Ten challengers have stepped forward to face the undefeated gods in a grand arena. The crowd places bets, many on the gods' certain victory, while the gods prepare to crush their opponents swiftly. The challengers, including Vritra and Shitless, are granted the right to choose their opponents first, much to the gods' displeasure. Evelyn watches from the audience, her group nervously awaiting the outcome.

Hearing the announcement from Ryder, the ten gods frowned but they had no say in it, grumbling quietly among themselves under their breath.

So, while cursing their luck in their mind, they all separated into different regions of the arena, waiting for their Vritra and others to choose their opponents.

The first to move was the overconfident bald monk, he took a step forward and his body flashed in front of the eyeless giant god without a shred of hesitation, eager to prove himself.

"Leave this blind freak to me, I will one shot him." Shitless said, looking down at the burly god with obvious disdain.

The others rolled their eyes, wondering just what was giving him so much confidence all of a sudden.

But no longer paying attention to him, they all started moving towards their opponents, each choosing their path.

Vritra teleported in front of the Sun god who stood there with his arms behind his back and eyes closed, waiting patiently, radiating quiet confidence that filled the space around him.

He looked at Vritra without any emotion, as if trying to find all his secrets buried beneath the surface, peeling back every layer.

On the other hand, Vritra's puppet just stood nonchalantly, looking towards the public with an empty expression.

This arena was located inside the Vespera realm, under the high security and the chances of anything happening here is zero, watched from every angle.

After all, few of the strongest higher beings had gathered here for this very occasion.

Next Onest looked towards the gods and choose the rope god, directly appearing in front of the rope god without wasting time.

From far, the god looked like a short piece of rope with illusory eyes and a mouth, unassuming and harmless. But upon getting closer, Onest finally felt the pressing aura rolling off of it, heavy and suffocating.

The rope seemed to cover the entire sky, giving a feeling as if everything in the surrounding was under this god's control completely, down to the very air.

The others also moved, each taking their positions.

Maeve moved in front of the shadow goddess, whose presence was so low that people easily ignored her entirely.

Teresa in front of the Book god who was already forming all sorts of strategies in his mind upon seeing his opponent, calculating angles and possibilities.

Vanessa in front of the Instrument goddess, landing gracefully with practiced elegance, her beauty surprising the goddess and even the wider audience watching from beyond the barrier.

Next was Fiona stood in front of the biggest god, in front of her she looked like a spec of dust, the difference in size was extreme and almost comical to watch.

Diana stood in front of the smallest god who in front of her looked like a spec of dust, but exuded a terrifying aura despite the size.

Yennefer faced the baby god who had a lollipop in his mouth and looked innocently at her with wide eyes, but there was no heartbeat in his body at all.

After all both the hearts had been stolen by divine before, leaving nothing but an empty shell.

And lastly, Yasmine faced the weak looking oldest god, who unlike his appearance was the most experienced and was ranked among the top fighters.

Seeing this matchup, all the higher beings were even more confident of their choice, murmuring their agreement amongst themselves. How can these gods possibly be defeated?

"I think just that sun god would have been enough to kill them all, hahaha I made the correct gamble. After this, I will be the richest and everyone will be running behind me." The sparrow like higher being laughed arrogantly, wiping a tear of joy.

"Hmph What if they lose?" his friend who was in a terrible mood retorted, though he himself knew this was impossible.

"If they lose then I am an inbred and I will give everyone here one million each! If they lose then I am impotent and my children aren't mine!" the sparrow said, silencing everyone around him.

Soon their attention drifted towards Ryder who once again started speaking: "This battle has few rules as you all know…"

And then he began to recite the same old rules in a droning voice, how can they can't use any weapon or defence item that's leagues above their or opponent's strength.

External interference is prohibited, losing means death, and much more besides, the list going on for a good while.

'Haa thankfully, they haven't made any changes to the rules.' The smallest god and others sighed in relief collectively.

With Evelyn in the picture it wouldn't be impossible if they did, but thankfully, the rules were exactly the same as always.

So they had really not used any cheap tactic behind the scenes, then what exactly are they so confident about?

"That is all, does any of the judge want to say something?" Ryder asked, shifting all the attention towards the four seated above him.

"Why don't we make it a bit more fun? The longer the fight drags, the higher the stats of the challengers become." Adam, fader's father suggested casually, a sly smile spreading across his face.

Everyone who had previously challenged these gods got killed too easily and the war didn't live up to its hype, disappointing the crowds who came expecting a show.

It was too boring, plain and simple, over before it even started.

With this, at least the challengers would do their best to stretch the battle while the gods will try to end it quickly.

Isn't that more fun? To make them struggle more?

Evelyn who was seated among the audience frowned deeply, her arms crossing, she didn't know anything about this, it was probably her grandfather's spur of the moment idea.

She really wished she can smash that old man's head against something hard, maybe she can one day… hopefully soon.

"Will they be fine?" ava looked worried especially after hearing everyone speak talk around them, they all appeared so sure that Vritra and the rest will lose badly.

"Don't worry, they aren't weak. My son especially, he can sweep them all alone." The crying monk said with a hint of pride swelling in his chest, wiping his tears with the back of his hand.

Ava and gunter could only nervously watch as the battle finally began, holding their breath.

"Alright, now that rules and additions have been made, let's begin!!"

A loud horn was sounded, declaring the beginning of the war.

BOOOM!

Instantly an explosive sound rang out, the eyeless burly god's body glowed a reddish colour, his body rapidly enlarging before everyone's watching eyes.

"…" Shitless smirked confidently, chanting something under his breath while forming random hand seals with quick fingers.

In a second, the burly god's body rose to a height of over hundreds of feet, looking like a terrifying monster looming over the arena.

His hand pointed towards the sky, as if grasping something unseen high above, and then with a forceful push, he brought it down towards the nonchalant monk.

The bright sky darkened instantly, blotting out the light!

A fist as large as the sky suddenly descended covering almost the entire one region, booming sounds ringing out endlessly as the space crackled and warped violently.

"Not bad." Shitless also underwent a sudden change without warning.

His body glowing with a bright golden colour, almost looking like a statue carved from gold as he grew rapidly.

Nearly reaching the size of the god which surprised the burly god quite a bit, catching him off guard, but he exerted even more power into the strike regardless.

The other participants of the god war didn't start the battle instantly, instead they all waited and looked towards the two giants curiously, pausing their own fights.

They were all curious about Shitless's secret move, and if the battle can truly end quickly as he claimed.

After making hand seals, monk Shitless let out a loud humming and chanting sound, as the ringing of bells sounded through the arena.

His palm pointed towards the descended fist, as he pushed it upwards with all his might.

The movement that seemed extremely slow was carried out in less than a second, deceptively fast.

BOOOOOOOM!!

The palm and fist met with a deafening explosion that shook the region, blinding everything around them, both attacks halted for a moment in a tense standstill.

'Oh, this Baldy wasn't bragging?' the burly god was really shocked, he had exerted over 90% of his raw strength into that punch alone.

Although he has many trump cards but pure strength is his domain and specialty.

Yet now, someone was giving him a good challenge unexpectedly.

"Now face the annihilation- oops!" suddenly Shitless's expressions changed dramatically as he made a wrong hand seal.

CRACK

The next moment, his gold body started cracking visibly from head to toe. The enormous palm in the sky exploded pitifully, and then the fist continued to descend unopposed, unstoppable now.

BANG

Shitless's face became disfigured instantly as the fist landed straight on his face, smashing him hard into the ground below.

"…Urk"

The cracking golden giant was thrusted into a large crater then the fist continued to plummet mercilessly, grinding him down and turning him into a minced meat.

Within seconds, only a bruised body of a bald monk was left lying there in the dirt, tiny and pitiful compared to before.

Everyone: "…"

The expressions of Vritra and the others instantly darkened, almost wishing to act like they don't know that guy at all.

What a shame of mankind.

What was all that bragging for? He couldn't even last half a minute, defeated thoroughly by a single attack.

The gaze of the nine turned towards crying monk in unison, who had his mouth wide open at this moment in disbelief.

His falling tears seemed thicker now, streaming down his face without pause.

"Err" crying monk just sighed and shrugged helplessly, hoping that divine could take this son away again.
