Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1116: A Dangerous Obsession
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
All the most powerful members of high-ranking worlds who had been terrified of the Celestial of Death began returning to their home worlds once they noticed Death was gone, and they all had one question on their minds: how was Jason able to defeat the Celestial of Death!?
Jason’s reputation around the Primordial Expanse was already extraordinary due to his actions both on Radagan as well as against the Machina, but what he just did in the Ninth Domain would turn out to be the event that catapulted him to new levels of popularity that were almost god-like! A simple human from Earth who had gained the power to challenge the Celestial was something that everyone in the Primordial Expanse wanted to speak about, and there wasn’t a single world where Jason’s exploits weren’t being discussed!
Popular scholars, dangerous mercenaries, and high-ranking mages all began trying to reach out to the Overlord of the Sixth Domain to speak to him, but no one was able to find out where Jason was, and Jason had told the people on Earth to lock down the planet and make sure no one could enter through any Dimensional Tears! Jason had a lot of things to handle, and he didn’t have time to entertain the questions from curious mages.
But although Jason was proving to be unreachable, that didn’t make the conversations about the recent events die down at all, and it wasn’t long before people began to refer to this incident as the Meeting with Death!
The reason for this was because no one had been able to record any sort of confrontation or battle across the Primordial Expanse before Death’s exit, and it almost seemed like Jason had simply convinced Death to leave this plane once and for all! But no one was able to either prove or disprove this theory, and people were all forced to wait patiently for Jason to come out and tell them what had actually happened during his Meeting with Death!
....
[The Sixth Domain]
[The World of Tarisavia]
The world of Tarisavia had once been one of the most prosperous worlds in the Primordial Expanse. Long before the Period of Lawlessness, when the Primordial Expanse was filled with various Primordial races that coexisted with the mortals in relative peace, the people of Tarisavia had been one of the largest dynasties in existence. They controlled a massive portion of the Primordial Expanse with businesses and armies that spanned more than a hundred worlds, and there were no other races strong enough to challenge them in the Sixth Domain! But just as with all things, the great dynasty eventually began to decline due to a mixture of bad governance and constant wars among the Primordial Races.
The great dynasty that had once ruled over most of the worlds in their sector was attacked constantly by other worlds that wished to own the treasures and natural resources in this world! Since Tarisavia was so prosperous and powerful, it was obvious that they would have the largest target on their back! Anyone who wanted to take a piece of the resources in the Sixth Domain would have to first take Tarisavia down before they could begin any conquest! And in the same way that the great Roman Empire fell after a long period of dominance, this great dynasty of Tarisavia also eventually passed away!
And now, the world that had once been the seat of the ruler of Tarisavia had become a hideout used by the Apostle of Mind to store his mind slaves.
Theosis was having an internal crisis. After what happened on Jadar during Agiel’s wedding, Theosis was able to realise immediately that this entire situation was his fault. Theosis’ greed and desire to acquire Agiel for himself was what gave Jason enough time to come and save Agiel, and if Theosis had just killed Agiel like Sicario told him to, then Theosis knew that none of those would have happened. In the past few weeks, Theosis had been trying to think of ways to fix the issue that he had caused.
Theosis knew that there was no way for him to stop Jason and Agiel now that they had already formed the Soul Bond. Sicario had warned Theosis not to touch Jason, so there was nothing Theosis could do there. So instead, Theosis had been trying to come up with a way to attack Jason’s family. If Theosis could just kill one or two of the most important people in Jason’s life, then Theosis was sure that he would be able to get Jason to do as he says and Sicario would ignore his mistakes!
The first person that Theosis had thought about attacking was Jason’s wife, Riyala. Theosis had completely removed Hesabeth and Gina from his list of potential victims because Theosis knew there was no way he could hurt either of them. Hesabeth was protected by the world, so just the mere thought of attacking Hesabeth was something that could never enter Theosis’ mind, and Theosis had a special place in his heart for Gina. Theosis had a lot of plans for Gina in the future, so he couldn’t harm even a hair on her head.
Besides, during the time Theosis was coming up with his plans, both Gina and Hesabeth had been on Hesabeth’s world, Minori, and Minori was currently protected by an impenetrable force field created by the world itself to prevent the Celestial of Death from getting close to Hesabeth. So there was no way to get into that world.
That meant that the only woman that Theosis could actually attack now was Riyala, and Theosis had immediately sent out spies to find Riyala. But unfortunately for Theosis, his spies weren’t able to find out where Riyala was because she had evacuated with the rest of her people the moment they heard that the Celestial of Death would be travelling through their world. The world of Radagan had been completely deserted when the spies arrived, and since the people had gone to so many different worlds all around the Primordial Expanse, Sicario couldn’t figure out exactly where Riyala was!
After this, Theosis had attempted to go to Earth and find some of Jason’s other family members. If Theosis could kill Jason’s mother or sisters, then he was sure it would have the same effect as killing Riyala! It wouldn’t give Theosis the same satisfaction, but Theosis would have to settle for what he could get. But that had turned out to be another lost cause because Theosis figured out that Jason had put some sort of anti-travel protection rune around his entire world to prevent people from entering! This had enraged Theosis, and Theosis had immediately gone to Bathseda to ask them to help him! Although the anti-travel rune was strong, it had only been designed to stop any sort of magic-based travel! Bathseda was an Apostle who used a non-magical Arcane Art, so Theosis was sure that Bathseda would be able to open a Dimensional Tear into Earth!
But Theosis was shocked when Bathseda immediately refused to help him! It was simply unexpected, and Theosis asked Bathseda why the hell they were refusing to help him!
"I can’t help you with this, Theosis. I already told you earlier that this obsession of yours was a bad thing, and it’ll get you in a lot of trouble if you aren’t careful. Sicario told us to leave Jason alone, but you’ve refused to listen."
