Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 745: Let Go of Your Resentment
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
Rak’hael recounted to Mik’hael every event involving Jason from the previous few months. She described Jason's clash with Rubik in the trial, his flight to restore his reputation, and the devastating massacre of the Machina race.
"Then came another incident with Queen Hesbeath of the Minori, causing even more casualties, along with various other matters. Yet in our latest council meeting, I was stunned by what they proposed. Can you imagine? Some actually suggested adding Jason to the council—a man with such a notorious criminal past?"
Rak’hael glanced at Mik’hael, hoping for agreement, but his face showed only sharp curiosity. With a sly smile and narrowed eyes, Mik’hael posed a straightforward question.
"This Jason Marc from Earth. Is he powerful?"
Typical— that's all he'd focus on from my tale. Rak’hael sighed wearily, realizing she'd vented to the wrong soul! Her brother was an utter battle maniac! Yet, to her surprise, Mik’hael composed himself upon seeing her sincere worry, grasping the gravity of the issue. He hummed thoughtfully before inquiring.
"Why oppose Jason joining the council so fiercely? Would it truly be disastrous?"
Rak’hael scowled.
"Why oppose it? Isn't it clear? He's a criminal. Do you realize how many innocents he's slain?"
"Rak’hael, neither of us can claim moral superiority in slaughter. We've both unleashed genocides in the war."
Rak’hael winced and averted her eyes from Mik’hael’s stern stare, frowning deeply! Why must he always dredge up those memories? Though no longer on the frontlines, Rak’hael once fought alongside Mik’hael on the battlefield, where her kills dwarfed Jason's Machina slaughter—like mere child's play! Tallying her victims might hit a billion! But that was the Period of Lawlessness; she fought to shield her kin! All those she felled struck first or schemed against them! She had no alternative!
Mik’hael sighed softly at his sister’s tormented look. Deep down, he knew Rak’hael loathed killing. Despite equal potential, Mik’hael surpassed her because he faced no qualms with bloodshed! He could slay a million at dawn, lunch cheerfully, then massacre another million by dusk without a flicker! Rak’hael couldn't manage that; each death pierced her soul like a blade! Thus, she fit the Overlord of the Second Domain role better than he—caring deeply for lives, unlike him!
Mik’hael hummed again before questioning.
"You mentioned Jason Marc isn't purely human? What's his other heritage?"
Tension thickened around Rak’hael instantly; she looked away and muttered faintly at the floor. Mik’hael blinked, approached, and urged her to speak up. This time, her words reached him just clearly enough.
"He’s an Avaran."
Mik’hael exhaled loudly and shook his head!
"Of course. It all clicks now."
"What do you mean, it clicks! This isn't just because of that!"
"Really?"
"Really!"
Rak’hael yelled in fury, and Mik’hael fixed her with the flattest stare she'd ever gotten! Her cheeks flushed with rage; she shoved off the table and stormed from Mik’hael! Utter nonsense!
"Listen, it doesn't matter! All I'm saying is Jason doesn't belong on that council!"
Mik’hael shook his head, choosing to drop the debate. When she got this heated, persuasion was futile. He knew her Avaran grudge stemmed from Richard's long-ago abandonment, but she couldn't cling to it forever.
"Just give the guy a shot. If judging him, don't let past shadows cloud you. We're angels—holding grudges this long isn't good for us. But this Jason Marc from Earth sounds intriguing. I might pay him a visit. He missed the Period of Lawlessness, but from the tales, he'd have thrived then."
Rak’hael snorted in sharp dissent, jabbing a finger at Mik’hael!
"Don't you dare near the sixth Domain! Got it!? I won't let your wild battlelust spark an interdomain war! Striking Jason first would cost us billions in council fines!"
Mik’hael grinned!
"So I just need him to strike first, huh? Noted."
Rak’hael sighed in exhaustion, letting it slide! Mik’hael wouldn't alter his nature, so why bother? She pulled a document from her drawer, slid it over the desk to him. Mik’hael snatched it up and skimmed as Rak’hael explained.
"New mission for you. Primordial Rank, so read it thoroughly. Suspicious activity at the Primordial Zone's eastern border. Suspected powerful Primordial Army breaching the Primordial Filament. It endangers our domain's eastern citizens, so investigate for false alarm. Report any Primordial traces at once."
Mik’hael furrowed his brow.
"At once?"
"Yes, immediately. No joking—this forbids clashes with any Primordials. Return to alert the worlds and prepare defenses. Understood?"
Mik’hael sighed lightly, saluted Rak’hael, and headed out. But as he reached the door, her voice trailed after him.
"Great seeing you again, Mik’hael. Return safely, please."
Mik’hael smiled and shut the door.

[The Forest of Eternal Wind]
[With Gina and Farlow]
Gina leaped over a massive branch, soared skyward, and unleashed a barrage of wind blades everywhere! They sliced through the air, shredding hundreds of enormous wasps before they neared, as Gina dropped back to the forest floor amid the plummeting insects! Nearby, Farlow summoned a wind barrier to halt a charging giant bear-beast marked with red patterns. Effortlessly, his winds hoisted it aloft, then crushed it against a tree with a hand flick! Gina and Farlow had journeyed nearly six hours, nearing the forest spirits' home, where beasts now swarmed in greater numbers.
