Farlow harvested two Moon Dew Fruits from the guarded tree, which uprooted and fled into the forest. He entrusted the fruits to Gina, who entered the Spirit Queen's cave in spirit form, leaving her body behind. Gina offered one fruit but withheld the second, bargaining for the Elven Queen's spirit, which annoyed the Spirit Queen.

’Are you truly trying to bargain with me, child? I am the queen of all spirits of the wind. If I wished for it, I could take your spirit and trap it within my domain for all eternity. I could refuse to return the Elven Queen’s spirit, and have it cast into the River of the Afterlife! I could eradicate all of Arandelle with nothing but a thought! What gives you the right to assume that you can bargain with me~!?’

Gina endured the complete force of the Spirit Queen’s fury without a word, yet she stood resolute in her choice, patiently awaiting the Spirit Queen to deliver what she demanded! The Spirit Queen scrutinized Gina intently, and momentarily, the cave’s pressure intensified dramatically! Gina truly believed an attack was imminent right then, but shock gripped her as the Spirit Queen abruptly tilted her head back and burst into laughter! Gina exhaled a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding as the oppressive atmosphere lifted, and the Spirit Queen circled Gina with a grin.

’You have quite the fiery spirit, young child. To think you would consider bargaining with someone who is so much more powerful than you! Haha... Very well, I respect your tenacity, so I will grant you your wish. But keep in mind that I am only doing this because I respect your desire to see your mission accomplished. Should something like this repeat itself, then it would be far less amusing.’

A piercing glare from the Spirit Queen struck Gina with those final words, causing Gina to swallow hard in silence before nodding her agreement! The Spirit Queen’s smile returned, and Gina observed the Queen’s form starting to transform! Light blue particles resembling the Elven Queen’s skin gradually detached from the Spirit Queen’s body, clustering together off to the side and shaping into a vibrant blue orb that darted excitedly through the chamber! The Spirit Queen’s look had altered completely—her skin now possessed a deeper tone, her hair shifting from blonde to a warm honey-brown shade. This fresh guise remained stunningly gorgeous, leading Gina to recognize that the Spirit Queen had adopted the form of yet another mortal spirit under her control. Gina pondered endlessly how vast the Queen’s collection of spirits must be! The ease with which the Spirit Queen surrendered the Elven Queen’s appearance clearly indicated she had numerous alternatives at her disposal!

Extending her hand, the Spirit Queen drew the blue orb gently into her grasp. She then faced Gina and declared.

’Well then, I have fulfilled my end of the bargain. Now hand over the fruit before you draw my anger.’

Gina observed that the Spirit Queen’s voice had transformed alongside her looks, though she chose not to remark on it, simply passing over the fruit. With a beaming smile, the Spirit Queen seized the fruit while simultaneously freeing the blue orb! It swiftly darted to Gina, orbiting her with enthusiasm before shooting out of the cave! Gina understood the orb was heading back to the Elven Queen’s limp form, so she hoped the Queen would revive by the time she and Farlow arrived.

Clutching the fruit tightly to her bosom like a delighted child with a fresh plaything, the Spirit Queen let out a joyful squeal, and Gina breathed a deep sigh of relief upon completing this task. Honestly, Gina had experienced no tension or thrill during this errand compared to her adventures alongside Jason, yet she couldn’t deny her satisfaction in aiding Farlow and his kin.

’Oh, yes, before I forget. Tell me, how are you and your spirit getting along?’

Turning toward Gina, the Spirit Queen inquired abruptly. She greedily hugged the fruit close, her expression brimming with curiosity about Gina’s rapport with the assigned spirit. Fury ignited within Gina at the question, erupting in an instant shout!

"Ulyn has been completely useless!"

An eyebrow arched in surprise on the Spirit Queen as Ulyn’s voice rang out from near Gina’s shoulder, her form materializing!

’What!? Who are you calling useless!?’

"You! You’re completely useless! Your majesty, can you believe Ulyn refused to help me against the Valkan! I was calling on her, but she refused to do anything!"

’And so what!? If you can’t handle something that weak, then how dare you call yourself a Spirit Arts User in the first place!! If anyone is useless here, then it’s you! Mom, this is why I said I didn’t want to be her companion! I knew she would try to blame me for all her failures!’

Gina and Ulyn whirled toward one another, squabbling like petulant kids, while the Spirit Queen sighed wearily, akin to a mother exhausted by her offspring’s quarrels. Truthfully, this outcome didn’t surprise the Spirit Queen. Ulyn ranked among her most troublesome daughters due to her lofty expectations! Both Ulyn and Gina brimmed with potential, and the Queen had anticipated Gina’s drive would spark Ulyn’s rivalry, fostering mutual growth! Clearly, their stubborn natures prevented effective collaboration.

With another sigh, the Spirit Queen intervened calmly to halt the childish spat.

"Alright, that’s enough. Gina, I’m sorry about Ulyn. She has always been a rebellious girl, so I hope you won’t be too angry at her. But Ulyn is right about you not needing her for that monster. If you had to use Ulyn to defeat a monster of that caliber, then you would only be showing that I had judged your potential wrongly. So you should be proud of the fact that you didn’t need your Spirit in order to win."

A faint blush colored Gina’s cheeks from the Spirit Queen’s dual praise and scolding. It felt exactly like a mother disciplining her daughter, and Gina nodded meekly, embracing the wisdom. Shifting to Ulyn, the Queen adopted a sterner voice.

’And as for you, Ulyn. I am very disappointed in you –’

’But, mum-!’

’No buts! I told you that this was your last chance. You have insulted the sacred bond between Spirit and mortals far too many times already, and I will not tolerate any more of it. I am warning you, Ulyn. If your hubris leads to your partner breaking your connection, then you will be going to Harken.’

Shock made Ulyn gasp upon hearing this, leaving Gina puzzled about what Harken entailed.

Among spirits, Harken served as a pivotal realm at the heart of the Spirit world within the Primordial Expanse. Resembling the River of the Afterlife, it fell under the dominion of a Spirit Warden called the Wraith, who managed the flow of all spirits. When a ruler banished a spirit to Harken, it became the Wraith’s servant, doomed to eternal labor in the Spirit realm without hope of mortal return! This punishment ranked as one of the direst for spirits, owing to Harken’s dull monotony! Though many spirits shunned mortal dealings, the living world offered far greater excitement than Harken’s tedium! Exiling a spirit there equated to a lifetime sentence behind bars!
