Queen Hesabeth of the Minori Royal Family arrives on Earth in a royal carriage, causing shock and reverence among observers. She is there to meet Jason's mother, Mira, and, despite her usual confidence, feels uncharacteristically nervous about the encounter. Riyala reassures Hesabeth, who then enters the restaurant to meet Jason, Gina, and Mira.

Mira felt a wave of bewilderment wash over her as events unfolded rapidly. Already stunned by Hesabeth's arrival in an opulent carriage, Mira's eyes widened upon seeing the breathtaking woman emerge. She instantly recognized that this woman was no ordinary human! Although Mira hadn't encountered many individuals from other realms, she possessed an innate ability to discern if someone hailed from Earth. Just as she knew Riyala wasn't from Earth, she sensed Hesabeth was an extraterrestrial!

Hesabeth approached Mira, who watched in awe as Hesabeth executed a flawless curtsy, the most perfect Mira had ever witnessed. Placing a hand on her cheek, Mira inquired,"Oh my. What is all this, dear? Are you a friend of Jason’s?"

Hesabeth offered a smile, standing with regal grace, and then declared,"My name is Hesabeth, Queen of the Minori and overseer of the Seventh Domain. I am a woman blessed by this world, my existence safeguarded by the Primordial Expanse itself. Today, I have journeyed here to offer my respects and seek your blessing to unite with your son, Jason Marc. I am confident in my worthiness to stand by his side and vow to bring honor to your family through this union."

Hesabeth's tone was remarkably respectful, a stark contrast to how Jason had ever heard her speak. He realized the profound significance of this moment for her. Was this a customary practice in her world? Jason turned to his mother, hearing her sharp intake of breath, and chuckled sheepishly as he noticed her jaw hanging open in astonishment! Mira pressed a hand to her mouth, her gaze flitting between Hesabeth and Jason, then back again! Her eyes then swept towards both Gina and Riyala as she posed a serious question,"Is this some kind of joke? Jason, are you trying to trick me?"

Mira turned to Jason with a slight frown, but he offered a reassuring smile and a shake of his head. Upon seeing his reaction, Mira felt faint, and Hesabeth quickly moved to support her before she could collapse. Jason took a step towards his mother, but Mira raised her hand, assuring them she was alright. Honestly, Mira was at a loss for words! Was Jason truly intending to marry three women simultaneously? Mira already acknowledged Jason's character, similar to his father, and had accepted Riyala into the family with Gina's consent. However, adding another woman to the fold felt overwhelming.

From the side, Juliet, Janet, and Francis observed the unfolding scene with wide eyes! None dared to utter a sound, utterly disbelief at what they had just heard! This exquisite Queen wished to marry Jason!? What was happening? Even Juliet, aware of Jason's relationships with Gina and Riyala, found the declaration unbelievable! Hesabeth exuded such radiance, reminding Juliet of the princesses from her storybooks. How had Jason managed to capture the heart of such a remarkable woman!

"Come along."

Both Juliet and Francis started upon hearing Stella's voice in their ears. They turned to find Stella standing behind the counter. Employing a skill to communicate privately, Stella narrowed her eyes and continued,"This is a family matter. I believe it would be best to allow them to discuss it privately. Please, come with me."

Stella headed towards the kitchen, and after a moment's hesitation, Francis and Juliet followed, leaving the family to their conversation. Juliet, however, resolved to seek clarification from Riyala about the entire affair later.

Mira placed a hand on her forehead, gratefully acknowledging Hesabeth as the latter guided her to a chair. Mira looked up at the four individuals before her. Jason appeared entirely composed, while Gina and Riyala seemed subtly anxious. Hesabeth maintained a calm demeanor, yet Mira sensed an underlying nervousness. Hesabeth then stepped forward, and Mira gasped as Hesabeth gracefully knelt at Mira's feet. A collective gasp rippled through the room, and the Minori soldier holding the whisper stone nearly dropped it in shock! However, he quickly regained his composure, straightening his stance and respectfully averting his gaze. The soldier understood the significance of this custom, recognizing that it was conventional for a new wife to show deference to her mother-in-law. He was simply astonished to witness his Queen kneeling before anyone.

"I understand this isn't the usual way things are done here on Earth. Jason has shared a great deal about his world and his family with me. Therefore, I'm aware that this is a rather selfish request, and honestly, one I feel I don't deserve to make. Nevertheless, I still wish for you to welcome me into your family. I... I don't hold fond memories of my own birth mother. I was never able to accept the woman who brought me into this world as my mother. So, rather than her, I would prefer to have you give your blessing to my marriage. If it were you, I would be truly happy to call you mother."

Mira felt a subtle quiver in her heart as she gazed upon Hesabeth's beautiful smile. She offered Hesabeth a gentle smile in return, softly caressing her cheek. Had it been anyone else, Hesabeth would have inwardly recoiled from such a touch. Yet, for reasons unknown, she found herself not minding Mira's maternal gestures. Despite Hesabeth's many centuries of existence stretching far beyond Mira's, there was an inherent maternal quality about Mira that compelled Hesabeth to acknowledge her as an elder.

Mira let out a soft sigh, contemplating the feasibility of such an arrangement. Mira was aware that she herself had entered into a similar dynamic with Richard. However, the longevity of that relationship stemmed from Mira's limited interactions with her co-wives. She had spent approximately twenty years with Richard, and during that entire period, she had only encountered one of her sister-wives. While that meeting had been pleasant, Mira couldn't definitively say how things might have unfolded had she spent more time with her other sister-wives. Would they have truly gotten along harmoniously?

"I am uncertain if I can fully endorse this. Are you all certain this is precisely what you desire? You are young, and I recognize the love you share. However, a relationship like this requires more than mere affection. Mutual understanding is crucial, and you must accept that this is a lifelong commitment. You cannot embark on this path unless you are completely prepared for that reality."

Mira's gaze shifted upwards towards Riyala, Gina, and Jason. Gina offered a warm smile as she moved closer, kneeling beside Mira. She then settled at Mira's feet, placing her hands gently upon Mira's lap. Gina smiled, offering a reassuring nod to Mira.

"We are sure, Mom. We have all discussed this thoroughly, and I am confident we can make it work. We all love Jason deeply, and we fully comprehend the nature of this commitment. We are ready to remain together for the rest of our lives."
