The Mind Apostle grunted pathetically as he felt a sharp pain in his jaw, and when the Mind Apostle tried to talk, he realised that he couldn’t!

The Mind Apostle’s eyes widened in shock! His jaw had literally fallen off his mouth, and it was hanging loosely from his face! The Mind Apostle tried to talk again, but he couldn’t get a word out in this state, and his speech was slurred and broken! Jason began moving towards him with that same calmness around him! Jason reached down to grab the Mind Apostle, but a protective bubble suddenly formed around the Mind Apostle that prevented Jason from reaching him! The Mind Apostle gave Jason a sharp look from inside the bubble, but Jason just activated an Attribute!

In a split second, Jason immediately activated his alternate world, and the Mind Apostle was shocked when he was thrust into the dark, sunless landscape! Jason was still standing in front of the Mind Apostle, and Jason sent a condition out!

Theosis felt his eyes widen in shock when he heard this, and Theosis watched as the protective shield around his body vanished! What!? Was something like this even possible! Theosis had never heard about one Arcane Art affecting another one like this!

Jason grabbed Theosis by the neck, and Theosis choked in pain as he was lifted to his feet! The [Land of Lost Shadows] vanished around Jason, and they both returned to the real world before Jason slammed Theosis back into the wall!

The Mind Apostle grunted as he felt his airflow get cut off, and the Mind Apostle immediately looked into Jason’s eyes and tried to activate [Mind Corruption]!

The Mind Apostle waited patiently for something to happen to Jason, but as time passed, the Mind Apostle slowly began to realise that his Art hadn’t worked at all! A sudden jolt of fear came over the Mind Apostle as he looked at Jason with wide eyes! What was happening here? This wasn’t supposed to happen! His Arcane Art was meant to work on anyone!

’Is this why Sicario told me to stay away from him? Did Sicario know that my art wouldn’t work on Jason? Why didn’t that fool say anything!?’

The Mind Apostle finally took a good look into Jason’s eyes, and in there, he saw a natural calmness that was far more terrifying than anything he had ever seen before. Jason had a bloodthirsty aura around him, like a lion preparing for a kill, but the calmness on Jason’s face showed the Mind Apostle that it would not be an easy death!

Jason put his hand to the side, and his hand vanished into his alternate dimension before he pulled out a Dragosteel sword. The sword began to turn red as Jason allowed his Qi to flow through it, and it heated up until it was glowing in the dim light of the room! Jason placed the sword against Theosis’ stomach and began to slide it in slowly! Steam rose from the point of contact, and Theosis opened his broken mouth to scream as a sharp pain shot through him, but the only sound that came out was a long whine that made no sense! Jason ignored the look of pain on Theosis’ face, and he simply continued!

SQUELCH!

Jason stabbed the sword into Theosis before he reached to the side and pulled out another sword to repeat it! Theosis was shaking and struggling pointlessly, but there was nowhere he could go as sword after sword was stabbed into him! Jason was still holding Theosis by the neck, so the combination of his wounds with the constricted airflow was pure torture, and Jason watched as Theosis began to struggle less and less.

Jason was not the sort of person who did things like this. Causing people pain and torturing them was not how Jason handled his business, but at this moment, Jason didn’t want to give Theosis a simple death! Jason honestly wanted to torture Theosis a lot more than this. Theosis had been nothing but a thorn in Jason’s side for as long as Jason remembered! It was Theosis that caused the death of millions of humans by sending the Machina soldiers to create the Blue Gate all those months ago, and it was Theosis who almost caused the destruction of the Primordial Expanse by trying to take Agiel’s Soul Bond! Jason wanted Theosis to suffer for what he did!

At this point, there were more than twenty swords stabbed into Theosis, and Theosis was no longer struggling at all. Jason could still feel an intense surge of anger inside him as he stared at Theosis’ face, but Jason decided that there was no point in doing more than this. Jason would rather kill the bastard now and get rid of him once and for all, rather than allow him to live just so Jason could torture him more.

For some reason, even with more than twenty swords sticking out from his body and blood running down to the floor like a river, the Mind Apostle was still not dead! The Mind Apostle was bent over, and his body had gone limp, but his eyes were fixed on a cylinder that was lying on the floor a few meters away from him. Jason turned around in curiosity and glanced at the cylinder, and Jason hummed as he realised that this thing was important to the Mind Apostle! Jason actually scoffed in amusement! So even a creature like this could feel attached to something. How amusing.

"After all the lives you’ve destroyed, do you really think you have the right to yearn for anything, you fool?"

Jason felt a surge of genuine anger flash through him in that moment, and Jason decided that there was no point torturing this fool anymore! It was best to just end him! Jason’s hand vanished into his Alternate Dimension as he pulled out a large Dragosteel sword that glowed with the intense heat of his phoenix fire, and he aimed for Theosis’ head to finally kill him once and for all!

[Breath of Gaia]!

But all of a sudden, the entire mansion shook as a foreign power spread out across the city! Jason looked down in shock as the ground gave way under him and made him lose his balance! A massive tree grew out from underground and tore through the mansion as it began to rise up into the air! The tree looked like something straight out of a mythological garden! Its trunk was hundreds of meters wide, and it was large and strong enough to lift the entire mansion off the ground! Jason stumbled backwards with a furrowed brow as he looked around him! The tree was an extraordinary structure that would normally take millions of mana points to grow, but Jason couldn’t feel any mana from it at all, so he immediately knew that this wasn’t a skill! It was an Arcane Art!

’Another Apostle.’

Outside the mansion, the rainbow-haired woman, Enkidu, floated over the mansion! There was a frown on her face, and her long hair flowed in the wind as she fed her Arcane Art into the massive tree! The tree that she had just created was the largest structure that she had ever made! It was so large that the entire mansion was hanging off of just one of the branches, and the tree trunk itself was large enough to cover up half of a city! Enkidu knew that she had to do at least this much if she wanted to face someone like Jason!
