The gods and their chosen opponents take their positions in the arena as Ryder announces the rules. Adam, Evelyn's grandfather, adds a rule that increases challenger stats over time, much to Evelyn's dismay. The first battle begins between the bald monk Shitless and the eyeless giant god. After initially matching the god's immense strength, Shitless makes a critical error in his hand seals, causing his golden body to shatter and leaving him utterly vulnerable to the god's devastating punch, which grinds him into the ground.

No one knew who said it, but before long everyone around knew that crying monk is the father of that shame lying deep in the crater, the news spreading like wildfire.

The monk almost bled from his ears hearing everyone laugh, the sound grating against his nerves.

Soon, he got so angry that he couldn't stand it, how dare they make fun of that bald monk in front of him.

So, in a resolute tone and proud attitude, he silenced everyone: "He is an abandoned son, I don't know him all that much, today is the first time I met him after his birth."

Right, he decided to quickly sever all connections with that monk, disowning him on the spot without a second thought.

The burly god laughed like a madman, in front of the defeated Shitless who lay like a dead dog inside a pit, his tongue even rolling out limply.

The other gods were also quite surprised by the outcome, although they were confident but they all were ready for a tough fight beforehand.

But now it seemed there was no need to even deploy all their methods at all, if that Baldy was their trump card as he mentioned before, then they are all done for already without a doubt.

The higher beings also frowned collectively at the display, wasn't this too one sided already? Wasn't the betting just meaningless then if it was over this fast?

But sparrow laughed madly, roaring towards the sky in triumph. His life was about to turn around, he had put everything on the line and made a fortune already.

Everyone around him felt jealous, gritting their teeth.

In the arena, the gods decided to quickly take care of it, there was still that random rule added near the end to consider. The longer the match goes on, the higher the strength of the challengers would be.

With full strength they started attacking their respective opponents all at once.

Maeve who had transformed into a mass of darkness that surrounded their entire region was instantly left covered in wounds as the shadow goddess launched countless attacks at once from every conceivable angle, giving her no room to breathe.

Teresa was locked inside a space made entirely of letters, an enormous book's pages rapidly flipping past her at dizzying speed, wounds one by one appearing on her body as characters kept gathering on her arms.

She could barely dodge the lethal attacks, her breathing growing ragged.

Vanessa stood in a place, in a daze, as strange sounds flooded another region entirely. It was as if her body had lost control completely, her mana began to retaliate against herself violently.

Fiona was like a tiny speck of dust in front of the largest god, no matter how much she tried desperately to engulf him in flames, all came to naught in the end regardless.

At most she can cover half of his finger, but failed to completely burn him while the largest god started shattering everything around her.

Whether it be space, region, time, her identity, all of it began to shatter apart slowly.

Diana, who was using the abilities gained from the tomb of the gods could barely hold her own against the tiny god, who kept creating all sorts of concept out of thin air effortlessly, one after another without tiring.

In a way, the largest and smallest god were opposite of one another entirely. One pointed towards destruction while the other towards creating.

They had also known each other for very long, even before they became gods themselves. And both of them had obtained their respective opportunities along the way.

One obtained a concept from the creation mythic halo while the latter obtained the concept from the demonic veyll mythic halo, both supporting each other and reaching such a high position together over countless years.

On other side, a mix of few colours danced at her finger tips gently as she faced the baby god who laughed and looked carefree.

Still with a lollipop in his mouth, he didn't possess such offensive ability at all.

The baby god's ability was only one, a single ability called 'Win', deceptively simple.

Whenever this ability was used, no matter what the baby god did, the fate itself will lead her towards victory relentlessly.

While the opponent will keep making mistakes helplessly, and will move towards losing, the more they struggle they more they push themselves into a loss they cannot escape.

Of course, such an ability isn't invincible, otherwise he would be the strongest among the ten gods and he wouldn't have been defeated by the divine long ago in the past.

But against an easy opponent like Yennefer, he didn't even go all out but just continued to push her towards defeat casually.

On other side, Yasmine was facing the weak looking old god, who appeared like a person at the end of his stage and a strong wind would be enough to make him fall over.

His raw strength was clearly not high at all.

But his hands moved rapidly, forming various spell incantations, as he evoked various destructive and debuff abilities one after another.

Yasmine faired better than the others, she even had the shield provided by the divine so she wasn't receiving even the slightest injuries at all.

And somehow that shied didn't alert anyone there, which meant divine had made arrangements for this in advance carefully.

The oldest god continued to bombard her relentlessly, locking her in place and launching all sorts of spells at once.

Vritra glanced at the others quietly out of the corner of his eye, showing no expressions but the sun god was sure he must be feeling anxious inside, they have studied their opponents thoroughly and knew the bond between these ten was very close.

They were a real family, bound by more than convenience.

Unlike themselves, the ten gods only cooperated and stayed together for the benefits, they wouldn't think twice before betraying each other for enough benefits offered.

But that doesn't matter, they are clearly winning regardless.

It was as if Shitless had set a precedent, losing so miserably that he made the entire team lose the morale, making them all lose faith.

The burly god after finishing off Shitless had even started to help the other gods, it was just a matter of time before they would be killed one by one systematically.

"I was wondering what made you so confident but it seems I was just wasting my time, you all clearly have misjudged your own strength and ours. Unfortunately, I am not in the mood to play around." His voice carried genuine disdain.

As he spoke, the sun god raised both his hands to his side slowly, palms facing upwards.

Then, two sun surging with energy formed above him, cracking the space and sucking everything in around it.

The expressions on Vritra's face finally changed dramatically, turning dark and helpless, as he quickly used various abilities and treasure to form shields around himself in desperation.

Seeing this, the sun god only laughed more, amused by the futile effort.

The two scorching suns reached Vritra the moment they were launched, not giving him enough time to do much else.

CRACK

The barriers around him were able to hold only for a few moments before cracking apart completely, then his body was consumed by the destructive suns, leaving him seriously injured and burned all over.

'Too easy, I won't give them any time to use their trump cards, Die!' the sun god began to launch one attack after another without pause.

Suddenly a crack formed over his cheek unexpectedly, he frowned upon feeling the faint sensation but then ignored it, that wasn't important, for now he needed to deal with these weak ants first.

Then another cut appeared over his shoulder out of nowhere, the sun god glanced at it but just chuckled and continued to bombard the already injured Vritra without concern.

Then a scorched mark appeared over his forehead suddenly, making him take a deep breath.

'So annoying, let me kill them first, who is trying to disturb me-?!!' his patience was wearing thin.

But suddenly his heart chilled to the extreme, and his body froze completely in place.

What was happening? Why was he getting injured when literally no one was attacking him directly? Something was seriously wrong here!

The sun god focussed with all his might and looked around frantically, forming protective barrier like sun, blocking the surrounding entirely.

He took a few medicines hurriedly and activated many magic treasure to clear his mind, while at the same time, use his mana to forcibly wake his senses up.

And as he finally awakened, the sun god felt his heart beat quicken rapidly. His body was filled with hundreds of wounds of various sorts, when did it happen to him?

The sun god felt as if he was forgetting something very important, something crucial.

He looked at the talismans he had prepared carefully but was unsure of what to use, so he used one of all types he had prepared, even if it's a waste, he had to do it now.

Instantly, the region in which he stood was engulfed by chaos and many other phenomenon violently.

Even the barriers he had prepared cracked under the strain and the sun god got slightly more injured but finally a shadow covering his eyes was removed at last.

One talisman among them had done its job perfectly.

Finally, the sun god looked around as everything became clear to him. Taking in the sight of all the gods around him quickly.
