Leaders from around the world find themselves abducted and held captive by powerful beings. The superhumans among them recognize the immense threat, far surpassing their own strength. Amidst the fear and confusion, accusations fly, with many blaming Jason Marc and the US for his actions, while the Americans claim ignorance and point to Jason's power gained from his travels, a power beyond their control.

Conventional wisdom suggested that no one would dare associate with the family of an individual rumored to surpass the Primordials. However, this very oversight may prove to be a grave error. The American government, it turns out, had no true grasp of Jason’s capabilities. Furthermore, the meteoric rise of his power, achieved in such a compressed timeframe, rendered him beyond their capacity for control. From the perspective of the Chief Commander, Jason represented an uncontrollable anomaly.

Several other leaders also voiced their dissent, but their objections were swiftly silenced when Cerci, speaking for the first time since his arrival, interjected.

"We cannot place the blame on the Americans. The fault lies entirely with me."

All attention, filled with curiosity, shifted to Cerci. Every individual present was acquainted with Cerci, the global leader of the Gaia branches. He had personally engaged in dealings with most of the leaders in the room. Cerci’s network was so extensive that it extended even to the clandestine operations of the Black Market Guild, along with numerous other illicit activities conducted by various nations. Folding his arms across his chest, he leaned back and continued.

"The onus of managing Jason should have rested upon Gaia’s shoulders, yet we faltered. I made the misguided assumption that Jason was as placid as Richard, intending to cultivate a similar rapport with him as I once shared with his father. But unlike Richard, Jason proved far less amenable, despite his awareness that we represented a necessary evil. The situation escalated beyond our control due to my failure to anticipate this divergence. However, the Chief Commander of the Enforcers is accurate in his assessment. Had Jason desired our demise, we would already be deceased. Therefore, let us grant him the courtesy of hearing him out. I am confident he is already en route."

Boom!

The entire chamber resonated with a surge of immense power, causing the occupants to whirl around in astonishment, feeling an overwhelming aura of oppressive mana descend upon them. The doors at the rear of the hall swung open, and the assembled leaders watched in stunned silence as a magnificent woman, clad in a maid’s attire, emerged alongside Liam James, the current head of the SMD in Riverdale. Liam’s expression was one of bewildered shock as he surveyed the gathered dignitaries, yet he dared not utter a word, meekly following in Stella’s wake. Stella proceeded to a designated spot, standing with her hands clasped before her, and surveyed the meeting room with a stern glare.

"My designation is Stella, and I serve as a retainer of the Marc household. I shall preside over today’s proceedings as the proctor. As esteemed guests of His Majesty the Prince, you are expected to demonstrate the requisite respect. Failure to do so will result in appropriate measures being taken. Now, I command you to rise."

Boom!

Stella’s power suddenly radiated throughout the room, causing the leaders to tremble as they felt the potent mana pressing down upon them. Stella’s mana alone surpassed that of most Legion subordinates who had apprehended them. The leaders realized that compliance was their most judicious course of action. Having been brought here against their will, with no knowledge of their location or impending fate, they found themselves with precious little recourse. Slowly, the leaders began to stand, and Stella, once certain they were all on their feet, nodded before turning to announce Jason’s arrival.

"His Majesty, Prince Jason of Avaran, Bearer of the Blood Oath of Fire, and Sovereign of the Sixth Domain, will now make his entrance."

Jason entered the chamber with an air of composed indifference, his gaze sweeping across the astonished visages of the assembled leaders. He was attired in black slacks and a black shirt, over which the [Cloak of Invisibility] was draped. His feet were clad in combat boots, and his hands bore a pair of black artifact gloves. Though unintentional, Jason’s current ensemble evoked the image of a formidable gang leader, further amplifying the apprehension felt by the leaders. In his right hand, he carried a black briefcase, sparking intense speculation among the leaders as to its contents. Jason scrutinized the palpable fear etched on each leader’s face before turning his attention to Stella, a single eyebrow arched in inquiry. Stella had implored Jason to permit her to enter and introduce him first, a request he had granted, recognizing its potential to facilitate matters. Yet, was this presentation not somewhat excessive?

’It feels akin to those medieval monarchs making a grand entrance at a ball. While not precisely mortifying, I would have preferred to forgo such a spectacle had the choice been mine.’

A chuckle echoed in Jason’s mind, and he dismissed the thought, deciding it was inconsequential. While the introduction felt rather theatrical, Jason didn’t dispute it, understanding its necessity. He could sense the palpable tension escalating with each passing second within the room. It was abundantly clear that no one relished being summoned, yet Jason remained indifferent, his focus solely on the stage as he began to walk towards it, Stella a silent shadow following his lead.

"Take a seat wherever you please."

Jason gestured to the vacant chairs when he addressed Liam, who promptly nodded and proceeded to find a spot near the other American leaders. Liam had encountered Jason only moments earlier as he was departing for the meeting. The original intention was a simple greeting, a welcome home for Jason after his prolonged absence. Gaia had conducted a thorough analysis of Jason’s mana during his meal with his family; once deemed non-threatening to those nearby, the perimeter blockade was lifted, permitting other agencies, such as the SMD, to finally advance. Liam had driven to the restaurant accompanied by his two trusted aides, and upon his arrival, he was taken aback to witness Jason heading somewhere with purpose. Jason had been engaged in a hushed conversation with Gina near the restaurant’s entrance, and Liam only caught the concluding words of their exchange:

"...I will speak with them regarding the impending events. We can visit your parents once I’m finished."

Gina responded with a nod and a smile, bestowing a kiss upon Jason. Liam’s astonishment grew when Jason then turned and kissed two more stunning women! The situation defied his understanding, yet he couldn’t shake the uncanny resemblance to wives bidding their husbands farewell as they departed for work! What kind of complex relationship was Jason involved in?

Shaking his head to dispel the intrusive thoughts, Liam observed Jason depart the restaurant, a personal maid trailing discreetly behind him. As Jason drew nearer, he cast a discerning look in Liam’s direction. Jason emitted a soft hum of curiosity, his eyes narrowing slightly. A flicker of unease stirred within Liam under Jason’s scrutiny, and he couldn’t help but feel as though he was being judged. However, in the next instant, Jason gave a decisive nod and motioned for Liam to follow.

"I suppose you should accompany us."

This brief statement was all Jason offered, leaving Liam with no option but to fall into step behind him.
