Jason and Agiel emerge alive from the Celestial Cloud, stunning the Primordial Expanse and earning Jason the title "the man touched by death." Meanwhile, Sicario awakens from his two-month coma, displeased that the Celestial's rampage was cut short and that Theosis failed to secure Agiel's Soul Bond. With the death toll from the Celestial's attack sufficient, Sicario orders his forces to accelerate their plans, preparing to move to the second domain. He also learns that Gregory has apparently attacked an Angel delegation, putting Mik’hael in a coma and potentially jeopardizing their mission.

[Earth]

[Jason’s Mansion]

Jason’s mansion in Riverdale was located on a massive estate that spanned hundreds of kilometers. The main mansion was located in the eastern part of the estate, but behind the mansion was a large field of grass and a massive lake! Jason was currently standing alone at the edge of his field and looking out on the wide landscape with a small frown on his face. It had been one day since Jason left the Celestial Cloud behind, and Jason had finally managed to get back to Earth with Agiel.

Since the Celestial of Death was no longer rampaging across the world, most of the Primordial Expanse had returned to normal once again, and some people were already beginning to migrate back to their worlds. Jason had sent out multiple subordinates to the world where the Celestial of Death hailed from, and the subordinates were following the directions the Celestial gave Jason so Jason could find the Celestial’s former home. The world of Riara was a desolate landscape unlike anything Jason had ever seen before. Everything on that world had died ages ago, and there was nothing but ash and dust left behind!

The location where the Celestial’s house was meant to be had become a valley sometime in the past millennia, but thankfully the subordinates could move through the shadows, and they simply went down into the valley to find the house, and they were now looking for the ring. Once they find it, Jason would take it to the Celestial and end this madness once and for all.

CAW!

A loud sound echoed from the sky, and Jason looked up to see Helios flying over his head with a trail of fire following behind him. Helios had been very angry with Jason when Jason didn’t come back for close to a month, but after Jason explained everything about how time had been different inside the Celestial Cloud, Helios finally forgave Jason, and he was now following Jason around again. Jason raised his hand as Helios swooped down, and the large phoenix landed on Jason’s forearm and took the infernal mouse in Jason’s other hand before taking off again!

Out in the distance, Ragnar was lying on the grass with its tail tucked in, and there were multiple smaller dragons lying around him. Jason’s Primordial Lightning Dragon subordinate had asked Jason to let it come out and stretch its wings, and Jason allowed it to do what it wanted as long as it didn’t cause any natural disasters around. The lightning dragon was currently somewhere in Mexico, crossing the massive country through a lightning storm, and although the storm was a little stronger than usual, Jason was glad that it wasn’t causing any serious issues.

CAW!

Helios let out another cry as it swerved around the field, and Jason smiled as he watched Helios for a few seconds before he finally looked out over the green landscape again. Jason’s return yesterday had been far too hectic. After he left the Celestial Cloud, Jason had seen the crowd waiting for him in Voltax, and he had immediately used the shadows to move away from that place. Jason and Agiel hadn’t eaten anything in days, and Agiel looked like she was about to pass out, so Jason took Agiel into the mansion so she could eat something while he spoke to Kalum about how things went.

Jason had explained everything that happened inside the Celestial Cloud to Kalum, and Kalum’s shocked look was something that Jason would remember for a very long time! But Jason couldn’t really blame him. Learning that the disaster that terrorized you for so long was just a clueless child who was trying to find his parents would be enough to shock anyone! Kalum had promised to send some soldiers to help Jason with the search on Riara, but Jason had just told Kalum not to bother since his subordinates were better at this.

After leaving Voltax, Jason brought Agiel to Earth and put her in one of the rooms in his mansion, and Agiel passed out the moment her head hit the bed! Agiel was so tired that she had slept for almost twenty-four hours by now. Jason was also exhausted, but there was still more that Jason had to do, so he needed to stay awake for a while longer.

Jason knew that there would be a meeting soon between the Overlords to discuss what he had done on Jadar. By invading and interrupting Agiel’s wedding, Jason had gone against an important section of the Primordial Treaty, and if this were any regular matter, then Jason knew that he would be facing punishment for what he did. But Jason had spoken to Farlow about it, and Farlow said that everything would be fine. Jason had only attacked Jadar because it was necessary to save the entire Primordial Expanse from the Celestial of Death. There was no way the other Overlords would punish Jason for doing something like that!

And even if they went crazy and some of them actually tried to enforce the punishment, then Farlow had already put multiple fail-safes in place to make sure that Jason didn’t face any punishment at all! Since Farlow had ordered the evacuation of Jadar before Jason’s attack and the King of Jadar had disobeyed the order, the King had already become a criminal before Jason attacked them, so there was no way the council could hope to prosecute Jason for attacking a world run by a criminal! It was a small detail, but it made all the difference in the case of a trial!

Inside the mansion, Mira and the others were preparing a large feast to celebrate Jason coming back after a full month. Jason hadn’t told anyone in the mansion what he had gone to do, and Jason just told them that he had been working with the other Overlords to deal with the Celestial. The only people other than his girls who knew that Jason walked into the Celestial Cloud were Harold and Valeria, and Jason made them promise not to tell his mother so she wouldn’t get worried. Jason knew that his stepmothers would learn about what he did when they returned to their worlds, but Jason just wanted to enjoy a few days without facing his mother’s anger.

"Hey, what are you doing out here all alone?"

Jason heard a voice speak up from behind, and he turned to see his half-sister Valeria walking up to him. Jason had already felt her mana signature for a while now, so he wasn’t surprised to see her there, and he simply turned back to look out into the distance. Valeria came to stand beside Jason, and she stared at the majestic beasts roaming across the large field before she spoke to Jason.

"I’ve been hearing rumors about Gregory lately. I think the King’s Guard are on the move. They’re definitely planning something."

Jason simply hummed in response to that without saying anything more, and Valeria turned to glance at him with a small frown before asking.

"Aren’t you worried about what he’ll do? You know Gregory’s crazy. He’s definitely planning something that will affect our entire family. Something that’ll affect you."

Jason nodded along nonchalantly, and for a moment, Valeria felt her anger growing since she thought that Jason wasn’t taking this seriously! But then Jason said:

"What do you know about the Uncharted Zone?"

Valeria blinked in surprise when she heard this, and then her eyes narrowed.

"Why do you want to know about that place? Is that where Gregory is hiding?"
