The leaders of the Orthodox forces gather to finalize preparations for a massive war against the demons. A holographic map reveals the battlefield: a continent divided in two, with each side establishing numerous fortresses. The war's conditions for victory are laid out, emphasizing resourcefulness and strategic dominance. The young geniuses are instructed to focus on secluded cultivation to prepare for the intense combat ahead.

Right after the meeting, Qingyi headed straight for one of the Celestial Spear's many private cultivation rooms.

Several other young talents received the same treatment, each one disappearing behind a reinforced door.

Those of a lower level, however, had to make do with the shared cultivation rooms. Not that anyone complained.

Even the shared rooms were far superior to anything they had back in their sects, with Qi so dense you could almost chew it.

No one there dared to waste a single second.

Mingzhu also got a room all to herself, right next to Qingyi's.

For the next few days, until the date set for the war, he remained in isolation.

Well… technically isolated.

In practice, he spent most of his time inside the Mind World, playing with Lingxi. Every little giggle, every time her chubby little hands grabbed his finger and tugged… Qingyi wasn't about to waste a single second of it.

The days flew by in the blink of an eye. Before he knew it, he was gathered with all his wives, Lingxi nestled in his arms and clinging to him with all the strength of her little body.

She was too young to understand what was happening.

But the downcast faces of her mothers and the heavy silence hanging in the air were enough for her to know that Daddy was going to be away for a while.

Naturally, she cried, her face buried in his chest, her tiny fingers clinging to his clothes with stubborn strength, refusing to let go.

Qingyi stayed with her for a few more minutes, gently rocking her and humming softly, until her sobs turned into sniffles and the sniffles turned into slow, peaceful breathing.

He didn't dare leave until she had fallen asleep, her tear-streaked cheek pressed against his chest.

He hated seeing Lingxi cry. With all his heart, truly. And he gathered up every drop of that hatred and aimed it in a single direction: the Heavenly Demon.

Who else could he hate for that?

After saying goodbye to each of his wives, he left the Mind World with a steady gaze.

Yuehan was already waiting for him in his cultivation room.

"Did Lingxi cry a lot?" she asked, her voice low.

She, too, had formed a strong bond with the little girl. Whenever Lingxi called her "Mommy"—even though she wasn't her real mother—Yuehan felt her heart grow warm.

The same was true for Dian Huoyue, Ruxue's sister and one of Lingxi's favorite sources of milk.

At that very moment, however, she wasn't inside Yuehan's sword. She had used the connection to stay by Ruxue's side, within the Mind World.

Qingyi sighed and pulled Yuehan into his arms.

Her breasts pressed against his chest instantly. Large and heavy, but not excessive—just the right size to fit in his hands.

He felt them squash softly against him, spreading under the pressure, their warmth seeping through the thin fabric between their bodies.

Qingyi's hands slid down her back, gliding along the curve of her slender waist and over the swell of her hips until they came to rest on that plump, luscious ass.

His fingers sank in without meeting any resistance at all. It was too soft to be real. A warm, heavy softness that swallowed his fingertips and bulged out between them when he squeezed.

Each cheek was far too big for his hands to come anywhere close to covering, the fat overflowing his grip on every side.

He kissed her passionately, using that grip to pull her even closer until there was no space left between their bodies.

Yuehan gasped against his lips, shuddering from head to toe. Her thick thighs squeezed together reflexively, and her fingers tangled in the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer.

Their tongues danced against each other, wet and warm. A low moan escaped her in the middle of the kiss, humming against his lips.

When their lips finally parted, her tongue still followed his for a second, reluctant, a thin thread of saliva stretching between their mouths before snapping.

"Nghnn~~ You know it's going to take a while, don't you? The last great war lasted seventy years..." She rested her forehead against his chest, her voice muffled.

"I know why you're leaving the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword with me. But I'm worried about Lingxi... What if you're gone too long? She'd suffer terribly without her father."

Qingyi remained silent, his chin resting on the top of her head.

He already knew all of that.

Wars on that scale dragged on. Many of the fortresses even had factories and entire systems for producing food and keeping the front lines supplied, built precisely because no one expected them to end quickly.

The longest of them all had lasted so long that a Celestial Emperor was born in the middle of it. And it was he who brought it to an end.

Of course, Qingyi wasn't willing to put up with any of that. Not at all.

Miss Lingxi's first birthday? Over his dead body.

His hand rose and came down hard on one of Yuehan's buttocks.

The crack was sharp and loud, echoing off the walls of the quiet room.

The struck cheek flattened beneath his palm for an instant, the fat spreading out around his fingers, then sprang back the moment he lifted his hand. A heavy ripple rolled across the whole buttock and into its twin, her entire behind quivering from the impact before slowly settling again.

Yuehan let out a startled little scream, her back arching as the heat from the slap slowly spread across her skin beneath the fabric.

Then he embraced her firmly one last time and placed the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword in her hands, wrapping his own around hers to close her fingers around the hilt.

"Two days," he declared.

"In two days I'll be back, bathed in the blood of all those damned demons."

He didn't give Yuehan time to respond.

At that very moment, enormous pulses of Qi swept through the entire Celestial Spear, making the floor, the walls, and the bones of everyone on board vibrate.

It was the signal for the young talents to board the orbital landing capsules.

It was time.

Qingyi used his spatial affinity and vanished on the spot, reappearing inside an empty capsule.

The interior was cramped and cold, smelling faintly of metal and oil, the blue lights on the control panel flashing as the system recognized an occupant.

Without wasting any time, he sent voice transmissions to his generals, each already settled into the capsules surrounding his own.

[The moment you reach the planet, order all forces to advance immediately. I'll handle the enemy's main fortress.]

The words caused massive confusion among the young talents. Advance head-on? Without reconnaissance, without formation? And the main fortress… alone?

Several demanded explanations at once, their voices jostling over the transmissions.

Too late.

Loud clicks echoed through the hangar as the locks released, and the engines roared to life.

The Celestial Spear and five other smaller ships launched five million capsules at the same time, a shower of glittering points streaking across the blackness of space.

On the other side of the planet, the demonic forces did exactly the same.

Qingyi did not brace for the impact of the descent.

He stood in the middle of the capsule, eyes closed, breathing calmly, while the hull shook and groaned around him and the heat of reentry made the metal crackle. The temperature inside climbed fast, the smell of scorched steel filling the cramped space.

Outside, the air began to burn.

Suddenly, his eyes flew open and his form changed.

Shortly after the capsule reached the planet's lower atmosphere, gigantic claws tore through it from the inside as if it were paper, the thick metal screeching and buckling before shattering in midair.

A pair of wings unfolded, stretching for kilometers and blocking out the sun.

The first flap was a catastrophe. A single beat flattened the entire forest below, ripping centuries-old trees out by their roots, while the sheer pressure of that gigantic body crushed everything that grew there into a cloud of dirt and leaves.

A terrifying roar engulfed the entire planet. The capsules still falling trembled in the air, and every living creature below cowered.

A gigantic black dragon tore through the sky toward the demons, its wings ablaze from sheer speed, leaving a veil of ash and destruction in its wake.

The forest in its path didn't even have time to burn properly. It simply turned to embers and smoke.

It was time for those demons to experience the terror of a black dragon.
