Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1121: The Mind of Jolene

A large Dimensional Tear opened at one side of the room, and Theosis floated through the opening and entered the freezing cold storage room. Theosis immediately frowned as he looked around the ruined room. There were broken items lying across the floor, and most of the machines that had been taking medical and magical readings from the cylinder had been smashed to pieces, with sparks flying out from their structure. Theosis ignored all of them and turned his attention towards the cylinder in the middle of the room! The large cylindrical structure was attached to the floor by powerful chains and welds, and Theosis let out a small sigh of relief as he saw that the cylinder was still perfectly safe.

Theosis had crafted this cylinder from the crystalline scales of a Diamond Rutherdome Dragon, one of the most defensively gifted Dragons to ever live! So Theosis knew that even a PRIMORDIAL would find it hard to break it! Theosis moved forward, and he used his hand to clean off some of the frost on the surface of the transparent cylinder to finally reveal the light pink brain floating inside the structure. Theosis’ eyes softened once he saw that the brain was safe, and he spoke.

"At least you were smart enough not to allow all my effort go to waste, you fool. It would have been utterly deplorable if you died in such a pathetic place. Someone of your standing should know better than to do such a thing. Now come, we have to leave this place. It’s not safe anymore."

There was a beep from one of the machines at the side, and Theosis smiled even wider since he knew that the brain was the one responding! This brain was something Theosis had kept with him for hundreds of years and through multiple trips across thousands of dimensions. It belonged to a woman named Jolene from a world outside of the current reality! She was someone who had been with Theosis since he was a child, and she was the only person that Theosis had ever felt any form of love for. She had been a great mage and a brilliant researcher, but a sickness had taken root in her magical core a long time ago, and it consumed her body too quickly for Theosis to do anything for her.

Theosis had also contracted a sickness a long time ago, and it had actually been Jolene’s research that allowed Theosis to survive for so long even though his body was so weak. After Jolene suffered from the sickness that killed her body, Theosis had kept Jolene’s mind alive by storing her brain, and he made it his personal mission to bring Jolene back to life! Jolene was the reason why Theosis had such a strong attitude towards all women, and she was also the reason why Theosis gathered so many women in his collection! Theosis was trying to find a woman who could make him feel the same way Jolene had made Theosis feel, but no woman had ever come close! Theosis saw Jolene as the ideal woman, so Theosis could never see the worth in any other woman!

The main reason Theosis had joined the Apostles was because Sicario had promised to find a way to bring Jolene back to life. Theosis had searched through multiple worlds to try and find a way to save Jolene, but no matter how much he looked, he could never find the perfect ingredients he needed! Most ingredients didn’t have the right magical structure, and the vessels Theosis found were not fit to serve as a replacement for Jolene’s body!

But Theosis knew that he would get everything he was looking for once he killed Jason. The reason why Theosis hated Jason so much was because Jason was the only thing standing between Theosis and his goal of bringing back Jolene! Theosis had searched millions of worlds across thousands of dimensions, and there had only been one person who fit the description of what Theosis was looking for as a replacement vessel. But Theosis couldn’t have her yet. Not while Jason was still alive, at least! If Theosis wanted to bring his perfect woman back to life, then Jason needed to die first!

But even though his ambition was within arm’s reach, Theosis couldn’t kill Jason yet because Sicario had asked him not to! Jason was an important piece in Sicario’s plans for the Court of Apostles, so Theosis had to be patient and wait for Sicario’s plans to be complete before he did anything! But once it was all finished, Theosis swore that he would kill Jason! One day, after Sicario had accomplished his desires, Theosis would be the one to put a dagger in Jason’s heart and take everything from him! Theosis would finally be able to bring Jolene back to life!

Theosis reached forward, and he grabbed the frozen cylinder and twisted it to the side. The structure let out a loud hissing sound as it disconnected from the stand holding it up, and multiple beeps echoed from the computers around the room. Theosis took the cylinder with the brain away from the metallic structure and put it against his chest like the most precious item. Theosis then turned to the side and called out.

"Bathseda!"

The name echoed throughout the room, but there was no answer, and Theosis frowned in anger as he called out again!

"Bathseda! Open a portal right now!"

Theosis began floating out of the storage room to get to the surface, but he stopped in his tracks as a massive explosion echoed from above him!

BOOM!

The entire ceiling was torn to pieces as the explosion shook the floor, and from the flames emerged a Bengari Warrior with her sword drawn back!

"RARRRGHH!"

The Bengari subordinate had been searching through the mansion for Theosis all this time, and she had been drawn down here the moment she heard him shouting! The Bengari warrior wasted no time as she immediately went for the kill! Theosis felt a surge of anger rising through him when he saw that it was a woman attacking him, and he immediately put his hand up and unleashed a blast of energy!

[Zone of Influence]!

BOOM!

A wave of psychic energy blasted out from the Mind Apostle’s hand, and this was enough to send the Bengari flying back up through the broken ceiling, but Theosis had no time to rest as multiple subordinates began to pour in from the ceiling! Another shout came from the side, and Theosis immediately put his hand out and began to push the [Zone of Influence] attribute to the extreme! Theosis blocked a sword attack from another Bengari warrior, and he threw her to the side before he released another psychic blast that slammed into multiple Machina soldiers! The east wall of the storage room suddenly imploded inwards as even more enemies began to emerge, and Theosis waved his hand around himself and created a powerful bubble of psychic power to protect his body! A large wolf ran in from behind Theosis and tried to swipe at him with its claws, but it slammed into the psychic bubble and was immediately thrown back!

The bubble gave Theosis the chance to catch his breath for a few seconds, but the wave of enemies coming from all around him just kept increasing! Bengari warriors, magical beasts, and all sorts of Machina and superhuman enemies were pouring in like constant waves, and Theosis knew that his shield wouldn’t be able to hold them back forever! Even though Theosis wasn’t using any mana for this fight, his stamina was still dropping quickly! Theosis grabbed a large desk and hurled it toward a group of enemies to push them back, and he quickly tried to use the distraction to escape!
