Sword God in a World of Magic Chapter 1027 - - God
Previously on Sword God in a World of Magic...
Shang simply let out a chuckle upon learning that Abaddon had the ability to open a portal to the God's realm.
"Hold on a moment," Shang remarked, smirking.
In the next instant, Shang's authentic body reappeared, starting to condense and contract rapidly.
Shang's genuine form was already packed with immense Mana and Entropy, pushing Aterium to its absolute limits.
Boosting the density even further would probably cause Aterium to begin crumbling.
Yet, this wasn't a major problem at all.
Abaddon possessed the power to mend the fabric of reality.
After all, he could command virtually every aspect of Aterium.
As Shang's form contracted, the surrounding reality trembled with increasing violence.
CRK!
Finally, a black hole enveloped Shang's body.
Vast quantities of Mana surged toward the void, disappearing into oblivion.
Yet, moments later, Abaddon gestured, sealing the rift once more.
The fabric of reality around Shang stabilized again.
Shang's body continued to diminish steadily.
Now, it measured just five kilometers across.
Then, four.
Three.
Two.
One.
There, the compression halted.
At one kilometer in width, Shang's form ceased shrinking.
In that instant, Shang sensed the overwhelming might of his being, unmatched by anything else.
Even the slightest motion from him ripped Aterium asunder, forcing Abaddon to break into a sweat.
Shang's presence was so intensely packed that Abaddon had to sustain it purely through his own strength.
Should Abaddon cease his support, a massive chunk of the world would cave in and collapse.
Shang had achieved it at last.
Shang had ascended to become a God!
Right then, Shang perceived a binding chain shattering around him.
Reality seemed to dissolve into mere calculations.
All things followed unbreakable logic.
Everything clicked perfectly.
Shang could perceive the mechanics of the world's unraveling nearby and Abaddon's efforts to restore it.
Importantly, Shang hadn't grasped the Concept of the World or anything similar.
No, he simply sensed the flow of powers.
Shang lacked full comprehension of all details, yet his instincts guided him on wise or foolish actions.
It resembled pure instinct.
Shang didn't grasp the reasons behind his choices, but he knew the consequences of inaction.
'I get it now,' Shang mused, chuckling inwardly.
The silver wall finally made perfect sense.
Shang remained ignorant of its exact mechanisms, but he understood how to breach it.
Aterium felt transformed from a rigid solid into flowing liquid, allowing Shang to navigate freely.
Shang's essence had elevated beyond the need to engage with Aterium's reality.
Immediately after, Shang chuckled once more.
Suddenly, Abaddon's brows shot up in astonishment, and the sweat ceased.
The burden on the world vanished.
Shang appeared motionless, yet the immense pressure his presence exerted on reality lightened dramatically.
Moments ago, Shang had resembled a colossal weight planted in the center of a fragile trampoline for kids.
Upon realizing his predicament, Shang had effectively spread out like lying flat, distributing his mass across a wider area.
'At last, you've arrived,' Shang thought, smirking.
Shang recalled the God's once-unrivaled might.
The God could conjure and forge whatever he desired.
The God had even bestowed upon Shang the strength to obliterate Queen Primordium with a single strike.
Yet now, such feats appeared far less intricate.
Crafting Sword and its isolated space required only a handful of Concepts.
One like Lucius surely mastered sufficient world Concepts for such a task.
Moreover, forging the Child of Calamity seemed less daunting too.
As the prior Child of Calamity, Lucius held deep Entropy knowledge, and with his Life Affinity, he undoubtedly grasped the level five Life Concept, Birth.
Armed with that, Lucius could readily produce a Child of Calamity.
Amusingly, Lucius likely knew the level six Concepts of Life and Death as well.
After all, he had birthed an entire separate universe.
Earth's universe minus Earth essentially mirrored a barren realm, enabling Lucius to master the Concept of Terminus, while manifesting Earth allowed comprehension of Genesis.
Besides, with vast life insights and a superior intellect, predicting a mortal's thoughts proved simple.
Lucius embodied ultimate power before, but now Shang wielded it too.
Lucius no longer appeared so formidable.
Then, Shang chuckled anew.
WHOOOOM!
A dark portal materialized beside Shang, drawing Abaddon's intrigued gaze.
"Looks like you no longer require my assistance," Abaddon commented with a wry smile.
A light chuckle escaped Shang.
"Give me a couple of minutes."
Shang's enormous frame glided through the portal, sealing shut immediately behind him.
Interest filled the gazes of Abaddon, Gregorio, Kali, and even the Archivist as they stared at the place Shang had occupied moments ago.
At that moment, Shang arrived in a pitch-black void.
Yet, the void held more than nothingness.
In the distance, innumerable lights shimmered.
Shang had stepped into Earth's universe!
Currently, Shang hovered at the Milky Way's core.
Before him floated a dark crimson castle amid the emptiness.
As Shang's massive form drifted toward the castle, it began to diminish in size the nearer he approached.
Reducing his stature posed no challenge for Shang as a God.
By the time Shang arrived at the castle gates, his body matched the scale of a human head.
SSSSHHH!
Shang's Domain of Entropy obliterated the gate ahead, allowing him to drift inside the castle.
The castle consisted of merely one vast chamber.
A sprawling hall in black and red tones stretched to a throne at its far end.
A youth with hair of red and black occupied the throne.
At this instant, a smirk played on the man's lips.
"Shang," the man uttered with a chuckle.
"Lucius," Shang replied in an echoing tone.
