than ever before.
Cain tightened his fingers around Sky Devourer, prepared to maintain his relentless pressure.
Abruptly, his gaze sharpened.
He pivoted violently as a solar eruption of red plasma surged toward him, forming a thick pillar of heat so intense it seemed capable of liquefying the firmament. Hanzo was the source of the strike, the Neo-Angel pouring his entire being into this lone attack. Cain briefly considered employing Redirection, yet as the inferno neared, a disturbing sensation washed over him. The plasma felt sentient, as if a hostile consciousness dwelled within the flames. This was undoubtedly Hanzo's specialized power.
Should Cain permit those fires to enter his system, they would shred his internals long before he could hope to transmute the energy within his stomach.
Drawing a focused breath, Cain gathered scarlet flames along the edge of Sky Devourer.
He met the assault with sheer, unadulterated force.
With a single, heavy swing, he cleaved the pillar of red plasma straight down the center.
Hanzo ground his teeth in frustration as he witnessed his ultimate technique being neutralized so effortlessly. Refusing to concede, he increased the flow of energy into the blaze, hoping to drown Cain in a sea of fire. To the Neo-Angel's dismay, Cain did not just continue to hack through the pillar; he began to advance. Step by step, he narrowed the gap, his aura becoming increasingly oppressive. When less than ten feet remained between them, Cain's Chaos Wings erupted. A massive surge of environmental energy was pulled into his body, providing a brief but explosive enhancement to his velocity and power. In a flash, he vanished and reappeared right in front of Hanzo.
Hanzo tried to back away—but his reactions were too sluggish.
With a strike fueled by every bit of Cain's physical might, Sky Devourer lopped off the Neo-Angel's left forearm. The limb spun through the air, spraying a trail of blood and embers.
Agony racked Hanzo, but he did not lose his concentration. His eyes burned with a mixture of icy determination and fiery passion as his severed limb suddenly burst into dozens of serpents composed of red fire. The beasts lunged at Cain from every angle, hissing with murderous intent.
The Scarlet King felt a momentary spark of respect for the Neo-Angel's resilience and skill. Regardless of his desire to press the attack, he was forced to address the immediate danger.
Sky Devourer clashed with the fire serpents repeatedly, scarlet energy obliterating the red flames that gave them form. Cain dismantled the constructs with incredible efficiency—yet it wasn't quite fast enough.
Zanko returned to the fight.
The Neo-Angel's chest was crushed, his ribs visible through charred skin. Despite the damage, his Salvation Incarnation wings pulsed with light. Zanko gripped the very fabric of the sky, twisting the atmosphere around his arm to bolster his strength before throwing a catastrophic punch toward Cain.
The Scarlet King barely had time to bring his blade up into a blocking position.
The momentum and weight behind Zanko's fist were staggering. It felt as though the heavens themselves were collapsing onto Cain's frame. Even with his peerless constitution, Cain could not withstand the full brunt of the blow. He was hammered into the ground with such violence that the impact sent massive earthquakes rippling across the warzone.
Before a second could pass, Hanzo aimed his stump toward the crater Cain occupied. He ignited his own lifeblood, unleashing a flood of red fire that burned with more heat than the sun. The resulting inferno consumed the area, triggering a massive explosion that vaporized everything in its radius.
Zanko and Hanzo drifted above the ruins, so drained that just staying in the air was a struggle. Nevertheless, their expressions remained fixed with cold resolve and iron will.
It was evident that these two had not achieved their status through fortune. They had tempered their power through sheer grit and countless battles where they walked the line between life and death.
A coordinated strike of that caliber should have been sufficient to eradicate any standard Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod.
Even so, the two Neo-Angels did not drop their guard.
Their eyes stayed sharp as they readied themselves to dive down and confirm the total annihilation of the Scarlet King’s body and soul.
Before they could act, however, slender purple lines manifested in the air around them.
The World Matrix was triggered, and in the following breath, absolute darkness consumed the world.
A wave of terror and dread, more profound than anything they had ever known, gripped the Neo-Angels. Unfortunately, by the time they grasped the situation, the trap had already closed.
They were imprisoned within Chaos Arts.
Before they could attempt a counter-move, a voice resonated through the void.
"Chaos of Worldbreak: Ragnarök."
In that moment, a pinprick of light ignited within the blackness. It dilated instantly, becoming a gargantuan arc of energy that tore the darkness asunder and swept toward the pair.
Hanzo, the flame-user, was only caught by the periphery of the strike. A jagged wound ripped across his torso, mangling his organs, but he managed to stay alive.
Zanko was far less lucky.
Ragnarök passed through him completely, slicing through his toughened skin and bisecting his body. His internal organs spilled out as his massive frame fell apart. While Neo-Angels possessed incredible durability and unique traits, they lacked the power of instantaneous regeneration. To be cut in half was a death sentence.
Zanko was given no time to linger in pain.
Before he could process his fate, Cain grabbed him by the skull and flooded his mind with the concentrated power of the Imperium Dream, plunging the Neo-Angel into a profound coma.
A freezing smile touched Cain's lips.
He turned his attention back to Hanzo as the Scarlet Throne manifested behind him, its presence beginning to consume Zanko's destiny and very existence without a hint of pity.
