Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1168: Fire With Fire

The fire had gotten so intense that Valeria had to take off from the ground all the way on the other side of the city just to avoid getting hit by it. When two primordials fight, even the simplest skill from them was enough to affect everyone around them. The Pirate King gripped his sword tighter as he watched for any sign of movement, and for a moment, he actually believed that he might have killed Jason with that attack, but then the floor beneath his feet moved, and in the next moment, a massive worm erupted from the ground.

ROARRR!

The worm looked like something straight out of the demon realm, with a large mouth filled with sharp teeth that immediately clamped down on the Pirate King. The Pirate King unleashed his abilities again, and he sent a wave of fire all around him that destroyed the worm and made it evaporate into purple dust. Jason appeared from the Pirate King’s blind side with a spear in his hand, and Jason thrust the spear forward to try and stab the Pirate King through the chest. But the Pirate King sharply turned around with a wide smile, and he brought his sword down even faster.

WOOSH!

A wave of fire slammed into Jason and sent him flying through the air like a plane before he slammed into the ground in a massive explosion that sent a new wave of fire through the region. The Pirate King let out a victorious laugh as he raised his arms to the side.

"Do you see this!? This is the power of the Pirate King! It doesn’t matter how many of you there are, or how strong you believe you are! As long as the Pirate King lives, the world of Capri will always be mine!"

The Pirate King looked like he was on the verge of madness as he announced his victory, but he stopped quickly when he heard a cough coming from below him. The Pirate King looked down, and he saw Jason getting off the floor and dusting himself off calmly while letting out a few coughs to get rid of all the dust that had filled the region. Jason was so calm at that moment that you would never think that he was being surrounded by the most intense flames.

The Pirate King smiled before he spoke up in a condescending voice.

"Have you finally seen the gap between the two of us? If you want to survive to see the end of this day, then you had better turn around and run from here before I come for you again. Although even if you run, I have no intention of letting you go. You can’t come into my world to attack me and expect to get away without any consequences. That simply isn’t how things work in this world!"

The Pirate King had a self-satisfied expression on his face, like he had already won this battle and all he was doing was giving his victory speech before he would finally kill the intruder that dared to come into his world. But the Pirate King never expected Jason to suddenly talk in a calm, easygoing manner.

"You’re using an artefact to boost your strength, aren’t you? I want to guess it’s a PRIMORDIAL Rank artefact. There aren’t many TITAN Rank artefacts that can boost a PRIMORDIAL’s strength by so much. It’s about a 30% boost. Just enough for you to feel like you’re on top of the world. Am I right?"

The Pirate King’s eyes had already widened in shock when he heard Jason mention the artefact. The way Jason spoke and the ease that Jason was using to explain what the Artefact should be capable of was almost terrifying, and the Pirate King gripped his sword even tighter when he saw Jason’s knowing smile. This bastard. It was true that the Pirate King was using a PRIMORDIAL Rank artefact, and it was also true that it boosted his strength by about thirty percent. But why did that matter?

"You think you’re a smart-ass just because you figured out something so obvious! Yes, I’m using an Artefact to boost my strength, so what!? You’re still going to die here!"

BOOM!

The Pirate King shot towards Jason like a missile, and he pulled his sword back to take Jason’s head clean off, but Jason brought up a hand and used a simple skill.

[Lightning Bomb]!

KA-BOOM!

The Pirate King was thrown back through the air as lightning sparked all around him. The King slammed into a house on the other side of the city, and the entire house immediately crumbled down on him. Jason began walking forward calmly, and he watched as the Pirate King erupted from the building with a look of fury on his face. The Pirate King had obviously been stunned by Jason’s attack, and Jason watched as the Pirate King spoke up with even more anger on his face.

"I’m going to make sure I kill you even if it’s the last thing I do!"

The Pirate King shot after Jason once again with fire burning along his entire body, and this time, Jason decided to try something new.

CAW!

A massive crimson bird flew overhead as it sent a greeting towards Jason, and Jason ignored Helios completely. Instead, Jason called on his Qi, and he immediately began to filter his two powers together.

DOON!

The entire region seemed to grow even more tense as Jason’s new power surged through the air. The Pirate King almost fell out of the sky from shock when he sensed the new power from Jason. This wasn’t what Jason had just a few seconds ago. What in the world was this? The Pirate King was surprised for a few seconds, but then a look of condescending superiority came over his face as he looked at Jason, and the Pirate King said:

"Oh, so you also use an artefact to boost your strength! After everything you’ve said to me, I should’ve known that you were just a hypocrite."

The Pirate King completely believed that Jason’s sudden growth was also because of an artefact, and the king couldn’t believe Jason actually tried to lecture him on these things when he was also guilty of them. But all of a sudden, the mana in the air changed completely. The magic flowing from Jason completely vanished, and it was replaced by something dangerous and powerful. It was so powerful that the Pirate King actually felt all the instincts in his body warning him against being there. It was as if his own power was telling him that he couldn’t match the intensity of what Jason had just unleashed.

But the Pirate King was a stubborn man, and he refused to back down from the fight. It didn’t matter what Jason had brought forward, and it didn’t matter if Jason was using an artefact that boosted his strength! The King swore that he would finish this once and for all right there.

PHWOOM!

The Pirate King’s right arm was suddenly coated in a dark rocky material that looked like obsidian. The material caught on fire, and the hot magma burned like a furnace as the Pirate King shot off toward Jason. This was the full brunt of the Pirate King’s power, along with the boost from his artefact. The Pirate King was going all out to try and stop Jason from fully activating whatever he wanted to use. But Jason didn’t even bother moving. Jason’s right hand began to smoke, and Jason brought his hand forward as a crimson flame came to life around him before he pointed his hand towards the Pirate King.

If the Pirate King wanted to use fire, then Jason was more than willing to fight fire with fire.
