Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1122: Nothing But A Pathetic Worm

Theosis could feel his stamina falling rapidly the longer he fought! At this rate, Theosis knew he would soon lose consciousness, and Theosis decided that he had to leave before Jason showed up! Theosis began to move towards the exit while holding the cylinder close to his chest to make sure that he got it out of here safely!

[Rain of Lightning]!

But Theosis suddenly felt the mana in the room shoot up drastically, and he turned around to see a skeletal giant standing at the door! Azrael had his staff raised, and there was a wave of black lightning spreading across the room rapidly as Azrael gathered magical power! Theosis raised his hand and immediately created another psychic bubble to protect himself from the attack, but Theosis wasn’t able to create the defence quickly enough, and Azrael’s attack descended upon him with terrifying brutality!

BZZT!

"RARGH!"

The lightning jolted Theosis’ body and threw him back into the wall on the other side of the room! Theosis still held onto the cylinder containing Jolene’s brain, and he fell to his knees while breathing heavily! The enemies were surrounding Theosis on all sides, and Theosis looked up angrily and waved his hand with a shout!

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of rapid footsteps echoed through the room, and in the next moment, dozens of mind-controlled women burst through the walls and ceiling as they charged towards the Legion subordinates! The women all had serious injuries, and some of them were on the verge of death, but they were all under Theosis’ control, and Theosis had used his [Mind Corruption] to bypass their survival instinct, forcing them to attack recklessly without caring for their safety! The women attacked anyone close to them! They jumped on Machina soldiers and dragged monsters by their tails to try and pull them back! But since the women didn’t have much power, it was easy for the Legion to take them down, and many of the women were either knocked unconscious or thrown out of the room!

But Theosis already knew that the women wouldn’t do much damage! Theosis had only used them as a distraction so that he could sneak out of the room! Theosis activated another aspect of his [Zone of Influence], and a bubble of psychic power formed around him before he suddenly vanished from sight! This ability allowed Theosis to blend into his surroundings like a chameleon, and anyone who looked in his direction would only see what was behind him, making him appear invisible! Once Theosis was sure that the ability was working, he began stumbling his way along the wall to try and get to the exit!

But unfortunately for Theosis, he was fighting against an army filled with robotic machines who possessed very sophisticated vision-based abilities! The reason Theosis’ ability to camouflage himself worked so well was because the power affected the part of the brain responsible for manipulating light, and the power forced the brain to ignore Theosis, but there was nothing the Arcane Art could do against an enemy with a mechanically developed brain and infrared vision! One of the Machina Warriors immediately noticed that Theosis was trying to escape, and the warrior’s eyes rotated like a camera lens and glowed red before revealing Theosis as a red outline! The Machina warrior charged through multiple women standing in his way, pulled his arm back, and formed it into a sword before stabbing forward into Theosis’ shoulder!

SQUELCH!

"ARGGH!"

Theosis screamed as the sword tore into his body and pinned him to the wall! And Theosis glared at the Machina angrily!

"You fool! How dare you defile my body with your disgusting weapon!? Be gone from me this instant!"

BOOM!

A massive blast of psychic power threw the Machina away from Theosis, and Theosis used his telekinesis to try and pull the sword out of his shoulder! It was a slow, agonising process, and Theosis grit his teeth in pain as blood poured from the wound! But finally, Theosis got the sword free and threw it to the ground! Theosis leaned against the wall for a moment to catch his breath before he began trying to escape again!

Shink!

A flash of silver suddenly tore through the air, and Theosis’ eyes widened as two swords flew at him! Theosis immediately raised his hand and tried to use his psychic abilities to stop the swords, but it almost felt like Theosis was moving in slow motion! The swords moved far too quickly, and Theosis was stabbed through both shoulders before being impaled to the wall!

"ARRRGGG!"

A primal scream of pure pain tore through Theosis’ mouth, and Theosis felt his entire body shaking as the swords sent a wave of searing pain through him! The swords that impaled Theosis were special blades made from Bengari metal ore and marked with multiple runes that made them even more dangerous, so Theosis was in more pain than any normal sword could cause him! Theosis was about to try and use his telekinesis to remove these swords as well, but two black shadow hands suddenly emerged from the ground and grabbed the sword handles before pulling them down!

SQUELCH!

Theosis let out another scream as both his hands were almost torn off their sockets! The swords had cut through multiple muscles and bones, so Theosis could no longer use his hands, and they both fell to the side lifelessly! The cylinder containing Jolene’s brain fell to the ground and began to roll away, but Theosis managed to send his body forward, and he fell on the jar and stopped it from going far from him! And it was in this moment, with Theosis lying on the ground like a worm and shaking in a pathetic pool of blood, that Jason finally appeared.

Jason walked into the room with a calmness that seemed completely out of place compared to the disaster all around him! Jason didn’t look like he had a care in the world! Jason’s hands were in his pockets, and his face was so calm in that moment that you could never guess how much anger was in his heart! Theosis raised his head with a heavy glare as Jason entered the room, and Jason kept his eyes glued to the crippled Mind Apostle until he finally came to stand right in front of him. Jason looked down at the pathetic creature with a condescending stare, and for a moment, Jason wondered if this was really the same bastard that had been causing him so much trouble all this time. The Mind Apostle’s emaciated form and pathetic appearance were very different from the white-haired form that Jason was used to!

Theosis sneered at Jason before spitting out his next words in annoyance!

"I’ll make sure you regret this, you pathetic worm! You think you can come into my house and attack me without consequences?! You are nothing but a footnote on the story of my glorious rise! You are a stumbling block! A nail to be hammered down! The scum of the earth unworthy of gazing upon me! How dare you gaze upon me with your disgusting -"

Kick!

Jason lashed out and kicked the Mind Apostle across the face so hard that he flew back and slammed into the wall on the other side of the room! Yeah, this was definitely the bastard. Even though the Mind Apostle now looked completely different from the healthy man that Jason was used to seeing, and the Mind Apostle seemed to have gotten thinner and sickly, Jason could recognise that annoying rant anywhere!
