Jason's Legion forces entered the castle and began a brutal extermination of the Jamani mercenaries, who were unaware of the death trap they were in. While various Legion units eliminated the mercenaries, Queen Diana led the charge, directing her subordinates to pursue those attempting to flee by airship. Meanwhile, Jason searched for the individual who had stabbed a superhuman earlier, vowing revenge. The Jamani, led by Calypso, fought fiercely but were overwhelmed by the relentless and seemingly immortal Legion forces. Calypso used a powerful artifact to freeze the Legion, allowing her remaining mercenaries to escape, while she vowed to kill the traitor who intentionally sabotaged their plans.
