[The Celestial Oath is a written pledge created by the world during the birth of a new Celestial. Since there can only be a constant number of Celestials in existence, the world is responsible for ensuring each Celestial’s Essence is recorded within the Throne of Immortals. The Celestial Oath can easily be read by other Immortals existing in the Celestial Plane. Meanwhile, the Shattered Aspect of a Celestial is a representation of that Celestial’s power.

[During the birth of a Celestial, an object or objects are marked with the Core Essence of that Celestial, and it is said that only by gathering these marked objects into the original core of the Celestial will the Celestial lose their immortality and succumb to death. Only the Celestials themselves know the locations of their Shattered Aspects, and it is a very closely guarded secret; therefore, the user cannot get it from them unless they willingly tell the user themselves. That is the reason why Death could not be killed during the Celestial Hunt. The Hunters did not know the location of its Shattered Aspects, so they simply imprisoned it behind the seal.]

Jason frowned once he read all this, and he was able to understand it easily. So this is why people always referred to Celestials as natural disasters! It was impossible to kill a celestial even if you attacked it with all the power in the world because they would return to life no matter what. Jason turned to the side as he felt his mind racing for a few seconds!

’So we can’t kill it, and we can’t trap it again since it already learned how they trapped it in the past. Then what the hell can we do? Do we just wait for Death to come for us?’

For only the second time in his life, Jason had absolutely no idea what he could do about a problem. This was just far too outside of anything Jason had ever handled before, and Jason realised in that moment that this might be the start of another dark age for the Primordial Expanse! If Death was really allowed to roam freely for more than one week, the death toll would be unimaginable!

C’thlyanu spoke up.

’For now, I think it is best that you simply go and take care of your domain. I will leave to give the information to the other Overlords so they can also prepare themselves. Do not fear, Jason. I hope that things do not get to drastic levels. But if they do, then I am prepared to confront Death and halt its progress using my true Celestial Body. I wish you luck.’

C’thlyanu shut down the connection, and Jason closed his eyes and let out a calm breath before he steeled his heart and prepared himself for what he had to do! Jason turned to Stella and Valeria and spoke to them quickly!

"We need to move. There’s a disaster coming towards the Primordial Expanse, and I need to get to the Sixth Domain and oversee evacuations."

Stella was immediately on high alert, and even Valeria stood up in surprise! The two women had figured out that Jason was speaking with someone telepathically, and they waited until he was done with the conversation, but they didn’t expect Jason to suddenly bring up something so shocking!

"Master, what disaster is coming? And where are we evacuating to?"

Stella spoke up while stepping forward, and Jason quickly explained what was going on. Jason told them about the conversation he had with C’thlyanu and how the Celestial of Death would be upon them soon. They had to get back to their domain so they could focus on evacuating as many worlds as possible!

Once Valeria heard the term ’Celestial of Death’, her eyes widened in shock, and she asked Jason if he was sure!

"The Celestial of Death isn’t something you joke about. Are you certain about this!?"

Jason nodded once with a serious expression, and Valeria put her hand to her head while stepping back in shock! They were all going to die! Valeria had heard about the Celestial of Death during her travels as a mercenary. The tales of the Celestial were told around campfires as ghost stories! Stories about entire worlds being eradicated and how there was no chance to fight back against it. The moment Death passes over you, you had already lost! Who in their right mind would release something like that!?

Jason spoke to Stella quickly.

"I need you to inform the elders about what’s going on and tell them that we’ll be leaving immediately. The overlord of this domain should arrive here soon to handle their evacuation. Valeria, if you wish to come with us, then you’re welcome to. You and Stella will head towards my house while I go speak to the Elder Worlds in the Sixth Domain. Grab Harold and bring him along too."

"Wait, Jason. I think we should find a way to wake Harold."

Jason narrowed his eyes when Valeria suddenly said this, and Jason asked her why they needed to do that. Valeria had a frown on her face, and she spoke up while looking over at Harold curiously.

"I don’t understand everything about it, but I think Harold already knew about all this before now. He reached out to me and asked me to come find him because there was something important he wanted to talk to you about. If we talk to him, he might know something that’ll help us stop this."

Jason frowned as he looked towards his unconscious brother. This was the first time that Jason would ever see Harold, but Jason had heard about both Harold and Valeria from Hendrix, and Jason knew that Harold was probably the most well-connected out of all the Marc siblings. Harold could get information about anything and anyone, so there was a very real possibility that Harold knew what was really going on. But Harold was not awake right now, and Jason knew that it was because Harold wasn’t a Qi practitioner. The Phoenix Qi was different from the mana Harold’s body was used to, so it took a lot out of him for the phoenix to heal him completely.

Jason couldn’t really waste time waiting for Harold to wake up! So Jason just pointed towards Calypso and told Valeria that he would leave her behind.

"I can communicate with you through my subordinates, so when he wakes up, talk to the subordinate, and it’ll get to me. I’ll come talk to him immediately."

Valeria looked towards Calypso, who was still waiting on her knees at the side, and Valeria was surprised to realise that this was a subordinate. Does that mean this woman is some sort of resurrected soul?

Jason immediately told Stella to go and do what he told her, and Stella bowed before she quickly flew out through the window! Jason then sent a message to the subordinates that he had left in the Corrupted Forest, and he told them to resurrect any beast that they killed and return to his Alternate Dimension.

The subordinates immediately obeyed Jason’s order!
