The Celestial of Death has been unleashed and is moving in a straight line across the Primordial Expanse, eradicating everything in its path. Kalum has ordered evacuations and alerted other domains, while powerful creatures are fleeing. The Celestial's path is predicted to pass through multiple domains, with an estimated death toll in the trillions if it cannot be stopped.

The world itself had already begun to shift and move its power to try to preserve the things that it considered important and prevent the Celestial of Death from killing them! The World was also incapable of killing Death since Death was an important part of the natural order. So instead, the world immediately activated a magical shield that it placed around the world of Minori and formed an impenetrable seal that would prevent Death from entering the world! Death would pass over and through all the worlds parallel to Minori, but it would not be able to enter Hesabeth’s world!

Hesabeth’s bias worked in a way that ensured she was kept safe no matter what. And at this moment, the world decided that the only way to keep its favourite child safe was by ensuring nothing could leave or enter her world!

The Great Celestial of Death would come upon everyone eventually, and although some would survive due to their preparations, there were many others who had no idea of the disaster that was coming for them. And by the time they learned about what was happening, it might already be too late!

And in the midst of all this, the man responsible for unleashing this disaster upon the Primordial Expanse simply watched while preparing himself for the aftermath of Death’s pilgrimage. Sicario knew that his actions would lead to the demise of billions of people across thousands of worlds in the Primordial Expanse, but he believed deep in his heart that this was necessary. The lives that would be lost in the next few days would serve as worthy sacrifices, and they would lay the foundation for the start of a war that would force the Primordial Expanse to break free from their unconscious slavery and finally enter into a new age.

[The World of Diran]

[The Forest of Corrupted Beasts]

[An Hour Before C’thlyanu Sensed the Celestial of Death]

Somewhere on the far eastern part of the main continent on Diran, there was a large forest that had been marked as off-limits to most cultivators in the world! This forest was covered in a constant aura of despair, hate, and rage that cast it in a deep, inhospitable shadow away from the rest of the world! And as a result of the accumulation of all these negative emotions, the forest had become home to some of the most dangerous beasts in the entire continent of Diran!

The cultivators of this world graded their beasts from the Rank I Common Beast - which was the easiest beast to fight and kill, and the beasts that cultivators used to train children when they first began their training – to the Rank V Demons, which were corrupted beasts with the capacity to eradicate entire cities from the map if they were allowed to roam freely! Anything beyond the Rank V demons was called an Awakened Calamity, and these were the beasts that would require multiple Master level Cultivators or one Transcendent-level Cultivator to take care of.

Most of the beasts in the Forest of Corrupted Beasts were somewhere between the second and third rank, and it was a common practice for cultivators in training to come into the forest and take care of these low-ranking beasts so that they wouldn’t be able to absorb any more negative Qi! But as you go deeper into the forest, you begin to encounter far more dangerous beasts who had already absorbed a lot of negative Qi, and the only people who could travel into that part of the forest were cultivators in the Master rank or higher.

Today, one of the cultivation schools in the Eastern Mountain Sect was going on a mission into the outer area of the Corrupted Forest. The master of the cultivation school stood before his students with his hand behind his back, and he regarded all of them calmly.

"Today, we will test what we have been learning for the past two years. You have all grown by leaps and bounds in your training, but you have never faced a true challenge that would push you to perfect your battle techniques. Within this forest lie those challenges. The monsters in here are truly after your life. They will do everything in their power to kill you, so you must do everything in your power to ensure you survive."

The group was made up of many young men and women who had started their cultivation training a few years ago! These were the most talented group of students that the master currently had, but out of all of them, there was one girl who had far more talent than all the others!

The girl stood in front of the group with a cocky smile on her face as she listened to the master’s instructions! She had short red hair and an androgynous face that would make it easy for her to pass off as a pretty boy. She was wearing a green belt around her waist to show that she had already become an Awakened Rank Cultivator, even though all the other students behind her were wearing white belts to show that they were only Disciple Ranks!

Her name was Girai, and the Master had great expectations for her since she had shown the most potential out of this entire generation of cultivators! But the master was worried about his student because of the cocky attitude she possessed. For a cultivator, peace with nature was the most important thing, and having an egotistic attitude would not allow you to connect with nature as well as you should! The master knew that if Girai continued like this, she would eventually stagnate and fall behind her peers!

And that is why the master was glad that they were getting another person with them today! The master looked up as he felt another Qi signature coming closer, and he nodded as he spoke to the students in front of him.

"Today, we have a special guest. He is not a member of the Eastern Mountain Sect, but he possesses the blessing of Qi and the recommendation of the elders, so treat him with the respect that you would grant to me."

The students all began to murmur in curiosity as they wondered who was coming! Someone who wasn’t from the Eastern Mountain Sect that had the recommendation of the Elders? That was not something they had ever heard about before!

At the front of the line, Girai frowned as she thought about what this could be about.

’Is it some old man that trained in the mountains for a long time? Yes, that’s most likely it!’

Girai looked up as she waited for the person to show themselves. Girai knew just how difficult it was for anyone to gain the elder’s approval, so Girai was sure that this was just some old wandering cultivator who had been training for years already!

But once the students sensed the Qi that was approaching, they all went silent in shock! This person was a Master Rank practitioner! That meant that this person had already gone through their awakening and gained a Qi Element! The students all became certain that they would be meeting with some sort of legend who trained in the mountains for a long time, but they wouldn’t be able to hide their shock when Jason finally began to descend from the sky!

The students watched as Jason landed on the rock beside their master and gave him a handshake with a small smile. They looked Jason over from head to toe – like they were trying to figure out if this was a joke or not – and when they didn’t see anything strange, they realised that this was really the guest!

"Everyone, this is Jason Marc, the student of the late Elder Esdath. He will be going into the forest with us today. Although we will be working separately, I thought it was necessary to inform you about his presence."

"There’s no way!"

Girai suddenly spoke up in shock when the elder finished his announcement!
