Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 830: Are You The Overlord?

Liam departed from his subordinates and the other SMD agents, leaving them to pay their respects to Gina and the others at the restaurant. Liam, however, followed Jason obediently. Yet, Liam could never have fathomed that Jason was leading him to such a place! Liam struggled to comprehend the unfolding events! Every conceivable leader of the modern world was present in the room, and their expressions made it evident they hadn't been brought there willingly! How could Jason have possibly abducted all these leaders in such a short span, and what could Jason be orchestrating right now!? Liam knew Jason wasn't a cruel person, making it unlikely he'd gathered them merely to eliminate them, but a nervous sweat trickled down his neck as he observed Jason ascend the stage.
A magic circle materialized upon the stage, and from its depths, a majestic high chair accompanied by a small table ascended. Jason walked towards the chair, placed his briefcase on the table, and then settled down calmly, finally directing his gaze at the still-standing leaders. Stella positioned herself one step behind Jason's chair, to his right, holding her hands clasped before her, much like the high-class maids Liam had observed previously. Jason raised his right hand and slowly lowered it, a gesture the leaders interpreted as permission to be seated. Subdued, almost automaton-like, the leaders took their seats, and Jason offered a single nod before finally breaking the silence.
"I comprehend your confusion regarding my decision to convene you all here today."
"We are far beyond merely confused. Your actions constitute a crime of the highest international magnitude! You will face the International Supreme Court of Justice once this ordeal concludes!"
The Supreme Leader of North Korea suddenly interjected from the side, his brow furrowed. Jason calmly turned his attention towards the man. Jason's gaze pierced the leader's mind like a searing laser; though Jason emanated no mana, the leader felt an overwhelming, impossible pressure thrusting him down into his seat! The Supreme Leader nervously swallowed and averted his gaze in palpable fear. Jason maintained his stare for a few more seconds before resuming his address.
"As I was saying, I am aware of your bewilderment as to why I have summoned you all here today. Rest assured, all will be elucidated in due course. However, before we delve into discussions, there are a few matters I wish to impart. You see, I recently encountered a predicament involving the previous overlord of this Domain, which necessitated my departure from Earth for a considerable period. Although this journey was thrust upon me by circumstance, I consider it a profound blessing for the immense broadening of my horizons.
"I have been afforded the privilege of traversing this Primordial Domain from end to end and encountering numerous formidable individuals. I have witnessed just rulers, malevolent tyrants, powerful dictators, and beings surpassing human comprehension. I have beheld kingdoms of unparalleled beauty, exceeding human imagination, and worlds so primitive they verged on the comical. Yet, the most significant realization that resonated with me throughout my months of travel is the undeniable truth: humanity is drastically underdeveloped. In fact, it would be no exaggeration to state that we rank among the weakest races in our Primordial Domain. Amongst all the races present, we reside closer to the bottom twenty percent than to the elite. And this situation necessitates a change."
A palpable wave of shock swept through the room upon Jason's declaration. Many leaders began to murmur amongst themselves, questioning Jason's sanity. None of them wished to truly accept that the world they had inhabited their entire lives was, in reality, one of the weakest within their Primordial Domain! While the concept of the Primordial Domain remained unknown to most humans, many leaders present were aware of it and the Primordial Expanse due to their influential positions. The organization known as Gaia collaborated closely with many world leaders to intercept any inter-world travelers, thus requiring these leaders to possess knowledge of such matters for effective cooperation with Gaia! However, mere awareness of the Primordial Domain did not equate to an understanding of the true power wielded by those worlds!
In the entire room, only one individual did not find Jason's assertion questionable. Jason directed his gaze toward the front row as Cerci calmly stood up. Cerci looked towards Jason, silently seeking permission to speak, and Jason inclined his head in assent before Cerci posed a critical inquiry.
"Just now, as you were speaking, and earlier as you were being introduced, I heard the term Overlord being mentioned. From what Gaia has gathered, we are aware that this term is used to identify the individual who presides over a Primordial Domain and rules all the worlds within that domain. It is a prestigious title that is only granted to the most powerful mages in the Primordial Expanse. Now, I do not wish to make any false assumptions, so I am going to ask a straightforward question. Jason, are you the Overlord of the Sixth Domain?"
It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop in the room as everyone turned their gaze to Jason, filled with curiosity. Many leaders felt a strange unease stirring within their hearts as they awaited his response! The situation was already daunting enough with the most formidable man in the world originating from a single country. Now, Cerci’s question unveiled an entirely new possibility, hinting that Jason might also be the most powerful individual throughout their entire domain! Every soul present understood that the power dynamics of the whole Domain could potentially be reshaped completely based on Jason’s answer! Not only would Earth rapidly become the nexus of all economic and interspecies relations within the Primordial Domain, but if Jason's assertion about their world being among the weakest in this Domain held true, his ascension as Overlord would thrust Earth into a spotlight for which it was entirely unprepared!
With nervous anticipation, the leaders waited for Jason’s reply. Their deepest anxieties seemed to manifest as Jason casually leaned back in his seat and responded in a composed tone.
"You are right. Before I made my return to Earth, I attended a meeting with the Council of Nine and One, the body that governs the Primordial Expanse. After careful deliberation, I was formally instated as the Sixth Seat on the council and subsequently became the Overlord of this Primordial Domain."
"Holy shit."
Although no one could pinpoint who uttered the exclamation, every single person in the room shared the identical sentiment at that very moment! A significant portion of the leaders had previously viewed Jason as merely another potent individual seeking to leverage his might for dominance. However, they now recognized that Jason was far more than just a man possessing considerable strength! Jason held the prestigious position of Overlord for their Domain, and at this juncture, he possessed the absolute right to preside over them!
Cerci took a deliberate breath, exhaling slowly. To Jason’s surprise, a faint smile graced Cerci’s lips.
