Jason and Valeria make their way across the Zeroth Domain, checking in on Gina and the family back on Earth. Agiel trains relentlessly to prove her strength. Jason and his crew stop at the bustling trading world of Nue for supplies before continuing their journey to Bal’ina.

Jason had spoken to Gina about what Stella told him in the bedroom the other day, and Jason asked her if Stella had mentioned anything about this to her, and the answer Jason got was something he did not expect.

"Yes, babe, we spoke about it. Stella understands that she’s just our maid, so she isn’t trying to join our relationship. But she really loves you, so it’s alright."

Jason hadn’t been too surprised by the answer since Jason knew Gina was okay with having other women in the relationship, and Jason simply stored that information away for some other time before going on to ask Gina how things were going back at home. After that conversation with Gina, Jason didn’t really change anything about the way he treated Stella. Jason would actually be fine with their relationship staying the same, but Jason also made up his mind that he wouldn’t turn her away if she made another advance towards him later.

Jason and Stella continued making their way back to the ship through the busy streets. Jason was the one who had actually suggested walking back to the ship rather than using the shadows. It had been almost two months since Jason began spending all this time with the crew on the ship, and it was getting a little suffocating in there, so Jason wanted a few minutes to relax before they had to continue their journey.

The two young siblings, Arte and Tsara, had really settled in with the rest of the crew. Tsara had begun joining Stella in all of her duties and helping out around the ship whenever she could. There had been an incident sometime last week where the worker that Malovena had on the ship, Ruduls, had seen Tsara and immediately tried to propose to her. Tsara had obviously refused, but Ruduls simply would not listen since he was completely mesmerised by her beauty. Jason had thought about what to do for a few hours, and in the end, Jason decided to drop Ruduls off at one of the worlds on their way.

Jason didn’t mind having Ruduls on the ship, but he didn’t want this to become a problem, so Jason simply gave Ruduls enough money to survive and left him to figure himself out on the world. From what Jason saw through his subordinate, Ruduls had gone around aimlessly for a few days before he eventually joined another crew of mercenaries, and he was currently enjoying working under this new employer.

The younger boy, Arte, was probably one of the most interesting people Jason had ever met. Arte’s ability to always see into the truth of any matter made conversations with him very interesting since it was impossible to lie to him. The girls did not like Arte being around whenever they spoke to Jason, but whenever Jason was driving the ship, or they were just having a rest, the little boy was always around Jason and sitting on his lap while talking about the most insane things. Just the other day, Arte had told Jason how Valeria was planning to sneak out of the ship to go gamble, and Valeria had almost killed the little boy for exposing her secret.

Jason managed to stop Valeria from going anywhere, and that was actually the reason why Jason came out of the ship with Stella instead of Valeria. Jason already knew how uncontrollable his sister’s gambling addiction was, and Jason didn’t want to have to look for her all over Nue because of that.

"Master, did you notice them?"

Stella suddenly spoke up from behind Jason, and Jason hummed calmly as he glanced to his left, towards a small group of people who were watching them. Jason had noticed a while ago - almost more than an hour now - that there were people watching them. Jason didn’t know who the people were, and he didn’t recognise any of their mana signatures, but Jason knew that they were watching him because he had seen the same group of people more than three times in the last hour.

Jason didn’t know why they were following them, but Jason had already put some subordinates on them to see what they were up to. If the stalkers end up following them all the way to their ship, then Jason planned to deal with them before taking off. Jason could tell that Stella wanted to go and confront them already, but Jason gripped Stella’s hand tightly and kept moving. Stella looked up at Jason with a curious expression, and Jason simply shook his head discreetly.

"There’s no need to get involved. I’m dealing with it already."

Stella nodded to Jason’s order, and she simply continued to follow behind him as he made his way back to the ship. As they moved, the group that had been following them moved as well. Jason had put his subordinates all around the group, and from what Jason could feel through their mana, it seemed none of their stalkers were particularly strong. In fact, they were all TITAN Rank I or II, and there was even one of them that was an SSS Rank. What the hell were people like these doing following them around? Did someone else put them up to this? That was the only thing that made sense now. Jason was sure that they would run into trouble very soon, and as Jason and Stella finally got back to their ship, Jason told one of the assassins in his Legion to kill one of the stalkers and resurrect them. Jason wanted to know what they were planning.

Jason and Stella boarded the ship, and behind them, an assassin leapt out from the shadows and pulled a man into a dark alley to slit his throat.

"Captain is back!"

The excited voice of Arte rang through the ship once Jason entered, and Jason smiled as the young boy ran up to him and hugged him around the waist. Jason patted his head calmly, and he looked up as Tsara also walked out from inside the ship to greet him. Tsara bowed to Jason respectfully.

"W-welcome back, captain."

Although Tsara had become a lot more confident compared to when she had first met Jason, she was still a little shy around him since he was a man. It wasn’t normal for Tsara to be around a man that wasn’t affected by her allure, so Jason was one of the first men that she had spoken to in a long time. Jason smiled at her while still patting Arte’s head.

"Hey, Tsara. Hope Valeria didn’t give you any trouble while we were gone."

"And what sort of trouble have I been causing?"

Valeria walked out from inside the ship as well, with a small frown on her face. Valeria was only wearing a crop top that exposed her toned stomach, and shorts that hugged her bottom tightly. It was obvious that she had become very comfortable around Jason and the others. On Valeria’s left shoulder, the beautiful phoenix, Helios, was sitting calmly, and he let out a low cry when he saw Jason.

Jason just raised a brow at his sister when he heard her question, and he spoke up calmly.

"Haven’t you been leaving half-eaten snacks all around the ship for the past few days?"

Valeria’s eyes widened in shock, and she quickly tried to defend herself.

"That wasn’t me! It was this bastard!"

Valeria pointed to Helios, but Helios let out a low cry and looked at Valeria with an incredulous expression. How dare she blame him for this!? Jason shook his head disapprovingly!

"Now, Valeria, you shouldn’t be cursing in front of the kids. And I know you’re embarrassed, but you shouldn’t try to blame your eating habits on Helios."
