Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1120: We Need To Escape!

This final attribute, [Zone of Influence], allowed the Mind Apostle to spread the influence of his mind in a certain radius around him, and within that radius, the Mind Apostle could use his mind to mentally move anything he wanted! This skill was defensive, offensive, and also a support skill, and it was seen as the strongest skill in the Mind Apostle’s arsenal because of this adaptability. But there were two reasons why the Mind Apostle didn’t use it much. The first reason was the amount of stamina that the skill consumed. Even though the Attribute didn’t use any mana, it still made you very tired over time, and it wouldn’t be long before you ran out of energy completely. And the second reason why he didn’t use it was because he could only use it while he was inside his real body.

The Mind Apostle spent most of his time inside his homunculi since he preferred to move around with that body. But the Mind Apostle couldn’t activate the third Attribute inside his homunculi, and since his real body was so weak, he could barely activate the skill for a long time without losing all his energy rapidly, and that was why this skill was allowed to rot away. But now that the Mind Apostle was in such a difficult position, the Mind Apostle knew that he didn’t have a choice but to activate the Attribute!

The Mind Apostle activated the third Attribute of his Arcane Art, and his body was slowly wrapped in a transparent aura before he was lifted off the ground through telekinesis. The Mind Apostle looked around him to see all of the damage that had been done to the mansion, and somewhere deep inside him, the Mind Apostle felt an intense surge of anger rising through his chest! Even without seeing who had attacked him, the Mind Apostle immediately knew that this was Jason’s doing somehow.

The Mind Apostle had felt the surge of mana before the explosion happened, and he also sensed the Magic Essence within the earlier pressure! The Mind Apostle had been around Jason long enough to identify Jason’s Mana Essence easily. But the main question on the Mind Apostle’s mind now was: how did Jason manage to find him?

The Mind Apostle was sure that he had kept the location of his hideout a perfect secret! No one was supposed to know about this place! The Mind Apostle had already killed or mind-controlled anyone who could give out the location knowingly or unknowingly!

’There has to be an explanation. Was it from Jadar?’

The Mind Apostle’s eyes narrowed as he remembered what had happened a month ago on Jadar. During the Mind Apostle’s last confrontation with Jason, Jason had looked right at the Mind Apostle and said he would see him soon with absolute confidence. Back then, the Mind Apostle didn’t think it was something serious! The Mind Apostle just thought that Jason was trying to rile him up! But now, the Mind Apostle realised that Jason hadn’t just been saying nonsense! Jason had actually figured out a way to locate him all the way back then!

There was a high chance that Jason had found something within the mind of one of the people he took under his control on Jadar. No, it wasn’t just anyone! It was the King! The Mind Apostle remembered that the King of Jadar had been attacked inside Agiel’s mindscape, and it took a long time for the Mind Apostle to destroy that idiot’s mind properly. That was most likely how Jason got the information about where he was!

But it didn’t matter now anyway! The Mind Apostle couldn’t stay here and wait for Jason to find him! This was not the right time for them to have their confrontation!

"Bathseda. Open a portal for me. I need to go to the storage room."

The Mind Apostle spoke up while looking at the ceiling, and the Mind Apostle was surprised when he didn’t get a response for a few seconds.

"Bathseda!"

The Mind Apostle called out in annoyance, and he finally saw a portal opening in front of him. The Mind Apostle was about to pass through the portal, but he was surprised when Bathseda floated out from the portal on their wheelchair. Bathseda looked dirty and tired, and it was obvious that they had also been affected by the explosion from earlier. There was a large container in Bathseda’s lap that had many wires and conduits attached to it, and when the Mind Apostle took a closer look, he noticed that it was some sort of mechanical contraption that Bathseda had created.

Bathseda had a frown on their face, and they spoke up quickly.

"We don’t have time to waste, Theosis. I’ve packed everything important, and I suggest you do the same. We have to leave now."

Bathseda had already gathered all of the data that they needed to continue their experiments elsewhere, and they were planning to abandon all their test subjects and leave before Jason could catch up to them. Bathseda might be an Arcane Art user, but they didn’t have any delusion about their ability, and they knew that there was no way they could defeat Jason in such a direct confrontation!

But Theosis was not having any of that!

"No! I can’t leave yet! I need to get to the storage room! Open the portal for me this instant!"

Theosis moved forward and floated past Bathseda, and Bathseda felt their brow furrow in shock as they wondered what the hell Theosis was doing! What was so important that Theosis was willing to risk running into Jason just to get it from the storage room?

"Theosis, don’t be absurd. If Jason finds us here, we’ll be killed -"

"I SAID OPEN IT!"

Theosis suddenly turned around and screamed at Bathseda angrily, and Bathseda was taken aback by the intense anger they could see on Theosis’ face! It looked like Theosis was really going to attack them if they didn’t do as he said, and Bathseda narrowed their eyes at Theosis in annoyance before putting their arm out and speaking.

"Very well, Theosis. I will allow you to do as you wish. But this is where we part ways. I will be leaving this world before Jason arrives, and if you survive the encounter, then may we meet again in another time."

Bathseda opened the Dimensional Tear that led to the storage room, and another Dimensional Tear opened behind Bathseda! Theosis didn’t even bother saying anything in response to Bathseda’s words, and Theosis just started moving towards the open Dimensional Tear in front of him! Bathseda watched this for a moment before shaking their head in disappointment as they floated back and vanished through the second Dimensional Tear. Bathseda hoped that Theosis would be smart enough to escape before Jason could get to him!

[Storage Room]

The Mansion Storage room was a massive underground bunker that was inaccessible to anyone but Theosis. When Theosis had first gotten this mansion as his personal hideout, he had looked through the entire mansion to try and find the perfect place to store one of his most precious possessions. Most of the mansion had been too open and defenseless for Theosis’ liking, but once Theosis found this storage room, Theosis knew that this was what he had been looking for!

The room had once been a secure regular storage room filled with expensive wine, artefacts, and gold, but Theosis had completely transformed it by getting rid of all the items and crafting a large freezing rune that turned the storage room into one massive cold room! The doors were blocked by a magical sequence that only Theosis could activate, and there were hundreds of wires travelling across the room and feeding information into a single cylindrical structure standing in the middle of the room.
