Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1160: A Weak Primordial
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
"Jormunga! It’s the Jormunga!"
The beast that just appeared was known as the Jormunga, a sea serpent with a long, powerful body that was known to grab hold of pirate ships with its tendrils and sink them into the ocean if they dared to come anywhere close to it. The serpent was a PRIMORDIAL Rank I, but Jason felt amusement rising from somewhere deep inside him when he sensed the core purity of the beast and realised that it was exceptionally low. The serpent’s core purity was barely up to five percent, and this meant it had only become a PRIMORDIAL sometime very recently. It was basically a TITAN Rank III!
The Jormunga roared at the ship angrily, and all around the water, hundreds of smaller creatures began to swim towards them threateningly. It was obvious that they were planning to sink the entire ship, and the crew on board immediately began to unleash blasts of energy from their weapons towards the smaller sea serpents. The large Jormunga was stretching its tendrils out towards the ship, and Ronna shouted to Jason desperately.
"DO SOMETHING, MAGE! YOU’RE THE ONE THAT BROUGHT US HERE!"
Ronna watched as the crew shot at the massive Jormunga multiple times, but no matter how much they fired, it was as if they were shooting pebbles at a giant. There was no effect at all, and all they were doing was making the beast angrier. Jason had just been standing at the front of the ship nonchalantly all this time, and Ronna felt a new wave of anger flow through her body when she saw this, and she shouted again.
"ARE YOU WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DIE!? WHY WON’T YOU DO SOMETHING!"
Jason ignored Ronna’s loud voice as he continued to survey the creatures around them, and when he was done, Jason finally put his hand out and called on one of his subordinates.
’Go easy with your output. We don’t want the ship to sink.’
ROARRR!
A new roar suddenly echoed through the sky, and all the pirates looked up to see a massive white dragon charging down towards the Jormunga. The dragon’s body was wrapped in pure lightning, and every single member of the crew nearly lost their minds once they saw the massive creature coming towards their ship. But the dragon completely ignored the ship and dived straight towards the Jormunga before slamming into it and dragging it away into the ocean.
BOOM!
A massive torrent of water rose from the ocean as the two beasts sank under, and Jason watched with the [Eye of the King] as the Lightning dragon dragged the Jormunga far away from the ship before it sent hundreds of millions of volts straight into the Jormunga and cooked it from the inside out. Although both the Lightning dragon and the Jormunga were both PRIMORDIAL Rank I beasts, the Lightning dragon was far stronger since it had a much purer core and it also had more Essence in its core. The Jormunga didn’t stand a chance against the Lightning Dragon, and it didn’t even take twenty seconds before Jason saw the notification appear in his system.

Jason hummed curiously when he saw the new tabs that he had just received. The skill that Jason got from the kill was very good, and Jason felt a bit of amusement rising from deep inside him when he realised that the Jormunga never even got to use this skill because it had died too quickly. Jason turned towards the system tab for the PRIMORDIAL Rank subordinates, and Jason saw that there were two new entries on the tab. The [Core Essence Quantity] and [Core Essence Purity] were similar to what Jason had on his own system tab, and Jason realised that the system added them itself.
[The system believes it will be significantly easier for the user to manage his subordinates if the user possessed more information regarding their growth. All PRIMORDIAL level subordinates will now possess tabs showing the progress of their Primordial Cores.]
The system dutifully brought up this tab, and Jason hummed in appreciation. It was nice to know that the system was also doing its best to make Jason’s job easier.
[Yes, the system is the best. The user must show more appreciation.]
Jason scoffed in amusement and shook his head. Jason honestly didn’t know what to think about this system sometimes. Most of the time, it was very mechanical and robotic, but every now and then, it did or said something that made it seem almost like a real person. Jason forgot about that, and he turned his attention back to the ongoing battle. The crew members on the ship were still firing at the smaller sea monsters all around, but most of them were staring at the water in shock. They’d just seen a lightning dragon drag a sea serpent under the ocean and vanish, so there was no way they wouldn’t be shocked out of their minds.
The crew all watched with bated breath as they waited for something to happen, and they were even more shocked when they saw the water bulge before two massive creatures emerged from below. The lightning dragon flapped its wings and took off into the air, and the large sea serpent swam slowly towards the ship. The crew members screamed and pointed their weapons at the beast since they thought it was coming to finish them off, but they stopped when they saw the beast lower its head towards Jason. Jason raised his hand and pat the Serpent’s head calmly before waving it away, and the serpent let out a bellow and dived back into the ocean as it began attacking the smaller serpents all around.
"W-What in the world...?"
Ronna muttered in shock when she saw what had happened, and she looked at Jason like she was only just seeing him for the first time. There were hundreds of questions on Ronna’s tongue at the moment, and Ronna wanted to know what had just happened, but Jason waved towards her and told her to continue moving, and she had to swallow her questions as she went back to the wheel and continued guiding them to the middle of the ocean.
The rest of the crew were also forced to get back to work, and Jason simply continued staring out into the ocean calmly while watching the water pass by quickly. The crew unloaded multiple attacks on the lower-ranked sea snakes that were still trying to attack them, and Jason sent out his TITAN Rank subordinates and told them to take care of the monsters and open a path for them to leave.
