Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1115: The Celestial Ascension
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
Although Jason knew that the Celestial of Death was a mass murderer who had caused the death of billions across the world, Jason also knew that this Celestial was nothing but a little boy. A young boy who had been desperate to meet his family once again and who had just been told that he was responsible for killing all of them. There was no way to console someone like this.
Agiel held Jason’s hand tighter, and Jason could feel that she was also experiencing the same emotions right now. Agiel felt pity for the Celestial, and there was a part of Agiel that even wanted to spare the Celestial.
If it had been any other person, then maybe they would’ve tried to find a middle ground that would allow the Celestial to remain here so that the Celestial wouldn’t get lonely, but the Celestial of Death wasn’t just any other person! Jason knew that no matter how bad he felt for the Celestial of Death, there was no way Jason could allow it to remain in this dimension. The Celestial simply did not belong here.
Jason walked forward once the pressure in the region had gone down, and the Celestial looked up into Jason’s eyes and saw that this was it. The Celestial nodded with a look of understanding on his face, and he spoke.
"I’m ready."
The Celestial didn’t put up a fight, and he didn’t even try to ask Jason to give him more time. As far as he was concerned, his family was no longer here, so there was no reason for it to remain in this domain either. Jason nodded, and he put his hands out together with Agiel, and they activated their joint skill.
[Erasure of Origin]!
A rumble suddenly echoed through the entire world! The very fabric of reality began to shift and twirl as it recognized that a Celestial was about to ascend, and Jason watched as the boy’s body glowed with an intense white light! The boy looked down at his hands curiously, and he could feel that he was slowly being erased from this dimension. He looked at Jason with a sad smile and asked.
"I have a feeling you’ll become strong enough to join me soon. When that happens, I want you to come and look for me. Can you promise me that you will?"
Jason blinked in surprise for a moment when he heard this. Jason never thought that the boy would want to see him again after everything that happened down here. But it didn’t take long before Jason realised what the boy truly wanted. All this time, the Celestial of Death had been trying to find his family and had travelled across the Primordial Expanse multiple times just because he didn’t want to be alone anymore. The fact that the Celestial of Death was going up to the Celestial Plane now meant that he would be alone once again, and the Celestial of Death was just trying to make sure he could look forward to having a friend in the future.
Jason’s face split into a kind smile, and Jason nodded once.
"As long as you promise not to kill me the moment we meet, I’ll come find you. I promise."
The boy smiled wider than ever before, and he shook his head.
"You’ll be a Celestial already, so you won’t be in danger of dying. I’ll come find you too. Let’s be friends."
Jason nodded in acceptance, and he watched as the black smoke all around him began to twirl into a massive tornado! The entire world rumbled and shook as a giant black twister began to form in the sky, and up high above their heads, a piece of reality cracked and splintered before opening up to reveal a cascading array of bright lights that swirled and churned with power!
DOON!
A surge of energy poured out from the crack and washed over the entire Primordial Expanse! This was a one-way gateway to the Celestial Plane! A pathway to a realm of power higher than anything a mortal could comprehend! The moment anyone entered it, they would become sealed within the Celestial Plane, and they would be incapable of returning to the world of mortals!
The moment it opened, the entire world began to crumble to pieces from the intense power that had surged out from it! This gateway revealed the true power of the Celestials upon the world, and it was nearly impossible for the creatures to bear the strain! Jason immediately wrapped his mana around him and Agiel to try and negate some of the power, but it was still impossible for Agiel to stay on her feet, and she fell to one knee immediately!
But they both continued to release their power, and the black cloud swirled around the boy like a twister and formed into a massive tornado before it slowly began to vanish up into the rainbow-like tear in reality above them! The Tear sucked up all of the essence of the Celestial of Death and transported him into the Celestial Plane, and by the time the last of the cloud left the ground, the boy had vanished along with it! Jason looked up into the rainbow tear, and he felt his eyes narrow as he sensed an unbelievable amount of power waiting on the other side.
It wasn’t possible right now, but Jason knew that he would get up there one day. It was only a matter of time. Jason’s power had already grown at an unbelievable rate, and when he finally reached PRIMORDIAL Rank III, he would have no other choice but to seek out more strength. And in order to do that, Jason would need to hunt another Celestial! But that was a story for another day, and Jason simply watched calmly as the tear in reality began to close back up, and it sealed the Celestial of Death away.
The moment the Celestial of Death was finally sealed away, the entire world slowly began to settle once again. There was a sense of relief that went through the hearts of every mortal creature within that world! All the most powerful creatures were able to immediately sense that Death’s aura had vanished from the mortal plane, and they knew that someone had to be responsible for it!
Out in the unknown regions of the Primordial Expanse, all the other Fallen Celestials who had been roaming this world immediately turned their attention towards the ninth domain as they felt one of their own vanishing. This was something that had never happened before, so all the Celestials were curious to find out how a mere mortal was capable of sending a Celestial back to the higher planes. Jason knew that it wouldn’t be long before various creatures began coming to this world to try and confirm Death’s disappearance, so they had to leave before that happened.
Jason immediately told Agiel that it was time for them to go. Agiel nodded, and she allowed Jason to carry her up as he opened a Dimensional Tear and vanished through it!
....
The news of the Celestial of Death passing into the Celestial Plane had spread across the Primordial Expanse like wildfire! All the Overlords had been keeping a close eye on what Jason was doing, so they all knew immediately that Jason sent the Celestial away! The Overlord of the Ninth Domain, Kalum was the one who was most excited about this and he spread the news of Jason’s accomplishment to every single world that took care to listen!
What Jason and Agiel had just done was something that no mortal had ever done before and they all knew that it would completely reshape their understanding of Celestials and the power that Celestials had over them!
