Jason and Gina arrive on Earth, their immense power causing tremors. Cercei attempts to speak with Jason, but Jason dismisses him, stating he needs to talk to everyone. Jason then reunites with his mother, Mira, and later greets Gina.

"Jason!"

Janet rushed towards Jason, her movements filled with palpable joy, and launched herself into his embrace. Laughter erupted from Jason as he spun his sister around in a playful whirl! Initially, Janet had been taken aback by the overwhelming power Jason had been radiating earlier. However, in this moment, his strength was secondary to her happiness; she was simply overjoyed that Jason had returned! Meanwhile, Gina and Juliet shared a warm hug, with Juliet offering a heartfelt welcome back. Francis, ever the formal one, bowed respectfully to Gina. Gina, however, simply rolled her eyes and pulled him into a brief hug, finding his constant formality amusing.

Once Jason and Janet parted, Janet scrutinized him with a broad, beaming smile. Comparing their heights, she remarked,

"Did you get even taller? I can hardly reach your shoulder now! And your hair has grown so long. When was the last time you had it cut?"

Jason's laughter boomed at her words. He playfully ruffled Janet's hair, teasing that she was the one who had shrunk! Janet's cheeks flushed as she playfully struck Jason's chest. A chuckle escaped Jason as he inquired about her well-being.

"Have you been consuming those magic stones like I instructed you to?"

Before his departure, Jason had left explicit directions for both Janet and Maya to ingest as many mana stones as possible to bolster their strength. Jason understood Janet's disinterest in the superhuman realm and monster battles. Maya, being too young, was also shielded from engaging with formidable monsters. Nevertheless, even without direct combat, mana stones offered a viable path to increased power. Janet's gaze shifted downward, a faint blush coloring her cheeks upon hearing his question. Jason, extending his senses, gauged Janet's current power level. A low hum emanated from him as he noted she was merely an A-Rank. With a gentle frown, he flicked her forehead.

"You've been neglecting your training, haven't you?"

Janet clutched her forehead, a yelp of mild pain escaping her lips!

"Ouch! I-I haven't been slacking! I still train daily! It's just that... well... the mana stones have a rather unpleasant taste. I really don't like eating them."

Jason let out a huff of disbelief at his sister's explanation! In his entire life, he had never imagined hearing such a justification! While Jason acknowledged that mana stones were hardly a culinary delight, often possessing a flavor akin to a bizarre concoction of rock, metal, and blood, he believed that when it came to augmenting one's strength, taste was an irrelevant factor. If it offered a path to becoming stronger, he would consume it without hesitation! He patted his sister's head once more, a dangerous smile gracing his lips as he spoke.

"Your current instructors are far too lenient. While I don't mind if you skip training sessions, these mana stones are crucial for your development. Perhaps I should find someone who will make sure you don't shirk your duty of consuming them? I have a subordinate who excels at precisely that kind of motivation."

Janet offered a nervous smile, her voice stammering a firm promise that she would indeed consume the stones henceforth. Jason simply chuckled, ruffling her hair again and reiterating the importance of her following through with her commitment! Finally, Jason turned his attention to Juliet, extending his hand towards her. Juliet stepped forward eagerly, her body melting into Jason's embrace in a hug filled with yearning. A profound tremor coursed through Juliet's form as Jason's arms encircled her, a wave of security washing over her as she exhaled a shaky breath. Juliet realized she had missed Jason far more than she could have ever anticipated, and she was undoubtedly among the most joyous individuals to witness his return! A few moments later, as Jason released her, he smiled, noticing the tears shimmering on Juliet's cheeks.

"Did you miss me that much?"

Jason delivered this query with a playful, teasing smile. Juliet responded with a scoff, attempting to wipe away her tears with renewed vigor. She declared,

"These are merely tears of pure joy, you understand. I'm simply contemplating the immense amount of paperwork that will no longer burden me. There's enough work accumulated to keep you occupied for at least several years, so don't even entertain the thought of leaving anytime soon."

Jason emitted a nervous laugh, gently patting Juliet's head. He expressed his gratitude for her unwavering dedication and hard work. Jason recognized Juliet as one of the pivotal figures who sustained his guild during his prolonged absence. Her responsibilities, by design, were confined to maintaining his public image and acting as the liaison between him and Tenet. However, Juliet had far surpassed these expectations, undertaking tasks that were at least twenty times more demanding than her original role! Jason resolved to ensure Juliet received a substantial reward for her exceptional efforts.

'Especially considering I fully intend to depart Earth once more in the future. Juliet will undoubtedly need to maintain her diligence and dedication moving forward as well.'

An inexplicable thought crossed Jason's mind, sending a shiver down Juliet’s spine. She narrowed her eyes, glaring up at him, but Jason deftly evaded her knowing gaze, keeping his thoughts hidden! Francis was the last to greet Jason. He approached with his characteristic impassive expression, offering a respectful salute. For a fleeting moment, Jason’s eyes narrowed at Francis. In that instant, a primal fear seized Francis as he felt Jason’s formidable aura wash over him! However, the moment passed as quickly as it arrived, leaving Francis in stunned silence as Jason extended his hand.

"When things settle down, you and I are going to have a long talk about my sister."

Jason leaned in, whispering these words during their handshake. Francis’ eyes widened further as Jason released his hand and calmly patted him on the shoulder. Each pat felt like the cold touch of an executioner’s blade against Francis’ neck, causing him to flinch subtly as he struggled to conceal his terror! Jason nodded, seeking confirmation, and Francis responded with a desperate nod! The peculiar exchange between the two men did not go unnoticed by anyone present, but when Jason finally spoke, his words carried an undeniable weight.

"I hear you stepped up to take charge of the combat unit while I was gone. That’s good. You’ve worked hard to make sure the fighters came home safe every time. I’m proud of you, Francis."

Francis was taken aback by the genuine appreciation evident on Jason’s face. A surge of pride swelled in his chest, and a smile bloomed as he met Jason’s gaze! Francis offered another respectful nod, and after one final pat on the shoulder from Jason, Mira finally interjected!

"Now that everyone is done with the greetings, it’s time for us to eat!"

"!"

Mira suddenly halted as a new mana signature permeated the restaurant. Jason hummed, a small smile playing on his lips as he recognized the approaching signatures. Gina chuckled with amusement, and Jason turned to his surprised mother.

"Mom, there’s someone that I’d like you to meet. She’s a bit... eccentric. But she’s a good person. I promise. Just don’t take her personality too personally."

Mira looked on in confusion, but catching Gina’s amused smile, she understood. This must be someone close to Jason and Gina, perhaps someone they encountered during their travels. Mira nodded to Jason, assuring him she understood. In the very next moment, the distinct sound of galloping horses echoed through the street!
