Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1048: Undead Magical Creatures
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
Jason was shocked when he read the new message from the system and he looked at the tab like he was seeing the system for the first time all over again! What the hell!? Did Jason just gain an increase in his Qi ranking from just killing Qi-based monsters!? Jason had no idea something like that was possible! Does that mean that Jason could simply bypass most of the meditation training he had been doing if he just focused on killing Qi beasts instead?
Jason realised that this was a complete game-changer! If this was actually possible, then Jason could save himself years of Qi training!
’What!? Of course that’s not possible! You need your meditation to-’
Esdath immediately started speaking up from the Alternate Dimension, but Esdath was cut off by a system message.
[Actually, the user is correct. The system’s primary function is to store and redistribute energy in the user’s body. If the user absorbs a form of energy that is not analysable by the system, the system will simply analyse it and convert it to a form that can be easily allocated to the various power statistics of the user’s body.]
Jason couldn’t help but hum in appreciation when he heard this, and Jason could almost feel the annoyance radiating off Esdath at that moment! Esdath pointed his finger up at Jason from inside the Alternate Dimension and shouted in a loud voice!
’How dare you insult the sacred art of cultivation in this way you damn freak of nature!? First you master how to use Qi in a few hours, and then you master how to track your meridians in mere minutes! And now you’re telling me you can increase your Qi ranking by simply killing Qi Beasts!? What the hell are you!?’
’Shut up you idiot.’
Jason clicked his tongue and cut off the connection to make Esdath keep quiet! But even though Esdath was ranting like a madman, that didn’t mean that he was wrong! Jason had completely surpassed every single expectation that Esdath had for him! Esdath already knew that Jason would be great since Jason was a genius cultivator just like Esdath, but Esdath never thought that Jason would eventually get so good that he would no longer need to cultivate at all! It wasn’t fair!
In truth, Esdath was just unbearably jealous of how easily Jason was able to go through all the cultivation hurdles that took Esdath years to master! Even the sacred awakening that Jason had easily done earlier was something that Esdath had to train for multiple days before he could attempt, but Jason not only completed it in one night, but he also got a sacred beast from the ritual! Esdath still had not gotten a Qi Beast like Jason did! There was no way Esdath would see all of this and not feel some sort of jealousy!
But Jason simply ignored Esdath, and he turned to the side as he heard a voice reaching out to him.
’Lord Jason! Are you there?’
Jason narrowed his eyes.
’Lamina?’
’Yes, my lord. I’m sorry to bother you, but I do not have any other option. Have you heard about the disaster approaching our world?’
Lamina, the Queen of Nox, sounded absolutely stressed at that moment, and Jason could tell that she was pacing around her room while talking to him! Jason had left Lamina as the ruler of Nox and the Overlord of the Eighth Domain even though he was in possession of her blood oath that marked him as the rightful ruler. Jason knew that Lamina was capable of doing a good job, so he didn’t see the point in taking the position from her. Jason hadn’t heard anything from Nox for a long time now, but Jason knew that things were going well there, so he didn’t bother interacting with Lamina much.
But right now, Lamina sounded like she was at a complete loss about what to do! Nox was in the Eighth Domain, and they were the closest in proximity to the Ninth Domain! This meant that the moment the Celestial of Death left the Ninth Domain, it would tear a path of destruction straight through the Eighth Domain as well, and Lamina still did not know if she would be fast enough to evacuate everyone in the disaster zone! This incident had come out of nowhere and it was obvious that it caught everyone off guard! But that wasn’t why Lamina was calling Jason!
Jason asked Lamina what she was calling for, and Lamina spoke quickly.
’I am already carrying out emergency evacuations on all the other worlds in the domain, and I’m working with my Elder Worlds to make sure things go smoothly, but I don’t know what to do about the Vympirs on Nox. Nox is too far away from any of the worlds in this domain that have the right conditions for the Vympirs to survive. If I take them to a world with a yellow or red sun, all the weaker Vympirs will die immediately. The Celestial of Death will arrive here before we can evacuate even half our population. We are your subordinates, so I decided I should let you know about this and allow you to make the decision.’
Jason looked out the window to the side with a frown! Even though Jason hadn’t interacted with the Vympirs of Nox for a long time, he was still their leader, so he needed to make sure that they were taken care of! But Jason was also thinking about Earth and all the other worlds in his own domain, and Jason could already feel a bit of annoyance creeping into his heart as all the responsibilities piled up! If Jason ever got his hands on Gregory, Jason would tear him in half with his bare hands for this bullshit!
Jason quickly forced his mind to run through many different possibilities, and he tapped his finger on the windowsill for a few seconds before his eyes suddenly widened as an idea came to him! The Vympirs on Nox couldn’t move to just any world since they needed a world that didn’t have a powerful sun to make sure the weaker Vympirs didn’t die the moment they arrived! But since there were no worlds around Nox that were like that, then wouldn’t it be okay for Jason to simply create the world himself!
’Can I send the Vympirs into my Alternate Dimension?’
Jason sent this message to the system, and the system responded quickly.
[Yes, the user can send his Vympir subordinates into the Alternate Dimension. Since Vympirs are all undead creatures whose souls have been lost to the Grim Reaper, they are technically no longer alive; therefore, they classify as dead magical creatures under the user’s control.]
Jason grinned, and he quickly sent a message to Lamina telling her that he would deal with the Vympir evacuation.
’Just finish handling the rest of the worlds in the domain. I’ll come take care of it soon.’
Lamina felt a surge of relief pass through her once she heard this, and she bowed deeply and thanked Jason gratefully!
’Thank you, Lord Jason. I’m grateful for your help.’
Jason hummed, and he closed down the connection as he saw Stella returning through the window again. Stella quickly told Jason that she had given his message to the Elders of the Eastern Mountain Sect. The elders had obviously not believed her since it was such an outlandish claim, but they said that they would contact their overlord and discuss it with him to see if they really needed to evacuate their world or not. Jason nodded in acceptance, and he told Stella that she did well. Jason had already done his part for the people here, so whatever they did from now on was up to them.
