Jason successfully convinced the Celestial of Death to ascend to the Celestial plane. Before leaving, the boy asked Jason to retrieve a magic ring from his home world, Riara, to confirm the demise of his family. Jason agreed and the Celestial departed, leaving Jason and Agiel to await the ring's retrieval.

The dark Celestial Cloud moved faster as it left the world of Voltax behind, and it wasn’t long before the Soldiers all saw two figures stepping out from the darkness! Both of them were dirty, and even from this distance, the soldiers could tell that they were absolutely exhausted! But they were alive! They had actually gone into the Celestial Cloud and come out alive! That alone was enough to send all the gathered soldiers into another loud burst of excited cheers, and Jason looked up from the distance to see the soldiers waving and clapping for them.

Jason was using his shoulder to support the exhausted Agiel, and Jason only watched the crowd of gathered soldiers for a moment before he activated his arcane art and sank into the shadows.

The news of Jason and Agiel’s achievement travelled across the Primordial Expanse faster than anyone could have predicted! There were already hundreds of worlds that were keeping an eye on Voltax to try and see if Jason’s gamble would work or not. Once those worlds saw that the Celestial Cloud was actually moving away, they quickly sent messengers towards the Ninth Domain to ask them if the mission had been a success! And when they learned that Jason and Agiel had actually made the Celestial turn around, they were all shocked!

"Did you hear what happened in the Ninth Domain? Someone faced the Celestial of Death and lived."

"Wait, is that real? I heard about it too, but I didn’t believe it at first! I thought the person talking was just mad."

"Yeah, it’s true. I’ve been getting messages from my friends in the ninth domain. They all say the Celestial is moving away from their worlds."

"Whoa, so who was it? Was it Kalum?"

"No, it was actually the Overlord of the Sixth Domain, Jason Marc. He went into the Cloud and came out without a scratch."

"That’s not possible! Are you sure they aren’t just lying to us? Maybe the Celestial just decided to turn around on its own."

"No, there’s proof! Overlord Jason actually went in there and forced the Celestial to turn around! A lot of soldiers saw it, and they all said the same thing!"

There were discussions across multiple domains about what Jason had done, and people were finding it hard to wrap their heads around the fact that Jason had entered the Celestial Cloud and come out alive! Jason had already been a legend to most of the Primordial Expanse for a long time now! He had many titles that made him one of the most easily recognizable figures in any domain! But now, there was another title that was quickly spreading to even the most remote places in the world! People were calling Jason: the man touched by death.

For someone to go into the Celestial Cloud willingly and come out without any damage at all, that person had to be special, and the amount of reverence and praise being directed towards Jason had become so intense that it wouldn’t be long before entire religions would rise in Jason’s name!

....

In a secret location within an unknown world, Sicario sat on the edge of a large bed in a mansion, and he narrowed his eyes curiously as he told Enkidu to repeat what she had just said to him.

"What did you say happened while I was unconscious?"

Sicario had been unconscious for the better part of two months now because of his encounter with the Celestial of Death, and he had been in this world sleeping all that time. But the moment Sicario woke up, the first thing he did was to ask Enkidu how their plan was coming along. But the two pieces of news that Enkidu was giving him were far away from what he wanted to hear!

Enkidu was floating gently in the air as she regarded Sicario worriedly, and for a moment Enkidu did not want to tell Sicario anything about what happened. Since Sicario had just woken up, Enkidu wanted him to focus on recovering first, but it was obvious that Sicario was not interested in resting at all! Sicario urged Enkidu to tell him what happened again, and Enkidu repeated herself:

"While you were unconscious, Theosis went out of line and attempted to collect the Soul Bond of Agiel rather than killing her as you asked. Things didn’t go as he planned, and he lost the Soul Bond to Jason and suffered some damage to his Arcane Art as a result. And as for the Celestial of Death..."

Sicario had already narrowed his eyes in anger once he heard that Theosis had gone out of line like that! Sicario believed that he could trust Theosis with such a simple task, but Sicario should’ve known that Theosis’ obsession with controlling women would get in the way of completing this task! Sicario frowned when Enkidu paused after mentioning the Celestial of Death, and Sicario told her to continue. Enkidu was silent for a few more seconds as she tried to organize her thoughts before she finally said:

"We only managed to kill a few hundred billion people across hundreds of worlds. The celestial was stopped too quickly."

Sicario turned to the side and glared in annoyance! That was not what he had been expecting at all, and he knew that Jason had to be involved in stopping the Celestial. But Sicario decided that he couldn’t complain. Although the death toll wasn’t as high as he hoped it would be, it was still high enough for what they were planning! It was time for them to move on to the next phase of their plan! Sicario stood from his bed with a groan, and Enkidu moved forward quickly to help him, but Sicario raised his hand and told her not to bother!

Sicario stood straight and rolled his shoulder before he asked Enkidu if the attacks on the worlds in the first domain had already begun. Enkidu nodded and said they had taken out three worlds already.

"Ulysis is on standby for more orders, and we’re expecting Theosis and Bathseda to arrive soon as well."

Sicario shook his head as he began walking out of the room.

"We need to speed things up. Tell Ulysis I want her working on the next world within this month. Gregory isn’t going to wait for us to be ready before he starts moving."

Enkidu spoke up as she floated behind Sicario.

"Actually, there is something that happened recently regarding Gregory."

Sicario turned around curiously, and he asked Enkidu what it was. Enkidu hadn’t mentioned anything about this earlier because she hadn’t been sure that Gregory was actually responsible for it, but after some thought, she was now certain that she had to tell Sicario.

"There was an attack on an Angel delegation close to the Primordial Veil. It was around the region where Gregory’s hideout was located, and I believe Gregory might’ve been the one responsible for it. The hideout was moved recently so no one can find it, but from the news I’ve been receiving, it seems the strongest Angel, Mik’hael, is currently in a coma."

Sicario was shocked when he heard this! What in the world had Gregory been thinking!? Sicario thought Gregory was planning to remain in hiding until the time was right! If Gregory starts to make a move now, then all of their plans could fall apart! Sicario narrowed his eyes as a new wave of anger came over him, and he told Enkidu to prepare his armor!

"Gregory is becoming impatient. We need to hurry things up before he does something that jeopardizes the entire mission. Send a message out to the Apostles: we’re heading to the second domain."
