The monsters were quickly cleared up by the Legion subordinates, and it didn’t take long before they were able to begin moving across the ocean once again. Ronna and the rest of the crew were still stunned by what Jason had just done, but none of them dared to ask him any questions about his ability, and they simply followed his orders and continued moving. This was how things went for the next few hours. There were hundreds of thousands of beasts in this ocean. Many of them were smaller minions that didn’t really pose much of a threat to the pirates individually, and these minions were only dangerous because of their great number, but the rest of these sea monsters were territorial beasts that were out for blood. And since these beasts were either strong TITAN Rank IIIs or weak PRIMORDIALS, there was absolutely nothing that the pirates could do about them.
But Jason was taking care of these beasts like they were nothing. The next beast that they ran into was a large TITAN Rank III shark-like creature that could shoot blades of water from its fins. The shark attacked the ship multiple times to sink it into the ocean, but the Jormunga that Jason had just made his subordinate attacked the shark and wrapped it with its long tendrils before suffocating it to death.

The next beast was another PRIMORDIAL Rank I that looked like an extremely beautiful mermaid. This time, the monster tried to use music to lure the pirates into a trap. The song was beautiful and melodious, and most of the men onboard were immediately trapped by the song, and they began to walk towards the edge of the boat so that they could jump into the water and die. But in the next moment, Jason grabbed the [Spear of Heaven] from his inventory and threw it towards the mermaid like a javelin.
SQUELCH!
The attack landed true and stabbed right through the mermaid’s head. The music stopped, and the men onboard were all stunned when they realised that they had been ensnared so easily. If Jason had not been here to stop the music, then they would’ve definitely died.

The user has gained the PRIMORDIAL Rank Artefact [Orb of Hypnotism]
——
Orb of Hypnotism: When activated, the artefact will release a hypnotic melody that will allow the user to ensnare or trap anyone around him and place them in a trance-like state. This skill affects everyone within a certain target radius, so the user should be careful to make sure he does not affect his allies during battle.
——
The orb artefact appeared in Jason’s hand, and Jason was impressed when he read through the description. Jason decided that he would use it next time he was trying to round up a large number of enemies, and he put it into his Alternate Dimension.
Once the head mermaid was killed, the younger mermaids around her who had been waiting for the men to enter the ocean, let out loud screeches in anger and began trying to attack the ship. Their beautiful faces turned ugly and twisted, and the men on the ship all screamed in fright when they saw this! But Jason didn’t even care about the mermaids, and he just sent his subordinates to deal with them like usual.

As time passed, the pirates ran into even more monsters. They met a massive jellyfish that tried to poison them with its needle-like tentacles, but the jellyfish ended up getting eaten by the large Jormunga sea serpent, and that was the end of it. Then they entered into a rock formation that had hundreds of massive alligators living there, with one giant alligator that was almost the same size as their ship acting as the boss of the region. That had been one of the more annoying fights for Jason since the Alligators all had a skill that allowed them to harden their skin until it was tough enough to block a hit from almost anyone.
The boss of this region had skin that was so strong that Jason knew he wouldn’t be able to break it in one hit by himself, and since the boss was a PRIMORDIAL as well, most of Jason’s subordinates weren’t able to kill it easily. But once Jason stepped in and used the [Spear of Heaven] against it, the Alligator died immediately.

The user has gained the PRIMORDIAL Rank Artefact [Green Scale Armor]
——
Green Scale Armor: An armour artefact crafted from the skin of the [Capri Rock Alligator]. This armour inherited the unique attribute [Harden] from the magical beast it was crafted from, and as a result of this, it is capable of increasing its surface density by up to 500% on command.
——
The armour Jason got this time was very useful, but Jason couldn’t help but scoff slightly when he saw what the armour looked like. Ugly would be an understatement. But Jason wasn’t really interested in how good something looked. As long as it was useful, Jason would use it in battle. Jason knew that he might never get to use this armour since his skin was already stronger than the armour even when it was hardened, so Jason decided to give the armor to someone else later.
The pirate crew onboard the ship had stopped being surprised by what Jason was doing a long time ago, and now, all they were doing was watching in pure awe as Jason completely dismantled an army of monsters that had been a thorn in the side of all pirates for a very long time. The more Jason killed, the more soldiers he added to his army, and after a while, it started getting ridiculous when they saw the sheer number of beasts that were swimming beside them protectively.
Jason and Valeria had still not even moved from their place at the front of the ship, and Valeria didn’t look like she was interested in joining the battle anytime soon. Instead, Valeria had begun taking the Mana stones from the monsters to eat. Valeria had gathered an entire pile of them beside her, and she was having an absolute feast while the pirates watched on in shock. The Pirates had never seen someone eating mana stones like this before, so they couldn’t understand what Valeria was doing.
Since Valeria was just a TITAN Rank II, the PRIMORDIAL Rank mana stones were doing her a lot of good, and at this rate, Valeria knew it wouldn’t be difficult for her to break through to TITAN Rank III soon.
’I should probably save some for Jason...’
Valeria had this thought as she popped another large magic stone into her mouth. Valeria glanced at Jason for a second before she looked down at the large pile of stones beside her. Jason was watching as his Lightning Dragon released a blast of pure lightning on a colony of giant Piranhas that tried to attack them, and it didn’t look like Jason was interested in the mana stones at all.
