Michael used his newly crafted scrying bowl to observe various friends and allies, including the thriving Blazing Sun Monkey King, Sun Demos, who had evolved into a powerful ruler in the Untamed Jungle. As Alice joined him, they discussed the whereabouts of friends like Zeroa and troubles caused by Caesus’s actions near the Ocean Dragon’s territory. Amidst playful banter and concerns over potential catastrophe in the Azure Ocean, Michael revealed that Caesus had survived a perilous encounter, emerging stronger from the clash with the Ocean Dragon. Meanwhile, the Silverfang siblings continued to advance rapidly in their endeavors, showcasing their ambition and progress.

"Lucia is having fun with her friends, isn’t she?" Alice asked after a brief silence, her palm resting gently against her stomach.

Michael pulled her into a tight embrace, shifting the visual display to reveal the current activities of their daughter and the other youths.

Together, Michael and Alice observed Lucia as she wandered through the Origin Expanse. Michael had previously teleported the group to a Beginner Region located far from the Untamed Jungle, stripped of all possessions. Their War Rune storages were completely drained, their Artifacts confiscated, and even their Energy Pillars had been shattered and removed, only to be reconstructed once every drop of energy had vanished. To prevent complications, this process had spanned several months, ensuring Lucia and her companions returned to the status of Tierless Awakened, possessing nothing but their Soultraits.

While Michael struggled to comprehend why Lucia and her peers desired to become Tierless Awakened or why they chose to depart, Alice seemed to grasp their motivations perfectly.

"All they want is to live their lives to the fullest. With their talent, they could easily become Gods by remaining in your territory, but that path is far too dull. No one would ever dream of invading or challenging the Untamed Jungle because the world knows it belongs to you. Furthermore, your orders to cease hostilities against Lords outside the Untamed Jungle have effectively smothered the competitive spirit of the younger generation.

Since you have commanded the Untamed Jungle to stop its expansion now that it has been restored as a Primal Region, they are left with no one to fight but each other. I believe they simply crave a challenge; they want to experience the same thrilling era that you—or rather, we—once did," Alice explained, while Michael watched his lover, lost in thought.

"Is that why they traveled to the Tritan Alliance? To replicate our journey?" Michael questioned, despite already knowing the truth.

Lucia had been full of energy since childhood, and the tranquility of recent years had proven suffocating for her. This boredom led to the creation of her "Zero to Hero" initiative. While that was her name for it, Michael remained skeptical; considering how recklessly Lucia viewed the perils of the cosmos and the Origin Expanse, he felt "early grave" plan was a more fitting title.

She failed to respect the dangers of the Origin Expanse because she had been raised among its most powerful entities. Growing up in a Primal Region under the care of the New Primal, surrounded by Divine Beasts, had skewed her perspective. Naturally, she lacked seriousness, particularly regarding financial management, strategic planning, and the nuances of ruling.

For a time, Michael had been conflicted about Lucia’s path, yet he respected her yearning for independence. He chose not to interfere, watching her only from a distance. It was often painful for him, especially since Lucia had requested he not contact her while she was occupied. Fearing she might break down and ask for his assistance, she decided they should only speak again once the foundation of her territory was firmly established.

Lucia’s journey was marked by several blunders. She squandered her wealth on unnecessary items and commissioned Alchemy Towers long before any Alchemist had been recruited, all while ignoring the three Blacksmiths she had summoned. Despite these struggles, she didn't grow bitter. On the contrary, she thrived under the weight of her new responsibilities.

This was precisely why Michael enjoyed observing her. Seeing his daughter radiate such joy brought him peace.

She was truly happy.

A similar happiness was shared by Hiraku and his wife, the fiancee he had been separated from long ago before swearing fealty to Michael. The couple were now the proud parents of 21 children and boasted a total of 85 grandchildren.

Michael adjusted the mirror's reflection to show Hiraku and his massive family gathered for a grandchild's birthday. In Hiraku’s household, it seemed a week never passed without a celebration or party. With so many children, festivities were constant, yet that was what made their lives so vibrant. Their existence was a continuous stream of joy and laughter.

"Is Hellen pregnant again?" Alice asked, her eyes widening as she focused on Hiraku’s wife—specifically, her midsection.

"It certainly appears so," Michael answered, scanning the other women in the gathering. He noted at least three others who appeared to be expecting. It was quite a sight.

"They are certainly doing their part to fix the low birthrate of the last century," Michael remarked with a chuckle, earning himself a sharp pinch in the ribs.

"Don't tease them," Alice teased back, her eyes shimmering with delight as she watched the children play.

He offered Alice a smile and pulled her closer.

Though they only had one child, Michael and Alice were content. Alice might have welcomed more, but the union of a Goddess and a Primal rarely resulted in offspring. It was a common belief that Guardians were simply too powerful to conceive easily. This theory served as a popular explanation for why new Primal and Guardians did not frequently appear.

In reality, Primal beings were not designed for reproduction. Composed of the Essence of the Origin, their singular purpose was the protection of the Origin Universe, leaving them without the biological means to multiply. However, Michael had started his journey as a common human before ascending as the New Primal. Whether he and Alice could conceive again remained a mystery.

One thing was certain: if Alice did become pregnant, the child would be extraordinary. Given the astronomical odds, a child born of the New Primal and a Goddess would likely be an even greater handful than Lucia.

Holding Alice firmly, Michael shifted the image to Frederik and Jacqueline in the Tritan Alliance. They had welcomed several children over the decades, though conception had become increasingly difficult as their Tiers rose, causing the biological drive to reproduce to fade.

Nevertheless, Frederik and Jacqueline were satisfied with their lives. They spent their time within the Tritan Alliance, acting as its protectors—even when no threats loomed—and cherishing their family time. They were considering leaving the Alliance in a few years to join the expedition led by Daniel and Rebecca, though they had not yet committed to the idea.

Kaleb found himself in a similar state of indecision.

Having become the head of the Zenovia house, he remained unsure of his next steps in this era of peace.
