The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2331 The Demon King's power

Cain continued to analyze the Samsara Lord and the nature of Origin Island, concluding the island likely originated from a place where beings like the Samsara Lord were worshipped. Meanwhile, deep within the island, a masked race with violet eyes guarded an unconscious Bradly. Their leader, after extracting information from Bradly, declared their mission to protect the island and its sleeping King from all invaders.

Horror gripped Hanzo’s heart the instant he witnessed Zanko’s destruction within that crimson dimension. He didn't waste a second, igniting his very life force to vanish into the distance at maximum speed. Reason was drowned out by terror; his mind held nothing but the desperate urge to survive.

Cain gave the fleeing Neo-Angel a brief look but chose not to give chase. Once he was certain of his solitude, the heavy tension finally drained from his frame. His legs nearly gave way, and blood began to seep from his nostrils and eyes, dripping onto the earth below.

"The growth of my soul force was a massive help," Cain whispered through strained breaths, "but tapping into the island's Matrix still puts an incredible strain on me."

He took several deep gulps of air to steady his nerves and turned his focus toward recovery. A massive tide of life force, harvested from Zanko’s remains, surged into him to mend his damaged body. Cain understood that while he couldn't stay here forever, maintaining peak condition was mandatory in a place as lethal as Origin Island.

"I am drawing closer to the island's center," he reflected grimly. "Conflicts will only happen more often now. Caution is necessary. Even if I can take down Middle Alpha-Omega Overgods, the Freedom Path still commands even more formidable warriors." After his state stabilized, Cain relocated to a more hidden area to fully focus on his healing. As he did, a sharp glint appeared in his eyes as he recalled the information gained from his link with the Matrix. Connecting to the island's laws had granted him more than just raw power; it had provided a wealth of data.

"The laws of Origin Island have been tampered with," Cain realized. "The schedule for its shutdown has been moved up significantly."

He had no clue who was behind the change, yet he felt a sense of grim satisfaction. His goal was to stop anyone from accessing the Eternity Gate, so a faster closure worked in his favor. Whatever mysterious force was speeding things up, it was perfectly aligned with his intentions.

Just as Cain suspected, the slaughter across Origin Island grew more intense as the champions of the Life Path and the Freedom Path converged on the core.

Above a lake that seemed composed of pure, molten lightning, two titanic Neo-Angels stood in opposition to a lone figure.

The first Neo-Angel was a dragon the size of a mountain range. Its massive frame was shielded by blackened, fractured scales that looked like primordial stone. Skeletal, tattered wings spread out behind it, humming with molten energy and glowing with fiery veins. A suffocating pressure radiated from its every breath.

The second Neo-Angel took the form of a massive humanoid carved from pale rock. Molten red cracks webbed across its skin, and four colossal arms grew from its trunk, each appearing strong enough to shoulder the heavens.

These were Zylax and Paramount.

Beyond their awe-inspiring physical presence, their auras were bone-chilling. As Late Alpha-Omega Overgods, their united strength could make the foundations of reality tremble. They possessed the power to shatter Empyrean Worlds and incinerate Crimson Realms. Nevertheless, their faces were masks of grave apprehension.

They were facing only a single foe.

The man stood only a few meters tall, yet his presence completely overshadowed the two giants.

He was the Demon King! Master of the Life Path and one of the two most powerful beings in the entire Crimson World.

The Demon King watched the two Neo-Angels with a slight grin, though his gaze remained frigid and brutal. Even though evolving into a True Depravita had purged his fundamental darkness, he remained the general who had once marched an armageddon across the Crimson World. In the heat of combat, his mercy remained nonexistent.

A single second of absolute silence passed.

Then, the Neo-Angels struck.

Zylax lifted a massive claw, manifesting a spear of golden lightning that exceeded his own size. The energy condensed instantly into a solid weapon before he hurled it with world-breaking momentum.

Simultaneously, Paramount brought all four of his hands together. Intense pressure gathered between his palms as a void-black sphere with a burning red center emerged, swelling and then collapsing into a miniature star. With a deafening cry, he threw the celestial projectile at the Demon King.

The Neo-Angels held nothing back from the start. They understood that their only hope of surviving this encounter was to injure the Demon King and find a gap to flee.

Their strikes possessed enough raw power to light up entire galaxies, saturated with terrifying levels of cosmic energy.

Despite the onslaught, the Demon King’s grin never wavered.

His eyes flared as he casually reached out one hand.

It was an effortless gesture, yet the heavens shook and the very soil of Origin Island quaked. To the horror of the Neo-Angels, two shimmering golden hands materialized behind the Demon King, lunging forward to intercept the lightning spear and the collapsing star.

"RUMBLE!"

The entire region shuddered. The ground broke into fragments and the sky warped violently. Even so, the fundamental laws of the island held fast, absorbing the chaos and preventing the collapse of reality. It was a testament to the sheer strength of Origin Island’s rules.

The opposing forces reached a brief, tense deadlock.

Then the energies detonated, triggering a colossal explosion that swallowed the entire battlefield.

Zylax and Paramount hovered in the air, looking at one another and wondering if the chaos had provided them an opening.

Their hopes were dashed an instant later when the Demon King appeared right between them.

With a flick of his right hand, a golden palm manifested and slammed into Zylax’s mountain-like body, sending the dragon hurtling away like a falling star.

Paramount let out a roar as his power flared, swinging all four massive arms in a frantic bid to crush the Demon King.

The Demon King simply closed his fist.

In that moment, two golden palms clamped around Paramount’s frame, squeezing the Neo-Angel between them with irresistible force.

The fight had lasted less than ten seconds.

Yet in that heartbeat, the Demon King had already demonstrated why half the universe followed his command.
